Cute little bar/restaurant/activity center(?) with plenty to do if youve got friends in town or want to have a fun date.Girlfriend took me here on Valentines Day for a little bit of everything. We shared the Mer-Mans World punch bowl (pretty bomb) and some wings (good, but nothing special). Got some entrees to water down our punch-filled stomachs. Overall a pretty decent dining experience.Theyve got an area where you can check out some random, classic board games which we really enjoyed. Played a bit of Battleship in between the occasional bite & sip. After paying the bill we checked out what else they had to offer. The pricing for their various activities seemed reasonable. Attempted a round of bowling, but once we realized one of their karaoke rooms was empty - we couldnt help ourselves to an hour of singing.Great times were had. Could easily see ourselves coming back again or bringing some friends :)

Definitely a fun and social place to hang as the name suggests. My group and I ordered one of the large punch bowls, and although the price seemed a little high... once we tasted it we realized it was a good bang for the buck. LOTS OF BOOZE.There was the option to play bags by our table or use the decks of cards around the area. Also, if it hadn’t been a busy Saturday we would have loved to go bowling. The location is enormous! There must have been over 1000 people inside, but still plenty of space to move and hangout.

REALLY really fun spot for a random weekend afternoon or a date night! Ive been on both a Sunday afternoon and Friday night, and even though Friday night was more-crowded, it wasnt obnoxiously crowded. The place is *giant*, so the crowd gets spread out pretty well.Even on Friday night, there were 2 of us and we were able to bowl without a wait ($12 per person, per hour), which was shocking. The nachos are my favorite (they dont skimp on ANYthing), and the french fries are amazing, as are the tacos, but I wouldnt recommend the ceviche, as it was some shrimp in lemon juice with a handful of chips.Cocktails are also 100% worth it, and even though I was skeptical about their Manhattan at first, it actually wound up being pretty amazing. If you go on the weekend though, and want to sit at a table and not the bar, be sure to make a reservation!

Came here for a holiday party and it was excellent! The food in the buffet bar was hot, fresh and yummy. The cocktails were good as well I started with the strawberry daiquiri, and my husband had an old fashioned. They were both good. The service was great, very attentive and they had great suggestions on new drinks to try.The place is HUGE! It is definitely a great place to throw a party, there were at least 4 other parties going on and you could not even tell. In our section there was pool, darts, Scrabble, and a couple of arcade games which were pay to play. It was fun and we look forward to going back.

Fun place for the games! Very nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very informative & knowledgeable of the menu. My only complaint was my food. I ordered the wings, when I bit into them I expected them to be HOT, & when I say I hot Im not talking about flavor hot, Im talking about heat HOT. The wings were warm. Like they had been sitting for awhile. I ate them w/o complaint for I am not the one to send food back unless its just horrible. Overall nice place!. Ill be going back :)

If not there is a whole other side where you just find your own table but it does get packed.

PBS is basically all the awesome parts of a restaurant, bar, and arcade combined into one massive building. They have at least 10 different rooms all with interesting decor and lighting. We played the life-size Scrabble (for free) for an hour and loved it! Other activities include karoake, bowling, arcade games, pool, shuffle board, and virtual reality games!! Some games are free, others have fees. Didnt try the food but it looked delicious although a bit pricey. Music provided perfect vibes with great sound system in all rooms. The staff is amazingly friendly... we even got a personal tour when we walked in. Will absolutely be going back with friends. This place is perfect for big celebrations, happy hours, or any group event. Awesome addition to the neighborhood that will be competing with Emporium for business across the street.

This review is for the bowling:If I could give this place negative stars, I would. It is genuinely the worst bowling alley Ive ever come across by a factor of millions. I would rather sit and stare at a blank wall for an hour than bowl here.I like to bowl for fun. I dont care if I suck or do well. Just out to have a good time. But this place left me frustrated over something I never knew I could be frustrated over. See list below:1) The lane is extremely dented. The ball does not roll properly. You can hear all of the dents as the ball rolls over them.2) There is very little, if any, oil on the lane. Any spin causes it to go immediately into the gutter. This completely destroys any other way of bowling besides throwing it straight down the middle.3) The pins are on strings which changes the way they react to getting hit by the ball. Again, completely changing the game.4) And this is the most frustrating thing, the ball rack is in the way of the bowling lane. It literally prevents you from bowling correctly because it literally blocks the way. Every turn my foot would hit the stupid thing and throw me off. I dont even care if I suck, but if the bowling lane is blocked, then Im going to be frustrated. See the attached photo.Never ever, ever go to this place if you want to bowl. I never realized you could screw up making a bowling alley so bad. It seems pretty simple to get right.

Ive been here several times and i normally have a good experience. This time was a little different. My main complaint is i felt bartending service was a little lack luster. Even though it wasnt crowded it took forever to get someone attention for service. Was never asked if i needed anything else even after clearly the drink and food was done. Overall felt displaced.I going to count this as a one off because normally i have a great time here. We went to check it out and it has several levels / places to order food and drinks. The first floor diner was quiet. An area of the first floor and second (arcade) were closed for separate private events, expect that in summer after work hours. The happy hour drinks were good and our server was fast. We initially were excited by the Shuffleboard but it’s $5 per timed game. I got the superfood grain bowl, it was big, and everything in it was fresh. My friend got the Knockoff Burger and enjoyed it too. The music was pretty low and the windows were closed with AC on. With the tall ceilings and dark interiors it had a boarding school feel to me.

Update: Changed to 5 stars after going back and having Sunday brunch there. Service was great, good was fantastic. Chicken waffle was sweet, spicy, and crispy. The monkey bread French toast was work going back to eat (makes as great appetiser). The hoisin sriracha fries are really fantastic. Usually I have loaded fries, but these kept the crunch and brought a nice heat with the Fresno peppers. Fernet shot in the coffee is an interesting breakfast cocktail, and the bloody Mary bar was extremely well stocked with all sorts of goodies._____Original review:This place is gigantic. Different rooms have different themes with a bar game in each room. Drink list a good, but not great, prices are normal for West Loop, service was fine.Problem is going to be private events renting out the cool rooms all the time. Lots of options for entertaining a large group. Two items bothered me. 1: The microphones in our karaoke room did not function well. 2: The food. Our group paid for a taco bar—very tasty. While the taco fillings were generous, they were parsimonious with the flour tortillas. How the heck were we supposed to eat the tacos? Also, there were lots of leftovers which management did not let us take home.

As always there’s a bit of a wait with any place that is busy as they are, and be prepared to repeatedly ask for some things. It’s nice that they have such a variety of entertainment, but with that said karaoke rooms get very hot and you have to open the doors (this led to some pretty rude customers closing it repeatedly and arguing with us even though we were told it was ok). Manager had very good customer service, but I wouldn’t go back since it ended the night on a sour note. Try a different karaoke place if that’s what you want to enjoy

So she was looking forward to eating and having a shake but we ended up leaving because it was 9 45 and no one came over and said anything to us. We had some time to kill before dinner at one of the better restaurants on the block, so we decided to stop in here and see what all of the fuss was about. Turns out that there are a lot of private parties on a Thursday night afterwork and we were told to go to the back bar, which was totally cool, we only wanted some drinks...the trick was of course finding our way thru the maze of closed off areas to make it to the back bar. But once we did we were able to enjoy the grandeur of the place. We sat at the bar and I proceeded to order several of their punches, first the Featured Punch, all I remember is that it was good. The next two rounds consisted of the Its a Mer-Mans World punch, where you could really taste the alcohol. It was good, which is why I got myself a second one. We tried Chips N Dip, not the greatest, a little like some ranch dressing with kettle chips. Next time we come we might even get to partake in some activities.

However, this place had so much more space than I thought it would and so much more to do. I took part in the bowling, virtual reality gaming stations, and arcade areas. Those were all very fun. Very disappointed. We walked upstairs to the round bar. Not very busy with 6 bartenders. So we stand in front of the bartender making drinks for tables I supposed. We stood there a good 5 minutes. He made eye contact with the 3 of us several times. Not once did he acknowledge us or said you ordered on the other side or something. So we finally went around where the other 5 bartenders were taking orders, not super busy because we were able to walk to the bar and actually lean on it. Another good 20 minutes go by. Again eye contact but no one even said Ill be with as soon as I can nothing. We actually started to google where to go since we felt ignored. So finally we were seconds from leaving when JR came and asked us what we wanted to drink. Hadnt seen him since he was on the opposite side of bar, while the other bartenders kept ignoring us. Thank you JR, for helpings us spend money there. Definitely not going back. I get it bartenders do get busy but at least acknowledge customers so we dont feel ignore.

The section was conducive to sitting and talking as well as sharing fun play time with colleagues to do some team building. Its a great place for meetings if youre not hungry! The food was horrible. All of the foods tasted like they took microwaved freezer foods and assembled them on serving trays even the desserts. All I can say is Ive tasted better frozen food. At least use top quality if thats how you plan to operate your kitchen.
