Good food and fun times!

A good Mexican place to hang out..good food, good music and friendly staff. Must Try - their huge margaritas on the rock (a little pricey, but worth it)

I frequent Lalos and specifically enjoy their Latin dance night. We came in on Wednesday 5/22 - party of 9 after dinner, around 830p. We requested a table and were denied after stating we were just there to drink and dance. NINE PEOPLE. So we inquired about when the dance floor and DJ would start and we were told about 10pm. Because we wouldn’t be seated we opted to go across the street and have a few rounds and wait until the DJ was in the building. We left and came back, 9 deep, and were turned away BECAUSE ONE PERSON HAD ON NIKE GYM SHOES!! Are you kidding me? This is hardly an upscale dance club AND it was Wednesday and hardly crowded. I have to patronized Lalos too long to let this slide. The manager was a joke and claimed he was only following the owners rules. When asked to speak to the owner, we were told he wasn’t around. Go figure! We left dinner with the intentions of having a fun night of dancing and that was halted. I’m super disappointed and offended. I could assume there was a hint of racism but I’d hate to think that was the case. Either way, I will be calling tomorrow to speak to this owner about this ridiculous policy.

BEWARE. I’ve visited this place several times and come to this conclusion. . .Depending on what you look like or what day it is???You might pay $31 and change for 1 drink or 3 drinks....even water might be $3 for darker people.

The place is really colorful and entertaining. The environment is very fun and the music is really great. It gets pretty packed after 11 and super tight...gets really hard to dance.As for the food...I was not impressed. Definitely overrated. The prices are pretty steep for tamales and tacos. The flavor was good but tamales were a bit soggy? I usually judge a place by their rice. Thats my first impression and give off of what the place would be like. The rice was also a bit soggy and hardly had any flavor...Also service wasnt very friendly...ok in attentive but if your getting a tip please be friendly or shed a smile or at least a hello!

5 stars for the food and the restaurant in the afternoon. No idea about the club at night. It looks like a small place for a club tho

The steak was delicious

They didn’t let us sit in because we were wearing hoodies and sneakers and didn’t have our IDs after we repeatedly told the security guard we were only getting food. Also, there were many other people sitting and dining in while wearing the same thing as us. Horrible service. If I could give this zero stars, I most definitely would.

Its one thing to run a nightclub with a full bar and DJ playing loud music. If youre looking to go to a nightclub, these are reasonable things to expect once youre there. Its another thing to run a table serviced Mexican restaurant at the same time as a room full of revelers are bumping up against one another, and the servers.Servers were constantly cutting through the crowd lugging big trays of hot food or glasses, often enlisting the help of security to help disperse the thick crowd in front of them. When security has to take their attention away from keeping everyone safe to ensure Table 5 gets their tortilla chips, thats the point where the kitchen needs to close.I dont expect to do my taxes in the middle of a mosh pit, nor should I expect wait staff to deliver tacos as a crowd of people jams to the DJ.

50 dollars for a pitcher of sangria is highway robbery. Price wasnt listed on menu and I felt taken advantage of. I love Hispanic food and culture but pricing is unreasonable.

The location in Schaumburg is way better
