Our daughters wedding was here - what an AWEsome place!! So beautiful, unique and fun. On-site catering, had a room for the kids to play in and hang out if they wanted, big dance floor, gorgeous location immediately across from a tree-lit park. Mark, the owner, was so helpful and friendly, did everything he could to make the day perfect. Also had the rehearsal dinner there. Hats off to the 20th Century Theater!

My husband and I had our wedding here and we loved our experience so much. Not only was the venue gorgeous, but the staff was fantastic as well. We 100%recommend using this location!

The food was good. The DJ was fun. The room was a little dark and the carpet needed a shampoo.

We had our wedding and reception during the height of Covid-19 pandemic. 20th Century was more than accommodating! They went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time of our lives! We are so happy we chose 20th Century Theatre and would choose them every single time!

Converted movie house from decades gone by that has for quite some time become a small music/performance venue in Oakley. Tables/chair seating down and theater seating in the balcony. Parking can be a challenge. Likely not as resplendent as it was in its heyday but at least it is still in use.

As a wedding photographer, good venues are just as important as good clients. If I could give this place a 10 I would. Absolutely lovely staff, knowledgeable about the building, and they LOVE their job. The building itself is stunning and so fun, plus there’s a nice little park across the street for outdoor portraits. I’ll be recommending this place to anyone that wants a really fun space!

Nice, small venue with great bartender service. Drinks were reasonably priced too, especially compared to all the other bars and venues in Cincinnati. Pending on the concert lineup, I will be back!

Our first time at this venue and we were impressed by the room where Peter Asher played and reminisced about his music career. He said he too was very impressed and especially liked the echo effect. Looking forward to a future concert here.

Old movie theatre renovated to accommodate a party. Great for sports parties or company events. Great audio visual capability and decent bar. No super fancy, but very capable. Parking is a bit tough since its on a busy main street.

A lot of fun!DJ did an awesome job and the sound/lighting system ROCKS!The staff was very accommodating.Building is a bit older which on one hand adds a cool touch of nostalgia, however, building could use a few (minimal) cosmetic updates and/or repairs.Overall, Id recommend considering this venue for your wedding reception or party as the overall experience was pleasant and a very good experience.

I went to see the place because a relative is getting married there. I was very impressed with the venue and the staffs willingness to accommodate requests. The building has a few rough edges that could be addressed, but nothing so noticeable as to be a dealbreaker! A memorable location....

Enjoyed watching four trick skiing Indy movie premiers at this venue. Especially liked Colby Eubanks short film Disruptive Innovation. There should be a TV channel for these types of films.

This location has served the community SO well, from Peanut Butter Theatre, to a show wedding venue, to a concert hall. Beautiful and historic! Just love this place!

Great place for a concert

Valet parking made it very easy to start our evening. The room was lit very nicely for my nieces wedding reception. The food was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The bartenders were smiling when we went for drinks and the d.j. (mc) did a really nice job not only with the music but in making announcements and introductions during the entire evening . I genuinely had a great time and would definitely recommend this venue for a special event.

This place was dope! Nice open area for stand up viewing (if thats what your into), the prices werent crazy (i wouldnt say more than a buck or twomore expensive than going to a normal bar) and the theatr itself was just plain nice looking. Beautiful giant sign out front makes it impossible to miss

There for a wedding and reception. Very nice atmosphere. The people were very helpful and polite.

I spent $238 on 4 Patty Griffin floor seats but there werent enough chairs for all of us. The main room was oversold.The stern female promoter told me the balcony is also the floor seats although the main staircase to the balcony was closed off & the upper level was illuminated by two photography light umbrellas which were a huge distraction, due to the light pollution.Despite the fact at least 20 empty chairs were available in the orchestra section the rest of us were forced to stand, or endure the re-amplified sound on pair of QSC speakers in the balcony. Either choice made for a bad concert experience.I cant recommend the 20th Century Theater in Oakley.I think Oakley deserves a 21st Century Theater instead.

Joy Williams put on a tranquil show. I loved how earthly she presented herself and really made me feel comfortable and at ease although I went by myself. Cant wait to catch her once more. Loved Anthony DeCosta as well. True entertainer.

Great venue! Getting a drink however...

20th Century Theater is an amazing wedding venue! Lindsey was incredibly easy to work with, very professional, quick to respond and has a lot of experience. The DJ Mark was fantastic as well; our music, lighting and photobooth were all done perfectly! All around we had an awesome wedding experience and would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone!

The Masons held a Monte Carlo fundraiser there to try to fund one whole airplane for an Honor Flight. Jump n Jive Big Band played the music for dancing. Dance floor is the lower level. This place is wonderful for gatherings, receptions, movies. A real gem for Oakley.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. They were very easy to work with and did a phenomenal job on our wedding. The food was excellent, the venue looked amazing, and the DJ, Mark, was awesome!

Went for a wedding reception. Popular spot over the generations. Quirky. Wedding party was seated on stage, which was a cool feature. Very tall ceilings. Intimate space.Food was okay- you have to use venue catering. Parking is tough to find. No parking lot.

Great theater to go to. Amazing venue with great service and atmosphere. It was like I was at a super fancy restaurant without having to dress up for it. Amazing and beautiful place.

Went to a great amuture comedy show March 2018. Not bad more like 3.5 s & I wouldve given 4s if they had better restrooms & better tables or even table covers. Entry doors needs cleaning.When you go into the ladies restroom, you wanna go to the left side. The right side of it looks like it hasnt been up graded since the 1970s. Parking is 2 s.

My granddaughter had her wedding reception there recently. Food,staff,D.J,and atmosphere was top notch.

Great old timey feel theater.

Beautiful venue was there for my best friends wedding a few years ago. Good service cant tell you anything about pricing all I can say is always ask your sales person and make sure your date is available for whatever date youre looking for. Also remember to be flexible when booking an event Hall no matter what it is. Cuz somebody may have already gotten to that date before you called or made an appointment.

Attended the Halloween Masquerade Ball. So much fun--great venue. Bar service was good, especially for accommodating so many people. Would go again!

Went here for my sister-in-laws wedding. It was a blast and this place was a great place for a party.

Fantastic little venue. Went to see a concert here and the place was perfect for an up-close and intimate feel. Had a great time! Parking is the only issue here, but if you check around on maps and commit to walking just a short ways, its no big deal.

Really cool facility. Lots of personality. I was there for an event. The staff were really easy to work with when we did all our planning. We plan on using them again next year.

In attendance of a show that cannot be talked about, atmosphere was enticing and nostalgic while also being decorated like something directly out of a Skulls movie. Definitely looming forward to the Bi Monthly shows that shall not be discussed.

It is a really cool place to have a wedding and reception.

Its an interesting old building and a great event space. Came here to see a showing of The Man Who Ate New Orleans. Parking is available just off Oakley Square on the side streets. Also, its right across the street from Deweys. Deweys and an independent film showing at the Century Theater makes for a great date night.

Great venue to host an intimate gathering

Fantastic venue for a concert or anything involving music I would think. Coke or water only $2 @ show. Located in a nice older neighborhood.

Cozy and intimate. Great venue for your favorite band. Sounds is really well distributed in the theater and in a great area of Cincinnati

Went here for a KFlay concert. Loud enough for earplugs. Would def prefer this venue over bogarts. Parking can be tricky but its bike/walk friendly area.

Good venue for concerts. Need more bartenders to keep up, lines too long. They didnt have cranberry juice and ran out of Titos vodka. Not as prepared as they shouldve been for the age of crowd attracted by Aja 1/27/18.

Step back in history. But perfect to see ZOSO. Parking not to bad. Wish there were more choices for resturants nearby prior to the show since we traveled from N. of Dayton. It couldve helped if they sold bags of pretzels even. Im not a drinker but they sure had a bar set up. Loved how you can meet band.Get there early if you want up front at the stage cause nobody shares and the tallest people stand up front of course. Cause Im always in the pit riding the rail, LOL.

Beautiful setting for live music. Good selection of drinks but a little pricey. Parking is on the street but you dont have to pay the meter after 6pm. The sound quality was great.

Loved the foyer and main room was nice. Loved the classic feel of the place, until I tried to used the restrooms during intermission. Not enough room to get passed bar and bathrooms too small; definitely needs renovation there.

Great venue for a wide range of important occasions.

Dirty, run down. Broken sprinkler heads. The carpet in the reception hall was disgusting. There were huge stains on the carpet. Large rips everywhere on carpeting, creating many trip hazards. Big chunks of plaster missing on the walls. Tile floor in entrance hall had big squares missing. The dance floor had big chunks of wood missing around the edges. There were missing ceiling tiles in some areas with wires hanging down. Not sure what that was about. Not someplace I would ever recommend to anyone looking to rent a hall. The front of the building wasnt any better.

What a great place for a party or opening function. Went to a Triumph Motorcycle new model reveal and party. Great lighting and sound system and strong drinks. I assume you have to have youre own catering. Have big party or function coming up this would be the place!

Great place to Rock and Roll

This place definitely takes you back a few generations with the Marquee sign and old school design. I was here for the Triumph Unveil party. Id love to know more about the history of the establishment.

Good venue with great sound and decent beer selection. They also have a great liquor selection. Parking can be an issue, but nothing that cant be solved with a short walk.

I cannot recommend 20th Century Productions highly enough! Our wedding was hosted there and everything was top notch! The food was delicious, DJ Mark Santangelo was absolutely awesome, and the staff at the venue made planning the whole event fun and easy! Lindsey was so helpful and easy to deal with, and she had some great suggestions to help make everything run very smoothly. Our guests had a great time and are still talking about how cool the venue was! The photo booth was a hit, the bartenders were friendly and professional, and cleanup was a breeze. If I had it to do all over again, Id choose 20th Century again in a heartbeat.
