Life changing event. Inside the second floor bathroom in the second and a half stall is a portal. If you walk through the portal saying Ed Paschkes name you will end up at 0°0010.4S 0°0021.0W, the true location of Atlantis. Ed Paschke is actually an ancient alien that built the great underwater city. This art center is actually a temple leading true believers to the truth. Join us.

Beautiful art spread about in a minimalistic way. The work of Paschke is quite stunning and colorful. A great place to not only learn about a new artist but also for social media pictures and photography. The employee is very kind and welcoming. Definitely come here if you want something to do and have no cash or just want to learn about another great artist!

Beautiful space full of amazing art ran by very dedicated staff. Paschke’s studio reconstructed gives a lot of insight into the artist. Seeing unfinished work was great into understanding the artists process. Highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this place while I was in the area. Right off the Jefferson Park blue line stop. Beautifully maintained well curated gallery. Free and open to the public, great way to spend an hour.

A must see museum in Chicago! Ed Paschke was a brilliant part of the Chicago imagist movement and a true educator. Free entrance, and consider visiting a few times as the works shown are rotated every few months.

The Ed Paschke Art Center is a moving memorial to the path-breaking work of the Chicago artist whose name it bears. Comprising a careful selection from his large body of work and a faithful reconstruction of his Howard Street studio, it reminds us of the blazing light that can be cast by a modest, gentle soul. The Center is in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Chicago, a bit distant from the usual museum route, but more than worth the time getting there.

This place is just across the street from Hair Express, so I stooped in there after my haircut. Great addition to the neighborhood. I especially liked room that looked like Pashke’s art studio.

A unique museum for a unique artist. Some interesting scheduled programs as well, but the Ed Paschke art and the recreation of his studio make a visit worth the trip.

The Ed Paschke Art Center is where art comes to life. The Words and Music series they host is my favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Its free, but so popular. Im always excited when I can get in. And so fabulous that I dont even mind the 30-minute commute on the Blue Line from downtown. Billed as a live musical biography, this program never disappoints. This week Nicholas Tremulis interviewed and accompanied punk-rock pioneer, Jon Langford.Langford a transplanted Welshman, charmed me and his audience with his stories about Leeds and the beginning of the punk rock scene. This was my favorite Words and Music segment yet. As a writer, and lover of words, I took particular pleasure in Langfords lyrics. His country-folk ballad with bite The Country Is Young was one of his songs that spoke to me.Ive lived in Chicago for more years than I willing to admit, but I never had such up-close and personal access to such top musicians and artists. EPAC is a vibrant and welcoming space and their intimate and lovely gatherings are experiences I treasure. Vesna and Lionel offer their community a gift : The chance to connect and engage with great artists and great art.
