Great walking path around the pond. Nice people walking. A nice breath of fresh air during the pandemic; most were wearing masks while walking/jogging.

As a long time Chesterfield resident, Im very proud of this park. The sculpture, The Awakening, is worth the visit alone. The park includes a high end amphitheatre thats less than 10 years old, and a nice outdoor pool and water park. Theres a playground and two trails that include paved paths, lakes, bridges, and sculptures.

This park has a little for everyone! The playground is huge and has different play areas for older and younger kids. There are also some great trails with a peaceful brook running through the back of the park. My kids love to play in the water and climb on the rocks. The stream also leads to a lake with fishing spots avaikable. If you enjoy sculpture there are some huge modern pieces to enjoy while hiking through the nice wooded walkways.

A beautiful centerpiece to the wonderful area that Chesterfield is.. The cute little picnic spots littered out, the perfectly sized n elevated running laps the place offers and the quietness this place offers is unenviable..

Fun park that will be more fun once the playground is open. There are nice paved trails that are perfect for strollers. There are man-made creeks around the main water. One has a trail with giant pavers mostly that is nice for kids to play in like a big splash pad.

Great place to take the kids! Nice playground. Fantastic paved walking path around the lake. Take some bread to feed the fish from the bridge. Take a detour through the amphitheater, admire the beautiful veterans memorial fountain and then cross the street to see The Awakening sculpture! Kids will love it. Parents will love it for the easy parking and clean, climate-controlled bathrooms.

Probably one of my favorite parks. The entire landscape is gorgeous and the flood protection around the lake is really nice and takes away the worry that the park will ever be flooded. There is a huge playground and beautiful streams in the park. On Monday night we saw 3 deer walking along the lake.

I drive through Central Park on way to Y for Jims yoga class @ 9am. My drive takes me by the magnificent Awakening sculpture and then the Veterans Honor Park. Today I noticed two threatening creatures have been employed no doubt to deter geese or other wildlife from taking up residence in front of the Amphitheatre. They seemed to be doing a good job of it as the geese are staying in the field across the road (hee hee).

Nice park. Trails are hilly, so if you have trouble with a change in elevation or use walking assistance maybe not the best park. The lake is fun and has fish and geese. The Trails are well maintained. The playground is big and looks safe and well maintained. I like the shade on the trails and all of the water at this park. Great to visit once or a hundred times.

Nice park, good views and listening to the water is nice. Overall I prefer Faust Park. Theres a path at Central along the water that is mud. They need to pave that path asap. Additionally, I dont know if the city of chesterfield has heard, theres a park in NYC called Central Park. Its kind of a big deal, been in movies etc... So naming your park the same in kinda obtuse to say the least.
