We rode in a 45 minute Uber to get here. The place was closed on a Friday night when we arrived at 11:30pm. There was also a group of girls who was waiting to be picked up because they also unfortunately made the trip to come as well. Sketchy neighborhood also. There was supposedly an event too, who tf knows what happed...

The first time I went was for a Foam Party and it was really fun with good music. The next time my friends I were trying to get in before 11 for free entry, and they let us all in, except one who has a boyish haircut and is bisexual. They didnt explicitly say that they were prohibiting them entry due to being bisexual, but we felt that it was pretty likely that they were discriminating. My other friend tried to stand up for them to the security person, so they got into an argument. Then, a few weeks later we gave Volkan another chance because it was free before 11 again, but the security guard didnt let in my friend who he had argued with. It was pretty ridiculous. I do not recommend this place.

$30 entering price??? Best clubs in Chicago don’t charge that much I don’t know what’s special for that place but $30 means 5 beers

Not only did they never answer their phone for questions about the night, but there website advertised 25, yet they charged 35 at the door. I dont mind paying , but the fact they did nothing to correct the issue at the door or their website was a letdown. Ive been to better clubs where they treat people with a lot more respect. Looks like here they forgot how important the customers really are.

Super mean & rude staff. Guys on the dance floor will LITERALLY grab you away from your partner and grind on you. Disgusting place with HORRIBLE employees!! Never go there.

We went there to dance tropical music because they advertised that there will be 2 areas for dancing, usually one of them is more tropical music, we were there for an hour an a half and nothing, so I asked the person at the door it was almost midnight, and he said that it will open IF the place got packed, but is likely that well open it after midnight so waited till 12:30 and decided to leave... We went to Transit Night Club SO MUCH BETTER!!!So, to the people from Volkan, if theyre going to advertise 2 dance rooms then make sure you have 2 freaking rooms open!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Worst experience I have ever had. The bartenders had no organization and over charged me for drinks that I did not order. When trying to talk to them they had no idea what they were talking about they were confused over the easiest tasks. Get new bartenders! The whole establishment was a giant mess. The security was overly rude and incompetent. Don’t waste your time and money here.

At first it was nice. The owner made an exception on the ticket prices since we had were a large group.But the bathrooms are just nasty.The securities are unnecessarily rude.And the bar service by the entrance is ridiculous.The music service is great.The service just sucks. Can’t say I’ll be going back any soon.

Went 3 weeks ago for juke party, it was okay everyone was dancing and diverse, but they played a lot of Latin music like don’t have the theme as juke jam if you not gonna play juke music all night. They charged 20$ however no re entry even to drop my purse off. Rude all over but the club was decent

If I could them negative stars I would. We arrived in a group of 20 after verifying THREE times that the people under 21 could get in. We spent $700 on transportation to her here and over an hour of our time getting here. Just to be stuck outside until our pick up to me(4am) I asked to speak to a manager and they just kept ignoring me. The most unprofessional dance esstablishment I have ever been to. We also discovered there was people under 21 already inside the club.I ignored the low star rating hoping id have a better experience but no. I highly encourage no one to ever come to this place.

Bad bunny concert was a disaster it wasnt even worth it VERY unorganized and the whole staff was rude and when you asked them something they didnt know anything about anything. There is absolutely no point of going to an event here because they will over book it get your money and you will be hot, uncomfortable and annoyed from bumping with everyone, this is definitely a safety hazard, yall need to get it together!!

I went there on the website it talks about the different variety of music being African American the only thing they played the whole time was reggaetone. Dont promote trap,and hip hop if you only play 3 songs the whole 5 hours Im there like....if you prefer hip hop DO NOT go here I literally had to talk to the manager it was ridiculous!!

The changes made to this place since the last time I was there a few years ago are great! I really recommend this place for a great time with your friends on a night out.

Don’t come unless you get a free ticket beforehand. The mixes for songs were absolutely terrible. The club was nowhere near half filled and I still had to pay $20. I will never ever ever EVER come here again

The only good thing was the music everything else is horrible drinks are to expensive a bucket is 48 to 52 dollars depending what kind of beer it is . Tequila shots are not even full shots really bad service and one 2 of the securities tried staring a fight with me and my girlfriend I went yesterday Friday night there was a short Spanish girl who said my girlfriend was drinking when she never was and the tall Spanish guy tried fighting me instead of trying to work things out . horrible place period I will never go again .

Horrible experience!! It was overcrowded and there was no air conditioner when it was 80 degrees outside. Security was unprofessional, the floor was wet, water was $5 and people kept throwing beer! Do not waste your money!

We went last night and it was blast, but dont get me wrong it just depends on the group of people you go with. We been to this location a couple of times but only because its only 18+... Service sucks, the employees there are horrible a few of us went to the bar trying to get some drinks and I literally was standing there for about 5 min trying to get a drink with only one other guy there trying to get a drink. Literally the bar tender saw us standing there and she was just sitting there in her phone.

They bring good artists and bands every once in a while. I dont go there unless that is the case. There was a leak on the roof right over the main dance floor last time I was there (7/16). The bathrooms are not in good shape. Theyre small and can handle only a fraction of the people needing to use them. They have a no reason entry policy so make sure you dont to go back out once theyre in! Bouncing off of that, make sure to call and ask if they will have coat check open because if they dont youll be stuck holding onto your jacket for the entire night.

I was there on Halloween, and I had to buy a three buckets of beer. For one table. . I think the that place is a ripped of. A Ben there a lot. And I think this time will be the last. The place its ok. But a ripped off. ..

On events they only play one type of music and they repeat songs. It gets old too fast. They need a wider variety of music and actually open the second room. Not coming again. Tooooo ratcheeet

Rude all around service starting from the door all the way to the bar. In my experience, the crowd isnt as good as this place tries to get people hyped up about. You can see the neighborhoods around it are incredibly shady and since parking at the club is expensive, you have to park there. My buddy and I almost got jumped by about 5 guys simply because they were being assholes.

Two guy friends and I wanted to enjoy a night out online it said cover was 10$ when we got there they said 20 and it took around 30 minutes for them to allow us in with the cover of 10. Online its advertised as closing at 4am- they stopped the music at 1:15 without warning and starting telling people to get out. It was supposed to be a snapchat party but the DJ didnt seem like he knew much about tech. Later in the night the DJ put on his story that he had to close it down and get out because it was lame. He later deleted the snap from his story.Pros: friendly security. Thats about all I can say for my experience here.

Terrible service all around. Valet parking was a nightmare, the inside was disgusting, security was rude as hell, drinks were a rip off, the amount of 18 year olds on drugs was ridiculous... the list goes on and on. Never coming back here again. Just awful....

I went there last night for the first time & I had a lot of fun ofcourse. BUT Im only giving 2 stars because there service SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS! VIP was cheap compared to other clubs but even their VIP sucks. Lady in the bathroom was completely RUDE and told me to move from a dirty ass chair cause I tried fixing my heel and looked at me like a dirty homeless that couldnt sit in that chair for 2 secs lol securities in the entrance wouldnt let my friend who was celebrating her 21st bday drink Bc she had to wait till her bday to be over to drink which DOESNT make sense. Lmao we literally had to take that to a manager so she could drink. Place was a fun environment other than their service thats super shittyyyy. Hire people that look like they love their job and will make people wanna come back! No wonder you got such bad reviews!!!! And btw customers that waste money like we did should always get treated well for the money we make you. I will never return there.

The volkan club is the worst place Ive been to in my entire life!!! Over selling the VIP section to the point where people were fainting or fighting. I paid over $100 dollars to see my favorite artist (Bad Bunny) and couldnt stay to see him preform or meet him, because of the heat generating from everyone pushing and the waitresses constantly passing behind us, where there was clearly no space. Staff was rude and no body could seem to agree with what line everyone was suppose to be in. The safety aspect of the section,we were In, was seriously scary to the point where if something did happen I am positive we wouldnt have been able to get out. This place is a safety issue and a waste of money. Please refrain from going if your safety means anything to you. If there was negative stars as an option I would rate this at -5stars.
