Its a bar. Its a pretty good bar. There is really nothing too special about the specialty drinks but they are not bad. I really wish that they had some beers on tap instead of just in bottles. If you are in the area or looking for a place to hit up before a Giants game this is a good option and better than the bars right next to the ballpark. Its large and the wait for drinks isnt too bad.

Amazing disco club. On top of celeste, you need a separate stamo to get in there. The crowd is young, beautiful and there to enjoy the night. The music is disco, obviously, but not exclusively (they played some minimal eletro as well). The only issue is the bar, slightly understaffed so the wait is long. Once its your turn, order the disco balls drink (approx. 20 usd). It makes a great conversation opener.

Its been a while for me. Had a great time, thanks for the hospitality. Two outstanding great, guys are Joe and Danny. Joe always stayed focused and kept track of all guests. He was very attentive and polite.

Super fun! The crowd is incredibly diverse, and no one really cares how or if you fit in, simply because it doesnt matter. Everyones there to dance the night away to awesome music. DNA lounge is really spacious, so it was perfect.

Last night I was talking with my friend about the last new years eve party. I really miss those days! Has a great time there and we will be there when they open again after this pandemic.

So fun! Its a bit small on the dance floor, but the other levels offer a place to go cool off and get some space. I went with a couple of girlfriends, and we were impressed by the professional staff and security. Felt very safe the whole time!Great music! Was disco in the beginning of the night, and kind of wandered into more techno-esque by the end. Would have liked more classic 70s, but thats just a personal preference lol. Overall great experience!

Disco may look cool, but dont be fooled. The place is empty and not any fun. Security was a hastle to get through only to enter a mostly empty club. And this was at 12am too. Not a fan of this place

Went here for my wifes B.D. with friends and we had a blast. The servers were awesome, management was great and the music was on the spot. We will deff be back for sure.Thank you to all at Disco, we had a groovy time lol

Awesome dance club for Disco (Fri & Sat) and 80s (Thurs) music with light up dance floor and huge disco balls. One of a kind in the US. Place is small so must come early and reserve online. If not, you are unable to enter until midnight and only if there is room. I recommend for any disco lover!!!! My favorite place in Chicago. Period.

The DJ ruined my night and my birthday. The DJ was disrespectful and accused me of being with someone I didn’t know. Apparently you can’t request songs even on your birthday. Her tone was off putting and inexcusably aggressive. Won’t be going back.

Literally called, emailed, called again, and emailed again, finally got an email from Cedric at Disco and then got ghosted. Emailing normal people at 12 am doesnt seem to work for you guys.How hard is it to give someone your money for a bottle service / bday party? Had about a party of 20 and ended up going to Clutch, where we had a great time.The girls voicemail on the Celeste site phone number doesnt appear to answer anything. The disco website was the only way to get through, and even then couldnt get a straight answer.

It was extremely over crowded, I could BARELY move on the disco floor. The floor lights weren’t even on. I barely enjoyed myself, I hope the next time I go it’ll be a better experience.

Went to this place, some guys attacked my friend. security was there and saw the attack. They did nothing but watch it. We asked them and they seem to ignore the activity happened. Decided to go to a different bar. Would not come back to a bar where i might get stabbed and security would do nothing about it.

I love this bar!! Great drink specials.The drinks are usually just perfect or strong (which isnt that bad of an idea to me) and they are affordable!Just go next weekend and have the time of your life!

Can’t beat it! Lights, glam, disco, soul, funk! This is truly a destination for great night of fun and mingle with a diverse and international crowd. This trumps the clubs in LA, NYC, Shanghai, BJ, Paris ... just the best vibes here. Props to the organizer and dJ selection. The decor is a perfect 10

Update. I originally gave this place 5 stars and then one. Now I’ve settled at 4 stars! The good bad and ugly aside this place is always interesting and does satisfy my Disco fix!

So we came in they didnt say anything. So you assume you can just walk up to the cool disco club upstairs.... But then they tell you you need a stamp on you wrist to get to the disco floor. When you come back they tell you you need to check your coat. Which is another wait after the initial line to get in, and $5 to check your coat, which is fine if they told you up front that to get to the floor that is the reason for the name of the bar you have to do all these things... But then when you get up there you see a good portion of the people who either have their coat on or have a pile of coats.... Im sorry but it is winter in Chicago and you need to tell me up front if I need to hand my coat over.... But also make everyone do . They also didnt tell us as we came that we needed plastic cups for our drinks so they just took them out of our hands and poured them into plastic without telling us why until after all of out friends complained. Its not worth coming unless your are willing to jump through the hoops they want you to. Disclosure at the door would be nice.

The bouncer refused me entry, even after providing my out of state ID, and additional forms. He continued to refuse me entry even though I’m well over the 21 year old age limit. This establishment is very “exclusive” and racist. I wouldn’t recommend coming here - there are plenty of better bars to go to right across the street.

I had high hopes, but its a long fall from grace.My friends and I visited Celeste/Disco on a Saturday night. After ordering drinks from the bartender, we waited 25 minutes for him to serve 5-6 other customers before making our drinks (even though it wasnt crowded). Later, when I received the bill, my card was not on it and I tried to get his attention, but he acted like he had given it to me already. I realized later that he stole my card.I also went inside Disco and had left to go the bathroom. When I returned, security refused me entry, stating that he had only let in three black girls and I wasnt one of them. He said that I was welcome to go to the rooftop. We went to the rooftop, where we were personally assigned security to watch us while we were there.The black male security guard, later asked us to get our stuff and leave, despite the fact that I hadnt done anything inappropriate. Embarrassed, we complied without hostility and descended the stairs to the exit, passing a crowd of people. My best friend, who is white, noticed that the security made an effort to stand between her and myself, to make it appear that he was only kicking the black women out.There are many great examples of inclusive places in River North. This place is not one of them. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy, based on the treatment that we received.
