Awesome park. There is something for every age and taste. You can quietly pick nick under the beautiful big tree and then bring your kids to the sprinkle playground and/or the kids playgroung. Then bring your dog to the dog park. Or just drink a beer at the bar. And all this while having a amazing view at the Music Hall and the other beautiful buildings around the park.

I love Washington Park and visit it regularly with my best friend and her dog. It is beautiful in all seasons and everyone there is happy. The flowers in the spring are incredible with music hall in the background. There is a playground, dog park, splash pad, bar, and gazebo. There are also many events hosted there such as movies, kick ball games, music, and markets during the warmer months.

What a fun and fabulous park. I hadnt been here and a long time and was so surprised at all there was. Dog park, fantastic play area and water play area were all very cool. The Porch was well shaded and had nicely spaced seating so you can safely grab a beer or soda. I found a parking spot on the street but knowing there is parking in the garage on site is reassuring. I ended up spending 6 hours looking at the art display and watching the families and dogs. I look forward to going back for a picnic with carry out from a local restaraunt.

This is a inviting and fun functional park. I had not been here for a few years and was surprised to find a splash area for the little ones (big one too) a dog park and a really cool playground. The Porch was open for the purchase of beverages. Tables were spaced well and the people I met were masked. It felt very comfortable and safe. By the time I left there was live jazz playing on the round band stage. There is plenty of grass and tables for an outing and you can bring your take out from a restraunt neat by and dine in the park. I think Ill be back next week to do it again.

This is always a great choice to come to. It has an open water park, outdoor museum, open bathrooms, climbing structures for kids and plenty of benches to eat at and people watch. The scenery with art work is worth looking at. Everyone wore mask if they got to close to people. A nearby parking lot on elm st is only $3.

We visited Washington Park for the CSOs event called Look Around. The event was fun bringing a celebration of music and performing arts to this already beautiful park. This park has just about everything in one convenient space - childrens playground, dog play area, bandstand, mature trees, open fields, flush toilets, underground parking, interactive lighted water fountain and more. Great place to spend your leisure time at anytime!

Absolutely fantastic park! If you live in Cincinnati or are visiting, definitely take the time to go play Downtown in Washington Park. Park is gated with one entrance/ exit which is so wonderful when you have toddlers and preschoolers. The park is kept so nice and clean and there are actual inside bathrooms which are also kept very clean. It is also right near water fountains that spray up from the ground that kids are allowed to play in. My boys have a wonderful time every time we go.

This park is a treasure for locals and a must go to spot for visitors. Enjoy a picnic on the lawn, play in the waterscape or playgrounds, let your dog run in the dog park, or find a nice reprieve from the hot sun under the many mature trees. They also have a stand for drinks with spacious porch seating. A visit to Washington Park turns any weekend, weeknight, or afternoon into a mini vacation.

Back in the 80s we used to bring food to the homeless and addicted folks that filled this park and you rarely saw anybody else in the park. Times change and the city of Cincinnati has more addiction treatment programs, more homeless shelters and a better organized social saftey net And boy, has the park changed. When I saw it in the Summer of 2019 I truly was amazed. There were many kids playing in the great water features like the splash pad, the water flowing down the steps and so on. They show outdoor movies for the family every Wednesday night at 9 PM. Theres even a nice covered outdoor patio where you can buy beer, wine, mixed drinks and light snacks. If you choose to not use public transportation, parking is underneath the park and is very reasonable. You can also access the downtown Connector train from the park at a couple of places. You buy Connector train tickets from a machine right at the loading platforms-- $2.00 for an all day pass. Theres a large dog park at one end of the park and theres a lot of dispensers of doggy clean up bags if you forget your own. They have free exercise classes, red bike rentals and just places to sit and enjoy the gardens. It was great to see so many people, from very young to old enjoying a beautiful summer day in the park
