Although they were unable to have in-facility customers at this time, we were able to rent some VRs to use at home and Aaron was the ABSOLUTE BEST to work with.We live an hour away but would be willing to do the home rentals again or, better yet, go back when theyre able to have in-facility customers again. Wish we had a local business like this closer to us to support during these hard times.

This place is a perfect space to work away from home. With everything going on, I like many others have been forced to work from home. Some of us can only handle being at the house for so many hours. And others of us get so distracted by things that need to be done in the home. Come here to become free of all those at home distractions and get your work done distraction free. The staff is super nice and they are doing a great job abiding by covid standards. The tables are super spread out and you get a whole space to yourself.It is so much better than a coffee shop because of the amount of space and the number of outlets. I always have a hard time finding outlets when I go to cafes and its seems like everybody coming in and out can be so distracting! At Redline VR, you really get your own little space and its so nice for focus!Not to mention it is beautifully designed! The bathroom is a nice surprise!Definitely a win win situation! Lucky for me, it is right around the corner from my house!As for the VR, I havent tried it yet, but I am sure I will soon!If you need a distraction free desk space because you are tired of working from home this is definitely the place for you!

LOVED this place’s vibe. Such a unique atmosphere, even in the restrooms! The owner was so accommodating of our large group and even showed our people who were new to VR how to use it without taking it out of our time! Will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone. Well worth traveling, and it’s well priced too.

I just went there with my gf and it’s amazing!!! The VR Fest is just a whole experience. They even have some pieces from the Venice Biennale!This is definitely a date spot. Drinks are pricy but I don’t think is a good idea to get into a whole other universe being drunk af.Don’t miss the VR drinking experience...it was like 15 bucks well spent.

We hosted a party here and it was a BLAST! They were super nice and we enjoyed the games. My favorite was the boxing and you can even play against each other.The bar has local offerings and met everyone’s tastes. We also had catered food. People had such a good time they were asking about coming back. The VR gear is awesome with the earphones and you really feel in the game. Thanks Aaron, Kyle and the crew!

We hosted our company annual party at Redline VR last week and the entire team had a blast. The Redline team were super accommodating, easy to work with and made the event simple to host. We ended up extending our event by an hour because people were not ready to leave! We will definitely be back :)

I just hosted an epic holiday team party at Redline VR and it was an absolutely awesome experience. The VR is fun, interactive and top-notch. The staff is personable, helpful and informed. The cocktails/drinks were both delicious and local. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

We had a fantastic experience at this place. Went to celebrate my husbands birthday with my 2 daughters and son-in-law. We did some multi-person virtual reality games: Cowboys and Aliens where 3 of us were playing, a Lord of the Ring type adventure where 3 of us were shooting orcs with bow and arrows, and a boxing match between two of us. I did a one person VR where I was under the sea with fish, whales, and jellyfish swimming all around me. That was so beautiful! Would definitely recommend and would try again.

Went with my husband and brother who was in town on leave from the Navy. He LOVES escape rooms. Weve done other escape rooms so I wanted to do something different. We all had a blast! We didnt complete the escape the first time so we tried again! Really fun :)Already planning on going back with my cousins!

Our group had a fantastic time! Caroline was very helpful and accommodating. The VR rig was comfortable and the headset quality was crisp. Id definitely plan a group outing here again.

Jon and Aaron (co-owners) have put their heart and soul into this and it shows. I did my birthday with them before their official space was open and had about 25 people coming and going after playing a few games and they all loved it. In their new space, the multi-player games are awesome- it really ups involvement from everyone watching and adds a more competitive level to it for us lesser-competitive people. (Those competitive ones will be thrilled to know they plan to do leagues for some of the multi-player games.) Definitely check them out. If you want to try it for free, its a great option for corporate outings too, which weve had some friends use it for.

I never thought of spending the night doing VR, but this was such a great experience! I will definitely be going back! They have great support for first time players. Also, everything is CLEAN! They have wipes sanitize the head gear as well as sweat covers if you want to use those. They have an incredible open concept, so you still feel like its a fun night out and not trapped in a room. WELL DONE REDLINE VR!

Ive had several experiences with Redline VR. The first was at Empirical Brewing where Aaron and Caroline demo-ed Beat Saber. They were both very cool and kind and that game is a nice introductory game into the experience of VR. We got to play with them a few times at VR and booked Redline for a birthday event. With two full bays, they did a great job setting up, keeping the games diverse allowing for everyone who attended the party several plays. Finally, we attended the soft open of Redline and had a blast. The location is well organized and has a great aesthetic. My fiance and I were able to play games along side several other groups, playing games on our own but also cooperatively with other groups if we chose to. This is a great activity for all, not just dedicated gamers. Come one, come all and enjoy the new world that is VR gaming.

Great place and exciting! 9 bays of VR are all going and are amazing! Just no liquor license yet but who cares. Sophisticated VR will blow your mind. Kid friendly too.All the usual games you would expect in VR plus A neat sailboat cruising or racing game VR Regatta. If you’ve ever sailed before you’ve got to try this!

We had a corporate holiday party here, and everything was perfect. The customer service was fantastic from initial contact until the final guests left.Our guests had a great time, playing the games and watching others play! Incredible job!!

This was really fun and Im really glad we decided to try it. The only downside was some technology issues that made it hard to hear my partner in the escape room. But we will definitely be going again. I would love to have a party there.

I had an awesome time! My girlfriend and I came out for their soft open event. Their staff were able to help introduce us to the equipment, the gaming environment, how to use the hardware, and how to navigate the system. We played a medieval bow & arrow castle defense-type game. It was awesome!We were already pretty familiar with the concept of VR gaming and what to expect. And even though they were doing a soft open, and were running around fixing a few minor bugs and handling a queue for the first time, I thought they did great! This place is going to be a HUGE success as its perfect for a date night. Get there a little early and bring in a 6-pack!Thanks for the great night, Redline VR!

“Best birthday party ever!” per my 11-year-old son. My son is still talking about it the day after! We loved the place the minute we walked in to initially check it out. We rented the south half of the venue and it was the perfect size to host 10 kids and parents to hang out. The staff was super attentive and on top of everything. Everyone had a great time and we’re already considering to host another event with the kids during the holidays!!!

The VR experience was better than I expected. The price seems a bit steep, but I dont know if there is really a standard market-rate for this type of unique service. I think its definitely worth a try if you are at all curious about what the VR experience is like. The employees were all very nice and helpful.

Super fun experience with attentive and friendly staff! The space is well-designed for VR and hanging with friends. Even if youve never tried VR before, they teach you what you need to know. Theres a range of games: stuff for your die-hard gamer bro but also simpler activities for the casual VR player. Well def come back here again.

Wonderful experience! Just had my daughters bday party here and everything was fabulous. Management was helpful to me when gathering info and booking. And then the kids had a blast. My group was middle schoolers but I think they can make something work for every age. We brought in pizza and cake. The beer list at the bar is great too!!

What fun! We had a great time exploring their offerings after a dinner date. I defended a village from ogres with only a bow and arrows and defended myself from flying fruit, ninja style!! And we only scratched the surface - no more dinner and a movie...

Technology still not working great after their launch, likely not their fault and after a few resets and some games not working at all they added time to our experience which was very nice. Staff was top-notch and friendly. Looking forward to a return!

This was a fantastic experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was afraid it would just be something I could just play on a friend’s Xbox. However, RLVR provided some legit , top of the line VR equipment. I could have played Beat Saber for hours. There was also a fun “bar fight” game that would be even more fun with REAL beer (which they provide). The staff definitely made everyone feel safe and sure no one ran into anything with the headsets on. It’s a unique Chicago experience I highly recommend!
