Beautiful place to get your kayak into the water! Short hiking trail down to the water, but no longer hiking options.
Good place for fishing, canoeing. If you like the nature thats your place.
We love kayaking the blue way, quick and easy plus its right here in town
Parking lot can get crowded, and people block the path some times. However, the stairs are great and putting in tubes or kayaks is easy from here.
Nice spot to chill for a bit
I learned how to swimm here when I was little. Beautiful and relaxing
Its a very nice short walking area if you are working on your legs because it has a hill thats perfect for leg workout.
If you want to take the float tour this party is awesome. However the stairs fall short of reaching the bottom. The park has insufficient parking and a bit more couple be done for cleanup and advisement for those doing the float for the first time.
If youre looking for a good spot to launch your kayak, this is the place. Easy access to the Red River and theres a two mile route that goes to Billy Dunlap Park. If youre looking for a much longer route, stay on the river until it links up with the Cumberland River which is 14 miles.
Quiet place. Follow the nature trail on the other side of the railing for about 1/4 mile and there is a small hidden spring waist deep. Isolated clean and nice. On the main river there is a 20ft cliff to jump off of into the river.
Great spot for a float
This is a great place to start at for floating the river. The parking would be decent, but is really pretty insufficient for the number of people that now visit here.
It is a nice place to park. The good thing is the spacious and the light at the place...love to park my vehicle anytime of the day
Floating is the best, Ive met some of the nicest people on the water. Its always a great time
Great drop in spot for a nice paddle!
Great swimming...and great place to put kayaks and floats into the river.
Beautiful peaceful serenity. Such a hidden gem..
Great for kayaking
Great scenery and nice little walking paths. Entrance to river with free parking. Downside is people dont clean up their trash, especially the boxes for rafts and tubes. Also, lots of ticks, so wear bug spray and do a full body check.
Great drop in spot to float the Red River
Beautiful park, lovely scenery
Way over crowded. It needs to be expanded if space can be found.
This is a tiny little park but still nice. Not a lot of parking here, so get here early if you need to. We use this as the entrance to the blueway and float to Billy Dunlop park when the weather is nice. Just beware of snakes!
Absolutely beautiful, well maintained, love it
Fun place for families, close to the river for kayaking and canoeing/rafting.
Great locate spot to canoe or Kayak. It is one of Clarksvilles summer hot spots.
Great locate spot to canoe or Kayak. It is one of Clarksvilles summer hot spots.
Excellent access to the water. Parking is tight, but the stairs to the water are solid and the area is clean.
Really cool place but small area for a hiking trip.
Theres a stairway that goes down and kinda dead-ends at the water, and a nice little picnic area. Theres also a nice little hiking trail.
Childrens Vanderbilt hospital nurses and doctors here are friendly and helpful too
Nice clean place to start a relaxing weekend floating down a river bring your own floatation device
Very beautiful place to visit!!!
Lots to choose from had what i needed checking out very painfully slow
I love this little park. The only complaint I have is the tiny amount of parking available.
Great place to put your kayak or canoe in for a float
No easy access to the water and bad parking options
No tresspassing
