This place has nice scenic views, the river is close by and you can easily load to kayak swim or fish. there is a nice bridge but unfortunately there is a sign posted that it is private property even though there is a paved trail. you can still get close tot he river to explore and along the rivers edge is a short trail. there is also a lot of open space for a picnic, playing a sport with friends or the kids. there’s a park as well for kids to play and burn off energy. i also noticed a pavilion for small events and port a potty’s near by.

A beautiful little park with easy access to the river for kayaks, and a rather steep 1/2 mile walking trail accross the bridge. Bathrooms, and a large covered pavilion with a small stage and round metal tables can accommodate a pretty good size family reunion or group.

Great spot for family picnics and gatherings. There are clean restrooms, a shaded pavilion area near the restrooms, a nice sized playground and basketball courts. Theres also a bridge you can walk across to go to West Creek Coyote Trail if youre interested in a little hiking. There are a few areas by the creek where the rocks are flat and you can set up chairs under the trees. Water is refreshing and theres a rope swing as well as another spot for jumping off into the water. Definitely wear some type of water shoe. There are rocks, tree roots and the rocks are slippery in some areas. If you have someone willing to pick you up at the end and take you back to your car or droo you off/pick you up, its a blast to float down the creek!

After being closed for months this place is just as terrible as it use to be. My son was stung by a wasp that has a very large nest in the playground in the green top. Every time we are here there are wasp nests in the playground. The trail is very over grown and has poisen ivy at all edges. A police decided to harass the only black couple there, not us. Just nuts. Not a nice park. I thought this place just reopened. I bet nature takes it back in this shape quick.

Beautiful park for the family! Huge covered pavilion for inclement weather with convenient grills. Two indoor restrooms, for men and women. Female bathroom has three stalls without doors. Nice stage for ceremonies or stereo equipment. Has playground and swings for kids and a small basketball court. Also has paved parking lot across from pavilion for convenience. Theres usually a food truck in the parking lot, weather permitting. Although, Id pass on their cheeseburger. I didnt particularly care for it. The meat Patty seemed as if cooked hours prior. But they did have fast service.

Why are there no other reviews on this little park? Its got a beautiful bridge you can walk across, theres a short little trail, a huge covered by pavilion, basketball goals, grills, a playground, people fish, and you can swim here. (At your own risk) I personally wouldnt swim, no telling what people have thrown into the creek. But its over all very beautiful. There were tons of people taking professional pictures while we were there, and for good reason! Definitely a cool little hidden park thats not too crowded. We only wish the walking tail was longer, its very short.

Most of the equipment is out of date and the grass was not being cut. The signs stating that they were keeping the grass high for wild growth and local plants and trees. At this point Clarksville still has enough wild growth and trees that populate the area. All it seems to do by letting the weeds and grass grow is invite plenty of unwanted bugs and possible snakes up to the shore where people walk.

I love it here! It’s free, has restrooms, and has a park for children! However, the current is mostly always strong, so if you have children, watch out! There is a couple of places in the water where it either has a strong current, rocks/branches/twigs, or holes.. overall I love this place! Go here every summer! ️ WARNING: strong current - big rocks in/out water - only one grill - wear a old swimsuit - restrooms sometimes are closed - come early!! It’s very hard to find parking here so try and come a bit earlier so you get dibs! Have a great time here!

Decent park. River has garbage and trash littering shore line. Had a group of younger archers which was pleasant to see them out there practicing and having a good time. There is a walk path which is nice, however the secluded part of it was not very long. Will possibly go back and check out the fishing when it has not rained so recently.

Beautiful park. Very scenic. You can walk beside the water, play at the park with your kids including swings slides and a basketball half court. Oh, and you can have a BBQ all at the same place, same time. There are bathrooms that are usually locked but you can use a porta potty if you really gotta go.

I almost dont want to review this place so that it remains underutilized, but it is a really nice little area. There is a large pavilion available by reservation through the municipal government (Parks Department, maybe?). The Clarksville Blueway flows by, and there are small portions of the bank that are shallow enough for kids and dogs to play in the water. There is a single walking path that connects Boy Scout Road, but no real hiking options. The park is rounded out by a small playground and picnic tables. Plenty of parking is available and you can launch small paddle boats like kayaks and canoes here.

Great Park with a lovely creek and a small playground for the kids. We came here to do a little barbecue picnic of hamburgers and hot dogs. With the lovely spring weather, it was slightly warmer for us to be outdoors. The toilets are closed so we had to improvise using a bottled water to wash up. Thankfully we found a standing grill near the pavilion. Since theres only 1 in the entire park, do bring your own portable grill in case this one is occupied. We had a lovely day and look forward to coming back again soon!

Unlike a lot of playgrounds around here, it actually has swings in addition to a nice play structure. It has a large covered area good for birthday parties, bathrooms (though Ive never used them), some uncovered picnic tables overlooking the steam, and adequate parking. There are large open fields to run or picnic in, big enough for flying kites. There is a long paved walking trail with a nice bridge that goes over the stream, which is also clean enough to swim in, fairly easily accessible, and pet friendly, but be wary with little ones as like most natural water sources, it gets deeper suddenly. All in all, one of my favorite local parks, well maintained, and a great place to have family pictures done.

Beautiful scenery. Nice big playground. Free to come and swim in the river, tube, fish, play, picnic, take photos, have baptism ceremonies, hike, walk, learn about nature, etc. Bathrooms on site. Parking is questionable on a sat when tons of people are there, or for an event. And you have to call to rent/reserve the pavilion.

Very truly and deeply disappointed. Went today, a Sunday afternoon and was bewildered by how overcrowded it was. Nothing but young adults who refuse to watch their foul mouths. Was hoping to let my 5 year old ride his bike on the walking trail. Walking trail.....no this is a steep path that leads to literally nothing. You have to turn around when you get to the top... seriously. Needless to say, i would not recommend this as a family spot.
