It is not that so big but my kids really had fun with this place. Ideal not just for kids but for parents bonding too. This is the nicest indoor childrens playground in town. Such a very fun place to bring your kids. I highly recommend this place to all parents.

My kids always having fun when we were here. They love playing and jumping around the trampoline. The place was very spacious and huge. They had a snack bar inside, so while the kids play, I was sitting having a hotdog and coffee. They also had a separate playroom for toddlers. The best place for the kids to have some fun and play.

Very clean. Lots of cute stuff for them to play with. I wouldve liked more physically challenging things for them. The winters are long and it would be nice to have a more physical place for the kids to play.

This playroom offers any kind of play activities my son truly enjoys. The staff are very friendly, and the place is quite well preserved. Best to come in on a weekday so your kids can enjoy the quietness and do without the confusion on weekends. We go there regularly, and the kids are always asking to go back. Nice to find a place in the city where the kids can be protected and have enjoyment.

This is one of the best places to take young children. The place is mainly suited for toddlers and young children up to the age of maybe 6? There is also quite a decent sized area for infants where older children are not allowed to enter. The entry price is not that cheap as some reviewers have mentioned, however, if you do the unlimited full-day option I think it’s quite worthwhile even if you just spend 3 hours there.

Great place for our sons 2nd birthday party!all aspects of party planning, and all of the children and adults had a great time! The space is large enough for very big groups, and there is lots of space to play and mingle. Well definitely be back to play again - I highly recommend

I loved this place and I am so happy that it is open play all day! Theres is a huge variety of toys, everything is super clean and they reorganized every 30 minutes. I could see how passionate they are in doing their job. The owner also is a very lovely lovely and really cares about the playroom and the kids. Wonderful place for kids!

I brought my kids to this playroom a week ago. Both of them were enjoyed playing. I really like this place for my kids because it’s very safe, clean, and the staff was very friendly. The facilities they had were amazing. The educational toys they had was impressive. It is good to know that your kids enjoy playing and at the same time they were learning. Highly recommended to all moms!

My niece reserved this space for her sons first birthday. It was perfect for a party to be enjoyed by adults and children.

I got my bellybutton pierced here. the place is nice and everyone is friendly, but whoever pierced my bellybutton pierced it way to close because the skin was so little between the piercing and my stomach. after a while i had to take it out because the skin was so little it would’ve ripped.

If you really wanted different styles of shorts and shirts at a very low cost, you can find it all here. This is the best place for shopping, thus we usually visit this place every weekend. We were not getting confused about looking for great dresses because staff members were willing to assist us. It was really a nice day!

My son loves Purple Monkey Playroom, its the perfect place to get out of the house on those cold dreary days. Its got a lot of toy options for my son to explore and keep him entertained. I love the no shoes policy, and that its easy to keep track of him as he runs all over.

Such a fun play space and the owner is just the sweetest. Love her special events with other local businesses.

It is what it is.. clean safe place for Parents to do play dates and birthdays for toddlers. We were there for 2 birthdays and events were great time for kids. They do sell snacks ask upfront.

The playroom was clean, neat, well organized, efficient amount of toys for the children. The play areas were spacious and adequate. Bathroom big, spacious, kitchen area was descent as well.

My daughter begs me to go here ALL THE TIME! Toys galore, a couch and coffee for mama to relax, and a morning well spent. Prices are comparable to other indoor play spaces and it’s a godsend on a rainy/cold day when you don’t want your own living room destroyed. The place is clean and tidy.

I will give it a 3 stars due that the place is relatively small. However kids seems to love this place. For me, place is kind of expensive for what it has to offer (specially for babies that do not crawl yet is $15 a day while other places is free). But staff was super nice.

Decided to give the purple monkey playroom a try... nowhere on their website did they say they were closed for the day so loaded up the two year old...got down there.. and they are closed for a cake camp... awesome ..If youre running a play please please make sure if youre closing for the day that its clear on your website, nothing is worse than putting a two-year-old in the car to take her out of a car just to put her back in her car because the place is closed

Phenomenal playroom! Great prices and hours, and clean facility/toys. My guy has loved purple monkey since he was about 8 months old, hes almost 3 and still enjoys playing here. Staff are friendly and helpful for answering questions!

Purple monkey is a nice playground to bring the little ones when the winter cold or summer hot weather dont allow you to stay outside but still want to have some fun out the house. The place is small but you can have a nice time.

With a newborn and a two year old about to turn three, I knew that I needed a birthday party that would be fun and EASY! Purple Monkey Playroom is just the spot! With affordable birthday packages with several options, it is the BEST place to have a party. My daughter’s birthday was at 10 on a Sunday (they are flexible with times). We arrived at about ten to ten, and Jeanetta was waiting for us ready to help. She set up everything and was a great help throughout the party. Everyone had a fabulous time, and when it was time to go, there was no clean up required! We just left. It was amazing. Normally at birthday parties, I’m stressed the entire time, trying to make sure that everything is going smoothly. Jeanette took that pressure off and I was able to enjoy my daughter’s party! The price is great, the employees and owner are wonderful, and best of all, the kids loved the party! Some kids even cried when the party was over because they were having such a great time! I highly recommend Purple Monkey Playroom. This is Chicago’s hidden gem!

My mother-in-law, children and I were on a long lay over. We wanted a place to let the children play. The purple sock monkey was a perfect place. The owner and staff is very friendly, the playroom was safe and the toys are sanitized every night. We loved our experience and would go back again!

Purple monkey play room made my daughters 1st birthday a success! Owner is very friendly ,very helpful staff , and the lady that helped me the day of my daughters party was awesome so helpful very experienced and professional. This place is great...for very small kids. The age range probably maxes out at 2 years. There are only a few spots for adults to sit (unless you love tiny chairs). Babies are side by side with toddlers and there is no specific area for them. The space is small and parking is tough to find.

Their family space, appropriate-varying toy selection is satisfyingly accomodating. Their staff is very attentive, willing to support their customers, it is a great family space.

My daughter LOVES Purple Monkey! As a toddler, we once let her lead the way on a family walk and she walked directly to the door! We had her 3rd birthday party (with the Musical Storytime add-on) here and it was so fun for the kids and adults.

Parents, meet your new mini vacation away from home! I am a stay at home mom looking for a job and I got sick of being at home on the computer watching my 3 year old son bounce around and tear apart our home. I took him to Purple Monkey and he was occupied while the staff was kind and offered me a table and chair along with a rocker for my newborn daughter. It was today ( the eve of summer) and so there were not many kids around which was also nice. He ran around and jumped and played on the slide and the play hut. I was highly productive and he got his energy out. Another quality point about this place is the fact they have complimentary coffee which is gold for an exhausted mother like myself. If you are in transition of being at home and working or a working at home parent this place should be your friend! Abundant parking, security, wi fi- all the amenities that is needed. I have yet to try out the additional events that they have planned but the initial visit will keep me coming back for those events. I highly recommend this place.

I held my daughters 2nd birthday party at Purple Monkey and cannot say enough good things about it. The owners/employees are extremely helpful and friendly, and when I spoke to them on the phone, they told me everything I needed to know in order to make the party fun and successful. First of all, they charge one flat rental fee for the space, and it is a completely private party. They do have plenty of options for add-ons, but you are free to bring in your own food, cake, decorations, and entertainment with NO extra charges whatsoever. I wanted to purchase their pizza add-on but needed it customized. They were very helpful in making this happen. Second of all, when we arrived, everything was set up and ready to go. Plenty of table space to seat my guests (around 40 people), table cloths and tableware (all included by the way), and additional tables/counter space to fit main entrees and all the appetizers I brought it. Third of all, the party assistant, Sarah, was extremely kind and helpful, making it clear that she was there to assist with everything to make the party run smoothly, and I was there to socialize, have fun, and spend time with my kids. She helped with everything: setting up all the food, rotating pizza boxes as they became empty, displaying the cake on its own table, keeping track of time, serving, cleaning up, condensing leftovers into containers, putting gifts into large bags for easy transport, setting up goodie bags for the kids to see/take, and even washing the serve ware I brought. Finally, when it was time for the party to end, I didnt want to be the party pooper, and as if she read my mind, she announced that the party time was coming to an end and that the kids can get in line for their goody bags. Everything I needed to take home was waiting by the front door for easy transport to my car. Overall, wonderful party experience from start to finish. Kids from 1-12 attended and all had fun. Clean playroom with a variety of stations. I definitely recommend this place for parties and for something fun for the kids to do!

Seems a good spot for the toddlers, but I balked at what they asked me to sign on arrival - a contract releasing them from liability should anyone get injured, etc. I understand that they cant be responsible for everything that goes on when a bunch of potentially rough and tumble kids get together, but to wash their hands of ALL responsibility, even from mishaps due to play space or employee shortcomings, does not inspire confidence.
