We had a lot of fun tonight at Bogarts tonight watching that Arena rRock Show and Staci Michaelz & the Electric Congregation! I am mobility challenged, but the staff at Bogarts is so polite , respectful and helpful. Shout out to Meg, and Rachel, and another sweet gal, tho her name escapes me, currently. The show was so much fun and I love it that it was a family friendly one too. We really enjoyed ourselves this evening! Kudos to all!

First time at Bogarts! Drove two hours from Indianapolis and did not regret a second of it. The venue itself is very nice. Sound was excellent, as was their security team. Ice Nine Kills sold out the venue, and despite there being 1,400 people in the venue, it still didnt feel crowded. We will definitely come back!

Decent alcohol prices for a live event venue. Highly recommend the peanut butter whiskey. Womens restroom was fairly clean although one toilet was clogged/broken. Rest of venue was clean and security personnel immediately dealt with drunk rowdy concert goers.

My first experience there was to see Jordan Davis. It is the perfect venue for a small show. Wasnt overly crowded. All the general admission tickets are standing room only but there are tables available at extra cost, prices vary depending on where you want to sit. You can reserve your table and parking in advance so you dont have to fight for parking. Drinks are reasonably priced and every employee I encountered was very nice and helpful. They also have complementary ear plugs available at the bar. Had a wonderful experience!

Without the INSANE amounts of overly drunk people every single time I go there its not so bad...They need to start cutting people off at a certain point more often. Almost every visit leads to a confrontation with at least one person thats at a theyve had way too much level of intoxication. Live instruments also have a tendency to be overbearing and ear piercing at times. Outside of those 2 things its not a TERRIBLE place to catch a live show at all.

First time visiting. We follow a certain band wherever they go.Parking pass was a joke. Parking staff didnt know what they were doing. Had a long list of names for who was attending and asked everyone (in the middle of parking) to find their name. (Security issue exposing others.) Barcodes werent scanned. Guy claimed he didnt even know why they give it to you guys. Early pass even more of a joke. Stood in line for over an hour with an early pass to only have staff let people with the same pass, who visibly jumped lines, in first. But prior to that there were cars pulling up with sketchy individuals promoting their business to those in line outside. One security guard was horrible towards the front of the stage. Older lady was having a good time and he kept yelling at her to button her shirt. He was also swatting and yelling at another guy on the other side of us for whatever reason. Photographers blocked our view many times in the front. Given its their job, but as a photographer myself, it should be known people paid money to see the show. Not the back of their heads and equipment.Building was nice and spacious. Restrooms were evenly spaced and nice to get to in a mess of people. Beer kept flowing. Bonus points. Although the amount of beer still on the ground when arriving made all of us stick to the floor. (Pants touching floor not advised.) But thats normal for a bigger revenue.Overall it was a good time. Hopefully theres more communication with the staff/vendors to fix the parking and line standing while reminding security, theyre at a laid back, pumped up, banjo concert. Women are going to take their tops off... apparently.

This is a really awesome venue with cheap drinks gatorade and water was $3. Lots of cool artwork on the walls of bands and artists that have previously performed there. No tables unless you want to upgrade for 40 dollars a person . The drinks are watered down,at least the Long islands are. The bartender actually poured water in my wifes Long island right in front of me lol. The prices are insane. 7 dollars for a draft beer. I highly recommend if your going to have a few drinks you do it elsewhere. They also let so many people inside, going to the bathroom is at least a 10 to 15 min trip each way so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make it. Overall pretty poor venue. Oh I forgot to mention when you pay that upgrade fee for a table youre supposed to get free food. We got there super early so should have been plenty of pulled pork left but it was all gone. There were 5 of us so thats 200 dollars in upgrade fees. What they did was get us a pizza from across the street so the long short is we spent 200 dollars for a small table and a large pizza. Save your money people and see your favorite band somewhere else!

Nice small venue but be careful if you drive to this location. I attended a concert that was still going strong at midnight and my car was towed because I was still parked after midnight. I do think that someone needs to rethink the design of that but other than that no complaints. Ive seen lots of shows here since 99 and theyve definitely renovated, updated and really made it a much nicer venue than it use to be. From the floors to the walls and the entrance, its very nice. If I could I would give 0 stars. The venue is poorly managed. 4 bars and 2 of them were out of napkins 20 mins after the doors opened? Don’t understand how you do not stock a bar with napkins but that’s beside the point. On top of that the bartenders were quite rude. Walked up to the bar and the bartender was on her phone and didn’t even look up when we ordered or when giving us the drink. Venue said the doors open at 7, the line was down to wing stop and took way too long to get through. There were 5 security workers waiting to wand people to let them through. Of the 5 only 3 were actually working. 2 were just leaning on the fence. Then to top it all off they left the doors open during the show letting the 14 degree wind blow through, asked one of the staff if it would get closed and she said management is too cheep to turn on the heat or air so they always just leave the doors open. I had to wrap myself in my coat to keep from shaking. People had to go to the coat check to get their coat just to stay warm (so much for the $4 they paid). Band was amazing but would rather drive 3 hours to see them at any other venue.

They have two entrances one for early entrance and one for regular. The sad thing is that they close the early entrance once the people are done entering and then open the regular. They should split the concert goers in half and keep both entrances open to facilitate a more efficient entrance experience. The lines are crazy long to get in and not efficient. It can be done much more efficiently.

My husband and I went to Bogarts to a show tonight and I was really pleased witb things overall. The venue is old and a little dirty(restrooms were clean, though). The neighborhood is a little rough, too, and lots of trash outside, and someone had been sick right outside the front door, so we were getting kinda nervous. But staff was excellent, everything was super efficient and secure. Reserved parking for the venue had security throughout the night. The best part was that when my husband, who has nerve damage in his ears from an accident, began having difficulty with the volume and frequency of the sound, a staff member standing nearby actually noticed the problem and handed him some earplugs. Saved him from having to leave. We were so thankful. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and made it a great night.

The Stabbing Westwards (remember them? Me neither.) came to this town and my friends forced me to go and we waited outside to be the first ones in. It was worth it. We got the posters on the wall and were in front. The bass guitarist threw down his guitar pick to a wild fan right behind me, who was getting on my friends nerves. It started a fight and the wild fan got thrown out, all the while my friend had purposely stepped on the guitar pick where it landed and kept it safely under his shoe. I ended up with it. The singer was drinking Gatorade and passed it to each of us up front. It was neat, I guess, just glad we didnt end up with any diseases from drinking after each other. He then threw the bottle out to a fan right next to me. I didnt start a fight about it. I was happy for him.

Great close-quarters venue that often has a wide variety of artists. Bogarts is perfect for the artists you want to see that arent quite big enough to make it to Riverbend and in my opinion it is better because its one giant pit area with general admission so you can get right up close to your favorite artists. The only downside is that the staff can be very rude and occasionally the place can get overbooked it seems and they are not very accommodating of that. I had a staff member yelling at me to move out of the way when the crowd was packed tightly into the building and I told her there wasnt much I could do and she began escalating the situation and was ready to kick me out. Other than that experience though the staff have always been nice and accommodating and I think this one lady was just having a bad day or something so I dont hold her actions or attitude against the venue. Great place, would recommend.
