Love going to Cinema Cafe - Im so glad to be able to go back to the movies finally! The service is just as good as always, and they are taking care to keep movie watchers separated while working hard to keep the theaters clean between showings. Food is delicious, too!

Great Movie Theatre EXPERIENCE!!Great service from Mr. Conner as I purchased my movie ticket for Zombieland: Double Tap and selected my seat while purchasing it, so I didnt have to rush to my seat as it was reserved for me. #Genious :^)The server was very attentive and seemed to read my mind when I needed something she showed up and was very polite/professional, wish I had caught her name.Im bring several other veterans with me the next time I come back, next week.

Best Cinema cafe and worth driving a bit out off the way. The young folks that work here are courteous, professional and friendly. The theaters, surround sound and seating are second to none and they have a fantastic black bean burger thats better than anywhere else. Also, sweet tea thats proper sweet tea, lol! My son only wants to go here and refers to it as, lets go to Edinburgh and not lets go to the movies. See you again soon!

Always impressed with Edinburgh Cinema Cafe! Its the only theather we will go to. Immaculately clean theather, comfortable reclining seats with spacious rows, generous food portions, variety of food and drink options, and hands down the best and most attentive staff! The biggest plus, the bathrooms are always clean!

Cinema Cafe is one of our go-to family escapes from the daily grind. Good food, courteous staff and clean environment.

Me and my family have visited this movie theater many time. We love the atmosphere and the cleanliness or the theater. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable for the venue. We will continue going here for our movie nights. The seating is awesome the only problem is that the place doesnt have enough theaters to accommodate the fans of the venue.

My favorite movie theater out of all of them, came here in 2019 to watch toy story 4 and in 2018 infinity war and in once again in 2019 endgame!!! This is the best theater I recommend this to everyone.

Its back open and they have set up for social distancing. Service is very good.

They are always very clean and very helpful. I always get the chicken tenders and the portions are so big, I always have to get a takeout box. You definitely get what you pay for. We missed a movie once for an emergency, so I emailed the manager and he had 2 tickets waiting at the booth for another movie. Definitely recommend!!

Edingburg is our favorite Cinema Cafe. We have never been disappointed at this location.

I was pleasantly surprised at how this place is set up. Its got a new feel to it and theyve invested in recliners. I received a coupon for free pizza from my work. Otherwise Id have never chosen pizza, I was expecting something subpar, but it was REALLY good. My husband and I ate the whole large pizza by ourselves.

Great place for a movie and social distancing!

While the video and audio quality was good the addition of dining during a film did not work for me. Having waitstaff walking in front of me repeatedly during the film quickly got tedious. It might work for someone who wants social interaction more than watching and following the film; However if you want to seriously watch a film I would recommend a traditional theater.

Very awesome theater. They have reclinable chairs with individual tray tables. The tickets were cheap too.Our waitress Chloe was awesome! They have a very good menu with variety of items. The nachos were great, the gyro and the potato skins were fantastic. Popcorn was fresh. I would highly recommend this theather...also they have a full bar.

Been here several times, and I must say it is the nicest Cinema Cafe I have ever visited! Its a No CONTEST with the one in Hampton.... an Absolute Dive in comparison! It is definitely one of my top 3 favorite theaters to visit in all of Hampton Roads! For an added touch of nostalgia, there are several 4 ft tall storm troopers and my absolute favorite...a 4 ft tall Darth Vader on top of the entrance!

Tickets were designated for the wrong theater but the server completely fixed it. The food and drinks were amazing and theater was very clean.

This is a great place to catch a flick. The food is good, the drinks are awesome and the seating is second to none. Throw in the top notch sound/video system and you cant beat it as far as movie going experiences go.

Staff is AMAZING, very upbeat, positive attitudes and family centric staff.Convenient layout and location. Its easy to get to and when your in its easy to redeem your tickets.Only drawback is the food and drinks, its super average. Also ive been over 8 times, getting a sticky seats is hit or miss.All-in-all has to be the best movie theater experience in the Hampton Roads

Nice theater where you pick you seats. Seats are roomy and recline. The gap between rows are huge so no people up on you making noise. Food was great.

Super clean and updated movie theater with lots of food options to order. Great time for the family and the kiddos. Very friendly and attentive staff and easy to contact with the push button at your seat for refills or additional food orders. Overall a great experience with the family and always the go through movie location when we go to Virginia Beach.

Nice reclining chairs. Food was good and staff were friendly. Call button did not work on our seats so we had to go out and find someone to let them know we were ready to order. Volume was very loud and tore pieces of napkin and rolled them to make makeshift earplugs. Would have given 4 stars if call button worked. I will bring earplugs next time to protect my hearing. Ears are still ringing.

Well well well...what can I say but it was a great experience.. The atmosphere was nice and the recliners were better. Great customer service and some funny people that work there... I love to come here to relax.... It would be nice if they could give a free movie night on them... I can go on and on about this place... Keep up with the good work....I will be back sooner than later...lol

Getting tickets are easy and the kiosk is quick if you dont want to print anything at home. Workers are friendly, facilities are clean, and they sell beer. Recliners are nice especially when you have to reserve up close (rows 1-3). Not every seat is a recliner but the website identifies them easily.

Great atmosphere for a night out to the movies with reclining theater seats as the cherry-on-top. Also, the funnel cake fries with chocolate sauce were delicious (not sure if they are a limited time item though) and paired well with my Butterbeer mixed drink

I have been going here for movies since they opened and I have never been disappointed. Sometimes the seats don’t recline properly but that’s a minor technical issue. The staff has always been great and the food has always been good. Full menu and bar delivered right to your seat. Hidden gem of Chesapeake.

My first time there and I loved it we had a very nice server, Amy and its very affordable. And the recliners were amazing!I will definitely go back and I highly recommend it.

The movie theater is a great place to spend and evening. The choices of food is rather nice. The drinks are pretty good. The chicken is quite dry so if you have difficulty putting things down be careful. The cheese fries are solid though. All in all its a good place to hang with friends or take a date.

I always enjoy my movie experience at cinema cafe Edinburgh. The food was fresh, the movie area was clean, hosts are very pleasant. It would be great to see all of the cinema cafes in the area upgraded to the status of this cinema.

Great theater, huge comfortable reclining seats with small attached tables on everyone, the tables might be too small if you order alot but its workable. Great parking too.

Always a great experience at Cinema Cafe. Im sad they no longer have broccoli bites, I hope they will bring them back! The gyro is delicious. Its not on the menu at the moment, but their frozen mudslide is a dessert and a cocktail! Ask for it! You can go in comfy clothes and even bring a blanket if you like and no one bats an eye.

Waitress Emma was AMAZING!!! She explained food items, suggested different toppings and sides, checked on us at least 7 times or so, and was extremely pleasant. Theater was clean, and the seats were the coolest. Fancy seats with electronic call buttons and foot lifts! First time going here, and very happy I did.

Really enjoyed my first time here. Movie and lunch was a great combination. I thought having someone walk in front of you often would be annoying but it honestly was not that bad although the audience was kind of light. Might get annoying if there is a bigger crowd.

Ive been coming here since it opened. Always enjoyed it. Lately youre lucky to get a seat that works and every theater is smelling like a musty attic, which is killer on allergies. May be time to change some air filters!!

Been there several times and always enjoy. The food is very good, though a bit pricey. To counterbalance that, the tickets are not expensive. The chairs are very comfortable and far large enough that you dont feel as if you are sitting too close to other theater goers. The wait staff is well trained and not obtrusive during the movie. 9 Times out of 10 we have ALWAYS had an EXCELLENT experience! We make our reservations in advance to ensure our favorite seats and we always order the Megaplex sampler to share between myself and my husband. He usually has a beer and I have a tea. Our bill comes to $43.23 for food and beverage and we usually tip 20% if the service is good.Unfortunately, the last time we came to Edinburgh on 03/05/20 ALEX was our waitress and she was one of the worst server experiences we have ever had in our 17 years together. From what we discovered, we were sitting next to her Xboyfriend who had come in a party of 5 after us. Once he arrived she avoided the entire area and we were FORGOTTEN! we had to utilize other servers to Continue our order process and close out our order. Her current boyfriend worked there and was introducing himself to her X (how bizarre ) while we waited for our forgotten food and beverage. Things went really south when the party of 5 young men was given OUR Megaplex by mistake by the X boyfriend while we waited over 40 minutes for our food. ALEX never came back the entire time until the end of the movie to give us our check and she NEVER apologized to us for PURPOSELY avoiding the area and the customers. I admit, I did not leave her a TIP at all because we only saw her 2x once to take our order and once to give us our check. She is very lucky we did not make a scene because we felt that way. Other than that. This location is clean, the staff is pleasant and friendly and its a great place to go!

I love coming here but OMG..please clean out cup holders on chairs. I came to a 9:45pm show it was so nasty!! The whole row. That was my first time experiencing that. But otherwise my number one choice place to come watch a movie.

Gotta love the dinner and a movie concept. As a whole the place is generally clean with a good atmosphere. The seats are comfortable and they have adjustable reclining features. Good place to go for a date or just a night out

We absolutely love this theater and the location. The food is good too! We love the multiplex / megaplex and the sundaes the best. Also - FRIES. It is less than an hour from us. It has reserved seating which we always do online so we can get our favorite seats. We love the recliners. They are big and comfy. We love the friendly staff that works here. We pretty much always order snacks, a meal, or drinks while watching a movie here. Best theater around us! We visit almost monthly - sometimes 2 or 3 times a month if we can. I cant say enough great things about this place. The parking is big. It has never been totally full to the point where I have had to walk across the street to get to the theater from the Wal-Mart area. The location has fast food, department stores, gas stations nearby. This place is growing. They have a bar area with TVs while you wait for your showtime or maybe friends/family to arrive. You can eat out there too I think. All in all. 5 stars from the two of us. We will keep coming back for years. Thanks for making this location and the awesome seats and staff!!!!!!!

This was awesome! Went with teen daughter and Sister-in-law and had a blast. The food was awesome. Military discount. Midday fun.

Great spot to catch a movie, dinner and drinks. Sound quality is awesome and very spacious. Only downfall was it wasnt very clean. The seats were sticky and smelled like they were wiped down with a dirty rag. The drinks were great and pricing is just right for anything they have.

Theater is clean, staff is friendly, and they have good food and drinks. Noticed some of the reclining chairs are starting to show wear in regards to functionality. Otherwise a great place to go watch a movie!

The fact that the center of the cinema is a bar deserves minimum 4stars. However when they had a dozen life size storm troopers in imperial marching formation on display the 5 stars becomes a must. I’m sure it’s not a year round display but it was glorious. Other than that I love the massive parking lot giving you plenty of places to park and a lovely carport-like valet area which is great for some pics, a smoke or whatever and then of course you can eat and drink from a big cinematically punny menu. I recommend the hulk smash for the 21+ crowd.

This place used to easily be 5 stars, but it is starting to fall into disrepair. Chairs with duck tape over them to cover holes and recliners that are broken or dont function properly anymore are some examples. I would recommend not sitting in the most trafficed chairs if you can help it.

The hubby and I love this movie theater! The prices for tickets and food are very reasonable. The chairs are super comfy. Its very helpful to be able to choose seats in advance so we dont have to rush to get to the theater to get good seats.
