My wife and I had a fun, nostalgic time escaping Back to the 90s. It was just the two of us, but the room wasnt too overwhelming. Beck did a great job getting us into the 90s spirit and helping us the right amount throughout the game. We were pleasantly surprised that he reviewed our performance and pointed out our individual strengths after the game; that was a nice and unexpected touch. I can see how that would be particularly helpful and appealing for work groups who participate in the game. Great experience overall. Thanks!

My niece turned 19 last month and wanted to do something different for her birthday. We got a group of eight family members together and did the Room Escape Adventure, and it was amazing!!!! Neil was a great host and added to the overall experience. We successfully escaped with time to spare, and we all are looking forward to our next experience!

Yesterday, on August 22nd, our group of friends went ax throwing. Very enjoyable. Our host Steven was very engaged and made the day especially fun. would definitely go it again. An unexpected suprise was the beautiful Arts building we visited for the first time. Finally, they took extra special care to make us all feel Covid safe. Thank you for a great outing.

Great day with Professor Eddie and Zombie LilyIt was such an amazing and fun day since beginning to end. It keeps your adrenaline going in a good way as you try to figure how not to be the zombies dinner. Eddie was a fabulous professor as he helped us through it all. Lily our zombie was amazing at getting you pumped up about getting out of the room before being her next meal. I will totally recommended it and definitely return to more of their adventure room escapes.

My 7th & 8th escape room experiences:The 90s room was as challenging as it was nostalgic. I had a great time reliving my childhood guided by Bucky who brought the entire experience to life.The Zombie room was BY FAR the most challenging room Ive ever attempted. Having the added pressure of a zombie on your heals while solving already difficult clues was intense. But Ted & Eddie (our zombie & professor) did an amazing job of keeping the game going with clues and laughs.These rooms also include individual and team reviews by the guides at the end of the games which is great for team building events and parties. Great personal touch by this company.

Went with my friends to zombie escape room and it was even more fun than I could have imagined. The zombie in the room was over the top fun and scary! Would totally recommend this to everyone. Bucky and Ted were awesome - made it a great time and I know we will be back to do it again!

We had gone as a family & loved it! Our professor, Ethan & Zombie Mike, truly captivated the experience! It was delightful! We ended up escaping with 1:30 left to go. Excited to try other rooms. Make sure to wear flat or gym shoes. Wear light clothing, as you will sweat, bring water, & a list of full popular songs in your head! Other than that I recommend you trying it out!

Took a group of 12-13 year old boys to the Zombie escape room and had so much fun. The professor did a great job directing us in the right direction -- given the boys we were working with -- it was needed! The Zombie was so fun and funny to work with -- kept us on our toes and added an additional dimension of urgency. We also needed to sing and dance to distract him as needed so bring your play book! At the time, I couldnt even come up with a decent Christmas Carol. Loved the experience and would do it again! Plus, such a cool building. Dont see elevators like that anymore!

Our families had a great time. Ages of our kids ranged from 10-16, all had so much fun. Hector and Rory were awesome. They played their roles to perfection. I would highly recommend this activity for all ages.

While we were visiting Chicago, we decided to do the Trapped in a Room with a Zombie escape room and had a wonderful experience. The puzzles were challenging, but can be fairly easily completed with proper teamwork. Ethan and Ted were quite entertaining and gave great feedback. I highly recommend it if you are in Chicago. One of the best escape rooms I have done in a while.

We went to this escape room not knowing what it would be like. Safe to say, we had a wonderful time! We had the Back to the 90s experience and were assisted by Cousin Neil. There were only two of us in the room, which made things considerably harder, but Cousin Neil helped keep us on track while still allowing us to figure it out ourselves. The room was well themed and clues were challenging, yet not too difficult. We both enjoyed the experience, even if we didnt save the world! Righteous, man!

Very pleased with our 90s escape room experience here. The tasks are very challenging and we likely would have failed without the enjoyable cousin Ingrid by our side. She had great energy and was the perfect host. By far my favorite part of the game was that she was taking notes of our team and made observations of behavior which was amusingly accurate to the way we act as a team in our profession. I highly recommend.

This was my first escape room and it was a lot of fun! There were multiple interconnected challenges so it was encouraging every time you got one and you could go a little out of order. Very nostalgic and our guide, cousin Neal, was very encouraging, helpful, and totally living in the 90s. We avoided a Y2K crash and made it out in time!

Phenomenal! It was a very fun time. Ted, our zombie, was great—scary yet funny. Christian, our guide, was warm and helpful. Be prepared to sweat. The room is well insulated and you will be running around to finish the clues and avoid the zombie. Definitely would recommend this escape room to anyone.

I had never done an escape room before, so I was a little nervous and unsure what to expect. Cousin Ingrid was a wonderful host for our trip Back to the 90s to stop the Y2K bug! She explained everything really well and put me at ease before we started the experience. The puzzles were fun and engaging. Our group helped her recover her floppy disks with a little over 16 minutes to spare! We really enjoyed the review of the experience at the end, and it was fun to see Cousin Ingrids observations of how we all worked together to escape.

So much fun had in the room and well worth going with friends to have some serious fun. Jesse and Samantha made for a fully immersive experience making it feel like you must escape. Great time!

The zombie themes escape room was the best escape room I have ever done! Ashley was a fantastic host with such great energy, and don’t even get me started on Derek and his friendly (yet still scary) attitude! The singing was my favorite part!!! I will definitely book again in the future! :)

Found this on Groupon and it was well worth it! We (I was with a friend and there were 6 others we didnt know beforehand) did the Back to the 90s/Y2K room and it was fantastic! Our Guide/Party Host was Uncle Bucky who was so fun, never broke character, and didnt push hints at us (sometimes other rooms give you hints when youd rather figure stuff out on your own..). I definitely plan to go back for their Zombie room!

We had such a fun time with Miss Noelle going back to the 90s! We loved the theme of the room as people who grew up in the 90s. The room was challenging, which is what we were looking for. Miss Noelle was such a fun host and fit right into the theme! We definitely recommend :)

We completed the Zombie escape room successfully with 7 minutes to spare before our spleens would have been consumed by the Zombie. Noelle and Ashley were fantastic and I’m impressed by their energy and enthusiasm throughout the game. We really enjoyed our time!

Having done a dozen or so escape rooms, I have to say this was special in so many ways.1. The 90s theme brought back memories.2. Having the game master in the room enhanced the experience. It was just me and my wife so we had quite a bit to figure out and appreciated the subtle clues.3. First time getting some detailed feedback at the end from the game master’s notes.Neil was awesome and we absolutely recommend this escape room!

Loved loved loved being Trapped in a Room with a Zombie! I was a little skeptical at first considering we would be trapped along with other strangers, but honestly, that’s what made it even more fun! Ashley is literally made to entertain! Her energy really helped set the fun tone. I was very confused at first but as my group kept finding clues it made it more fun to connect the pieces. It was just as fun to watch people sing and dance. Would definitely do it again!

Really enjoyed the zombie escape room! Ingrid played a great zombie and Ashley was great at helping us stay focus on the task. We were able to escape with minutes to spare and It was a super enjoyable sorority bonding event we did. Highly recommend doing this escape room (especially with Ingrid and Ashley playing their roles)

We did the Trapped in a Room with a Zombie escape room and it was sooo much fun!! The room was challenging, and the entire concept was unique. The actors Ethan and Ted stayed in character from start to finish and they were the best! Would definitely do it again and tell others!

We have done a lot of escape rooms as a family but this one is really unique and worth it. Immersion is really great with the help of John and Noel... and be sure to stay away from Derek... I am sure you will know what I am talking about. Great and original! Must try it.

I’ve been skeptical of Escape Rooms for awhile but this experience was amazing. Our host, Noelle was incredible and the 90’s room theme was super fun! Would recommend to anyone!

So much fun! I’m not even sure how we got out but we made it with one minute remaining! Neil and John made the experience so fun and they really give it their all! The place was a bit tricky to find if you over look. And be prepared for the elevator ride of your life.

This was my first time axe throwing. It was a lot of fun. I hope to return. Ingrid did a great job teaching us the basic techniques. Everyone had a great time. It was much safer than anticipated--axes ricocheting is not an issue with the equipment they used.

Had a great time in the escape room with the zombie. I have never done an escape room that added a person who could tag us out,which I think distracted us from finding the clues faster. This only added to the fun! Our hosts Neil and the zombie ( Derek i think) really made the experience memorable.

Went for the Back to the 90s Escape Room. Having never done an escape room before, I did not know what to expect but absolutely loved the experience! It was so much fun and so interesting to solve the puzzles and look for clues. We had a group of 6 people and it was the perfect amount of hands and heads to help escape. Thank you to Zane, our facilitator - he made the experience a great one! Would definitely recommend.

Trapped in a Room With a Zombie was definitely the best escape room weve done! The puzzles and riddles were already challenging to begin with, but the zombie added more pressure and thrill. Neil and John were absolutely amazing as the zombie and host!

Noelle was a fantastic host. She took us back to the 90’s and cheered us on as we worked our way through the clues. What was unique about this particular escape room was that the host stays in the room, and later evaluates your strengths. Very creative. The perfect level of challenge for us.

Cousin Neil was great! He really made it fun to experience the 90s all over again. Our small group of 4 successfully escaped and prevent the Y2K apocalypse thanks to his guidance!

So my husband and I had plans to go with 2 other couples but they couldn’t make it. We ended up having to escape on our own. Lol. Cousin Neil was amazing! He made sure to keep us on track with how much time we had left and even gave us a full break down at the end of how we worked as a team and individually. I highly recommend. The group definitely would’ve been fun because we had a blast with only us 2.

Went with a bachelorette party and we finished the room and none of us got out! But our zombie was def nicer - he sometimes started singing tunes on his own when we were really in a pinch.But the clues were pretty intricate and difficult so def see why they have a low success rate. It def got really hot as we ran around and sang/danced with the zombie. Our Prof, Deanna, and our zombie, Cullen, were the best. Thanks for the great time!

Dr Greenwald and Dr oxy were great. They really get the group involved which can be difficult. The escape room was challenging but fun. I definitely want to check out the other rooms and activities available.

This place packs a punch! From minute one, they hook you into the room with live actors that interact and help/hunt you along the way. Special shout out to our actors Neil the goofy scientist and Collin the entertaining zombie for giving us such a great time. They are really good at their jobs, and you should do your best to try Trapped In A Room With A Zombie to experience some of their high quality acting and improv!

My college friends and I did the zombie escape room as a part of our 1-year reunion. There were 11 of us with good teamwork and problem-solving skills and it proved a challenging and engaging puzzle. I would suggest going with a large group! The added fear factor of the zombie made for a thrilling experience—I did as much screaming as I did thinking Thanks to Deanna, Derrick, and John for their excellent improvisational skills and for making our experience a ton of fun!!

We attended the zombie escape room yesterday at 8:30 PM and the host and the zombie did a phenomemadenal job. They made it a fun experience from the beginning to the end. although I cannot remember their name I wanted to give them an individual shout out because they really kept our group entertained and involved throughout the whole process and that made it a great first time experience for us.

My guest and I participated in the zombie experience with a group of 3 other people—this was the first escape room for all of us. Even though there was only 5 of us (out of 12) and the zombie chase *ate* up some time during the clues, it was a perfect group size because there where more minds to think and less people to get in our way, potentially being eaten by the zombie right away Our zombie made us utilize the whole room, even when we were trying to run away from him (or distract him) or retrieve an object to a solved riddle. We each started solving different clues immediately and became really comfortable with everyone, enough to ask for help and be of assistance, and figuring out how we worked best as a team. Some clues were harder than others, but they all mean something in some way, and you feel accomplished when you solve it! Everyone in our group contributed something different to the team, which helped us solve every clue up to the last one, which we had the contents for but not the correct directions—so we spent the last 5 minutes or so piecing together everything that would help us escape. Even though we nearly solved it, we didn’t escape, but Ethan and Ted made the experience more real, fun, exhilarating, and humorous! I loved that Ethan was in the room with us and, following the 60mins, shared with us his noted observations about each person’s qualities and participation. I would definitely do another escape room with REA—maybe even doing the zombie one again in the future!

The 90s room was great. Liked the Gamemaster in the room. Very interesting tasks and puzzles. The feedback at the end was very helpful in our team building exercise. I highly recommend Escape Room Adventures. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

This was my family’s first escape room and we are a tad obsessed with Zombies and we also love theatre! I can’t say enough cool things about this event! From the acting on both The Professor and Zombie the whole experience was amazing and fun! This experience has me hooked and sad I don’t live in this town! It’s expensive but so worth every penny! Hilarious, challenging, fun, and heart pumping!

The Zombie Escape Room was a great experience. My entire family had a wonderful time. It was my wife & I, along with our 3 kids, and 3 grandkids. Everyone loved it. We laughed about the entire zombie escape room experience all night and the next day. Deanna (assistant) and Derek (zombie) made the experience fantastic. The experience would not have been the same without them. They were awesome! We even met another family in the escape room that was very nice. They also seemed to have had a wonderful time.

This was my first escape room and it lived up to what I expected. Ashley (as our Zombie) was super entertaining and played along well. She sang along to A Whole New World as well and put up with the constant repeat of a German song. Neil was also super helpful when we started to struggle a lot. I also really liked the feedback thing he did at the end, made me realize I did a lot more than I thought.

Cousin Neil did a fantastic job in our escape adventure out of the 90s. He was helpful but not overly so and provided great feedback at the end. The puzzles were well thought out and executed. A great room and a fun start to our trip.

We had an awesome time on Saturday, March 23rd! Our hosts were Jon and Ashley and they did a great job! I love how they had us play different types of competitive games. Word of advice? Its hot in there so dont dress too warm, bring water, and think of a witty name for your name tag ahead of time because that will be your name for the whole thing!

This is my first escape room so I dont have much to compare it to, but I thought it was fun. The 90s decor was spot on and the clues were challenging but not impossible. Cousin Neil did a great job of staying in character and providing us clues when needed.

Axe throwing with our Axe-pert Rob was incredible. The games were super fun, safe, and challenging. We steadily improved each time we threw and got to take pictures with our first bulls-eye! Rob was awesome and definitely knew what he was doing! Highly recommend Ragnarok Axe throwing as a fun filled, any reason activity! 10/10 fun 10/10 service 10/10 instruction.

Really good escape room. Would recommend. Ashley had good acting and had great accents. Brendon the zombie wasn’t bad either. Harder than most escape rooms I’ve been too. Barely made it out in time.

Ashley and Ethan were great! The room is challenging but doable, and the advice from the hosts was helpful but not too obvious. My work team attended The Game Show Game Show as a team building event. This event is fantastic. It is a combination of all your favorite gameshows into one gameshow and it tested our trivia knowledge, family feud and physical abilities. There was truly a question category for everybody, participation at all levels. It even sparked the competitive nature of our team and created a memory that will last a lifetime. The hosts are energetic and maintain that energy through the whole show. The rules are explained in detail which ensures that the game flows smoothly.

Had a great time in the zombie room, Ashley and Ingrid were super fun and energetic. Ive only done a few other escape rooms but this one is definitely the best!

Cousin Neil was a very good host. I give him 5 stars. However, the escape room itself was not very well designed. We went as a group of 4 and did the Y2K room. Two of us got locked into a very tedious but necessary puzzle that involved listening to music for almost the whole hour. I recommend not volunteering to do that puzzle. Not fun.

Deana and Cullen made our zombie escape room so fun!! There was a lot of screaming and mayhem, but we made it out literally at the last second. We had some people distract our dear zombie so the rest of our party could work on the clues. Theres a lot of running away from the zombie so make sure you wear comfortable shoes!
