What a scenic little escape. Fishing, kayaking, exploring nature. Its a fun place to check out. Parking is limited though.

Beautiful place to get your kayak into the water! Short hiking trail down to the water, but no longer hiking options.

Good place for fishing, canoeing. If you like the nature thats your place.

Best for kayaking in the early morning. By noon it’s packed with tubers that can’t control where they’re going and bump into you.

We love kayaking the blue way, quick and easy plus its right here in town

Parking lot can get crowded, and people block the path some times. However, the stairs are great and putting in tubes or kayaks is easy from here.

Its a very nice short walking area if you are working on your legs because it has a hill thats perfect for leg workout.

If you want to take the float tour this party is awesome. However the stairs fall short of reaching the bottom. The park has insufficient parking and a bit more couple be done for cleanup and advisement for those doing the float for the first time.

If youre looking for a good spot to launch your kayak, this is the place. Easy access to the Red River and theres a two mile route that goes to Billy Dunlap Park. If youre looking for a much longer route, stay on the river until it links up with the Cumberland River which is 14 miles.

Quiet place. Follow the nature trail on the other side of the railing for about 1/4 mile and there is a small hidden spring waist deep. Isolated clean and nice. On the main river there is a 20ft cliff to jump off of into the river.

This is a great place to start at for floating the river. The parking would be decent, but is really pretty insufficient for the number of people that now visit here.

Great scenery and nice little walking paths. Entrance to river with free parking. Downside is people dont clean up their trash, especially the boxes for rafts and tubes. Also, lots of ticks, so wear bug spray and do a full body check.

Way over crowded. It needs to be expanded if space can be found.

This is a tiny little park but still nice. Not a lot of parking here, so get here early if you need to. We use this as the entrance to the blueway and float to Billy Dunlop park when the weather is nice. Just beware of snakes!
