It has a good roll in thats mirrored by a curved quarter pipe. But they messed the concrete up when they poured it, so it has a lump in halfway down, so its almost impossible to drop in on. But it is possible. I was able to, but only in like two spots. Its a great place to bring kids I guess. They took the bowl out I guess. Even though its in the pictures on here

Nice free place for kids during the summer. I wish there was a smaller water area for babies but we still enjoyed it.

This is a safe place to go skateboard. Its kind of more designed to be a BMX park, its made of all concrete. Theres a sign that says youre supposed to use pads. There is an emergency button on case anyone does get hurt in an ambulance needs to arrive quickly. Overall I have gone here for about 20 years and I still enjoy going.

The skate park is small, but the park itself is big enough for you and your family to enjoy.

This skatepark looks like it was designed by a swimming pool company, and not in a good way. It’s so bad that I drive an extra thirty minutes to Hopkinsville every time I want to skate.

Definitely more a bmx than skateboarding park- Unless youre really good or really brave. Great people watching.

Honestly the worse park Ive ever been to. Ive traveled the world and skated everywhere Ive been. Hands down the worse. Designed by people who have never seen a skate park and built by people who have even less of a clue. Every quarter pipe they built seems to be in the mindset they all go vertical. Even the two foot ones. The half bowl looks cool but its so uneven you cant keep balance. Ill add pictures of everything.

My five year old loves going here. There are a few small ramps for him. There are two large ramps for bigger kids and plenty of stairs and rails for those who like that. Ive never been to another skate park so I cant compare, but overall I think its great.

Ive been going to this skatepark for 17 years and they have subtracted things never added anything new. It would be awesome if parks and rec. Would listen to the skateboarder that go there for improvements.

The pyramid, the swing you can lay on, & the water area are my 3 favorites even though theres too many kids around for someone like me to run though. Sadly since its a kids park, I try to make sure to let the kids have fun before I get on the swing or climb the pyramid. The only downside is 1 entrance and exit because the 2nd exit leads to the soccer field parking lot & is gated off specifically for them. I feel this is kind of a safety hazard. If this doesnt get fixed to where theres 2 exits at the Heritage park at the playground side, then Ill drop the review to 4 stars or Ill just park over at the skate park. Otherwise, this is fun for both my nieces & I. :-D

Absolute terrible skate park major failure on community leaders not involving distinguished skateboarders in the local community help design layout of the skatepark. Quarter pipes built improperly, stairs have no run way to perform tricks. List goes on and on big disappointment I’ve seen many cities make this mistake time and time again. Whether the money was donated or taxpayers money was involved you the city flushed it down the toilet...

It was an alright park. Just a few things could that have been better.. there was a big crack in the concrete right in the middle of one of the quarter pipes, didnt affect much though. It did have a very poor layout for the stairs and rails though. Not sure how the designer really expected people to hit them. Got me back in the groove though.

Worst park ive skated. Ive skated many parks and diys. I would rather skate a parking lot with cyrbs. Its build like a tech deck set youd by for your kids. The pavement was done so poory its cracked, patched, and uneven everywhere. They filled the halfpipe in because people kept getting hurt. Its a skatepark what do you expect. The paintings on the park are more to go for than the park. They took away the bowl which wasnt very good either. Instead of taking away sone of the park take it all away and redo it the right way since they couldnt the first time. Most of the street obstacles are not even skateable and who puts kinks on rails? Skaters hate kinks.

I love going here on my RipStik, and just recently I got a skateboard. On my RipStik, I came about every two weeks, now that Ive got a skateboard, Ill probably come about twice weekly.. So about the park... The first 3 ramps are in a sort of track formation... Here they are in order. The largest ramp is approximately 9 feet high, but is not a quarter-pipe. It is actually a very large kicker ramp. It is all great until you reach the bottom of the ramp... It is a very sharp jerk that gets you going from a 65 degree angle to a 0 degree angle in just 10 inches of ramp... Yes the bottom is a bit of a jerk, but the ramp all together is a fast, thrilling jolt of excitement. On the other side of the ramp is a huge stair set. The ramp that you hit after that is a 5 foot funbox. There is a ledge separating two sides, one a 3 sided kicker, and the other a two sided quarter pipe, with the tops of each one about 6 feet away from each other. the last side of the quarter pipe side is a simple stair set with a handrail. Once you are off of the funbox, there is a vertical quarter-pipe that is about 8.10ft. high that loops you around 90 degrees, each side of the ramp about 12 feet away from each other. After that, you can go anywhere. There are two double-sided kickers, two flat rails, and a bowl in an L shape about 8ft. high. On the other side of the park there is a 3.8ft. drop (no stirs of rails) from flat to flat, a Z shaped flat rail, and a 2 foot double-sided quarter-pipe. It s an outdoor park that is made of concrete with graffiti of the walls of the large kicker ramp. Anyway, I enjoy going to this skatepark, and I think you will too. Give it a go! Btw, there is a childrens playground just across the parking lot if you wanna take the younger kids along with you. See you there!!
