This is such a cool concept for a bar! I loved all the old school games from when I grew up too. It was nice to be able to have a drink and play games with my friends. I recommend the snoop dogg as a drink it was delicious and not too sweet.

My new favorite place in Cincy!!! The drinks have fun names like Kevin bacon and there is a candied Bacon as garnish! I got the Game Over. I was sipping the melted ice long after finishing this drink it was so tasty! bathroom chalk walls are so cool! Also the game selection was top notch. I had such a great time.

I went here the other night for the first time and I felt it was just ok. All the bar staff felt impatient and like they didn’t want to be there. The games were fun but not as many as I thought there would be. A few passes around the games and it loses its luster pretty quickly. I thought it was fun for a little while but I wouldn’t hangout there or spend an entire evening.

This is a really neat place to grab some drinks with friends. Theres a wide variety of Pop culture inspired cocktails, although most of them are really fruity and sugary. They also have a diverse selection of domestic and craft brews. The highlight of 16 bit is all of the arcade games and classic video game consoles that are free to play as long as you get a drink. Prices are standard for bars in the area so expect to pay around $6 for a pint and around $10 for a mixed drink. Overall 16-bit was a fun and enjoyable experience.

Really great idea. Everything about this place is cool. Grew up in the 80’s as a teen so very nostalgic for me. The music played was exactly along with the theme. Rap wasn’t really an 80’s arcade “ thing”. Drinks are great. Cool merch too.

Stopped by on our visit from Georgia and let me tell ya- this place rocks. From someone who works at a barcade herself, they definitely know what theyre doing. The games are all top notch and taken care of very well with only a couple out of order (which is hard with retro-esque games and drunk people). Each craft cocktail we got was equally as delicious as the last. The presentation on them was amazing too. (If you get the Game Over you get to keep the cup!)The bartenders are really friendly and welcoming as well. If you’re in the area- definitely swing by, grab a drink, and play some pinball. You wont regret it!

I can’t believe this place exists! It’s like walking back into my teenage years, except with more alcohol and a great deal more women. We would have played for much longer but the ability to play for free, only while you drink, makes it hard to play all day and be able to drive back to the hotel. Also, the two hours parking limit means you have to step away from guitar hero making room for the less qualified crowd. Their selection of retro games is on point. My wife and I played the classic X-Men scroller for a good while. I was quite taken aback by how dedicated she became to beating it.

Went here for the second time last night for my bachelor party and we were not disappointed! I’ll start with the games because that’s obviously the highlight. Their selection of games is unmatched, and includes many different genres. The fact that all of the games besides the pinball machines are complimentary meant my friends and I had a great time playing a variety of games and enjoying our drinks. Speaking of the pinball machines, while they were pay to play my understanding is that all of those quarters go to a charity which I really appreciate. I love a business that gives back. The drinks were also super tasty, we tried several of their signature cocktails including the “game over” and also enjoyed their extensive beer list. Perfect choice for a fun night out!

This is a great place to grab a drink, relax and play various arcade games. This location is better than their Columbus location with plenty of space to move around. There are at least 50 machines that they rotate in and out of. My favorite are the NFL Blitz and NBA Jam classics. They also have console games which are always a blast to play. Great cheap entertainment. Much check out.

Cool concept. But needs to rotate games occasionally. Also most the good games stay crowded or are out of order. I experienced the same issue with the same games a couple years ago. Staff is friendly, but drinks are pricey. We prefer pins mechanical, its the complete opposite. They need to salvage 16-bit and move the few good arcade games over to pins mechanical and just charged the $0.50 to play them. Also pins mechanical could use a couple pool tables. Perhaps one in the basement.

It was a startlingly frigid fall day that I found myself in Over-The-Rhyne; as the sun fell from its proud position above the many beautiful, historic buildings, the air grew fiercely more bitter.I was not quite ready to leave for home, so I looked for one last stop before my journey’s end. I trudged through the cold, hoping to find a place that spoke to my interests. And then, there it was.A November fire, standing strong, and resisting the incredible winds charging down Walnut Street. A flame, a red beacon calling me to the arcade, pulling me through the treacherous weather with a force as though I was stepping through a simple zephyr.“May I see your ID?” He asked. It was a voice that could make earths quake and tyrants quiver. I would show him my ID, and the world if he asked that of me, too.“All the games are free to play,” he explained to me, “with the exception of Pinball for $.50 cents a play.” Forget the games. I mused, at the brief moment our hands grazed one another’s as he returned to me my ID. Tell me the price of your heart.I will never forget the feeling of that dark Autumn day, and the glowing inferno of a man that brought warmth to my 16Bit experience, and with that, my very soul.5 stars, and be sure to try the Hulk Hogan!

They dont have food but the arcades and beer are great. People arent obnoxiously loud. I think they should at least have paper towels around to ensure people help keep the place and tables clean. This is especially true if they allow visitors to bring food in. Not having something to clean hands with is a pain, but theres always the option of washing your hands. I got the vanilla pilsner and a sour beer, not sure which. Also the power ranger was pretty dope and refreshing.

So my daughter and I decided to have a girls night out. We drove 25 min. out of our way just to come to this place and play video games. My daughter was not allowed in because she was 20 years old. I am 40 and I accompanied her to this establishment. No I wouldnt have anything to say otherwise, except there was a baby in the bar as well as a young lady who looked well under the age of 16 who was accompanied by an older gentlemen...who I am assuming was responsible for her. The guy at the door was rude and when I asked him about the baby and the other young lady in the bar, he said it was a managers call but me and my daughter was denied access to this establishment based on age!!! It ruined our night because this was the only reason why we came out!!!I will never patronize this business...and Im guessing if you look like me; you probably shouldnt either! I absolutely HATE Cincinnati and their conservatives ways...people of color have no respect of persons in this town.
