This is a great small storefront theater that is right next to the Berwyn Red Line stop. The show that I saw was wonderfully done. Theres also a cute little bar attached to it.

I have seen a dozen plays at Steep over the last 8 years. They are well directed, often cleverly staged and well performed. This past year my wife and I got a season pass. We were never disappointed. E will renew in 2019.

Finally made it in! Super-hot storefront! RED REX was riveting. Acting superb. All-round hot sh!t!

Steep Theater is always cutting edge. Great acting, but sometimes shows have you wondering what were they thinking?. Never dull and added space will create a warmer waiting area. Right under the EL tracks and easy parking.

Solid production value every time. Always an interesting selection of shows which are usually cast with very talented Chicago actors. Very diverse ensemble and excellent development of new work. This is a splendid, hidden, neighborhood gem providing thought provoking theatre that is well produced in a small space.

If youre in the mood to sit in a chair and stare at something amazing, go to this place.

This is a Great Intimate theater! Ive only seen the play Hinter and found the actors and actresses did really well. Im not a hugh play goer, but I still appreciate talent. This place has talent and a concession stand w/ suggested donations. Great theater company in Edgewater.

Have subscribed for years. Everything Steep presents is at the least, Good. Most of it is Very Good, and some of it is Great. Season pass is one of the best deals in Chicago theater

Went to watch the show Hinter for a class assignment- very professional theater and interesting show. There were not many young people among audiences.

Big fan of Steep Theatre. Talented, committed actors . And the stage design is phenomenal. The stage design is really a character in these shows.

I had just imigrated from africa. I is 76 years old my birttday two days ago. I went here for a summer camp. Age 6-8 they said. But no way. I went and all was fine very nice enviment and was niceplcae.
