Great B trail. Periodic rest spots with seating. Mile markers up to 2 miles. There is nothing at the end of B to see or seating. Shaded for the most part. Ups and downs but there are signs to warn you.

Gem of a trail. Wish it were longer then about 5.5 miles. I could see construction on the other side of the river, maybe in the next year it will cross the Red River and join another trail.

Got to play real life snake but I was the apple. Quite scary wildlife and I am afraid to revisit again. Ideally these snakes would be tracked so that they could offer subsequent warnings. To ensure a safer approach to this region I would ride a bike or unicycle to avoid snake attack. Maybe wear some jeans.

The best running in Clarksville. Pollard Rd parking area fills up fast, theyre currently working to expand the parking lot. There are multiple place to park, Marys Oak and Heritage park have never been full that Ive seen. The route follows an old rail road bed, traces the Red River for a good portion of the route.

The Greenway is a great outdoor path that winds its way through beautiful wooded scenery. It is very accessible, and contains a well-maintained asphalt path that accommodates both short and long distance exploring. Runners and bicycle enthusiasts as well as those going on foot will be very happy to utilize this area. Two trailheads make it convenient to get to from any part of town.

Beautiful paved trail that allows you to soak in mother nature! Weve gone here to run while our kids rode their bike and walked our dog. It is a perfect place for families and pets to go and exercise. If you park at the Pollard Rd. entrance, there is a restroom and you have two options of ways to go. The left side leads to a bridge, a built in workout area and then Heritage Park. We have never finished the right side but it has hills that get pretty steep which is perfect to up your exercise whether you are running, rucking, skating or biking!

The Greenway is open dawn to dusk and its a great place to walk, jog, or run. If you start at Pollard and go left its all flat, right and there are a couple of big hills and it sort of ends down by the river. Overall its a nice walk/jog and pretty quiet.

I love the idea of changing a railroad into a beautifully paved path. It’s well maintained, with plenty of distance for taking the kids on a walking trip or rollerblading/walk with the dogs. There are rest rooms decently placed for my location, but unfortunately the water fountains weren’t operational. Could be that they were turned off for the season, but if they had installed frost free valves it shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll just have to be more prepared next time I’m going for a long trip.Overall a very nice setup for any time of the year if you’re an outdoors kind of person!!!

There are two paths. The one on the left is flat and paved and Its the busier of the two. The way on the right is also paved but it has lots of hills and less people. It currently ends at 2.5 miles but the city plans on expanding it. The whole Greenway is great for walking, running, or biking with nice views of trees and water along the sides.

My family enjoys taking long walks here. We loved that the trees block the sun from directly beaming on you making it a bit more enjoyable on super hot and humid days. We like the distance markers to help us keep track since our kids can be very distracting but they too enjoy being able to walk, bike, or be carried to take in all its beauty. Each trail offers something difference. We like walking the trail to see the beautiful bridge you can walk over. The trails are very well maintained and clean.

A great place to bring the kids and bicycles. The trails start by a park on the north end of of Kenwood school complex. The trail follows an old rail road track that ran through Clarksville many years ago. The trail is paved and has benches along the route to enjoy the sights. One area has an out door gym that either you or the kids can enjoy. Further down the trail you will walk across an old rail road bridge. Looking down, over the side you can see deep ravines that are covered in greenery and beautiful stone formations. One can imagine, riding on an old steam engine, with thick white smoke belching out of the stack. The foliage closes over the trail and makes a green cave.

If you park at Pollard, the trail to the right is hilly (for about 1.25) miles then evens out. I have only ran this side to 2.5 miles (it has 2.6 displayed). The path is marked every .25 miles on both sides. The trail to the left is said to be 2.0 miles but extends an additional 0.3 miles. This side has a rather large bridge to cross but is consistent in elevation throughout. I ran 8.5 miles and it was the most serene and relaxing runs I have ever been on. (Besides the two rather large hills). There is ample shade; just be careful of slick spots after the rain.

Great place to run in the summer, shaded most of the way. Get there early parking fills up fast. Greenway is fairly wide, benches, tables, and workout areas on trail. Trailway is very clean, Ive never seen a piece of refuse on it in 4 years! Most of the users are very nice. Its also beautiful in the fall. Watch out for the occasional dog poop(bad owner), rarely small snakes, wild turkeys, and coyote. Dont be afraid to smile and wave!

Love it!! The only thing I do not like that the city is letting it run down and not keeping it kept up I would have to give that a one-star but as far as walking or running or riding a bicycle it is great some bicyclists goes too fast on there. There are too many people at times for the bicyclist to be going that fast.
