So far the cleanest theater Ive visited in Hampton roads since the reopening of establishments. Great customer service, and personnel will ensure the kids have a great experience, my kid wasnt expecting a little toy with his kid combo! Will definitely come back!

Ive been going to this theater my whole life and after been going for so long, I do enjoy every visit, the quality is great. Its no billion dollar theater but its certainly where the heart is.

Great seat, staff is helpful and I very much enjoyed my double feature movie. Felt plenty safe and there was plenty of social distance.

Cinemark Chesapeake, whoever the 2 young men were that were working the concession stand on Monday night February 17th at 9pm, they did a great job. It wasnt busy but I think reviews fail to say thank you to individuals and these guys were friendly and helpful. They let me later my popcorn with butter not just one layer but but 3 times and let me ask a few questions about the popcorn machine. It was pretty neat. I love popcorn and now I know a few things about movie popcorn.... Always time to learn while waiting for the show to start!

Best theater in Chesapeake. Clean. Great concessions, comfortable seats and best screens. We pass multiple theaters just to come to this one.

We love coming here. The movie club is a great deal it always saves us money.The seats in the theaters are decent and the bathrooms are clean. The only thing is that candy by weight adds up fast so be careful because it is where kids can reach. But the kids meal is a great deal. A snack, drink and a treat.

One of my favorite theatres to go to. Seems to never be that crowded and price is better than others. It doesnt disappoint me.

Nice, new movie theatre with roomy seats. Very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the active duty military discount they offer is ridiculous. They advertise that they offer the discount, yet every time my husband and I try to use the discount they have a reason for why they can’t apply it. Three stars for being unpredictable with your discounts, maybe post the law so called restrictions so customers know when they can use it.

Lady says my seat is her seat but, when i show my ticket to make the person in my seat move, all of a sudden the machine sold me the wrong tickets. Always something when I come here on the weekend. Just going to stick with military circle movie theater. They are better anyway.

They have started doing the reserved seats thing. So now if some weirdo sits next to me, I’m stuck. Will not be coming back. I prefer the freedom to sit where I am comfortable, not where you have assigned me to sit.

Movie was great watching on the big screen. Seats were comfortable. Theater was clean. Employees were efficient and friendly. All of that plus the Tmobile discount made for a great experience.

Though sometimes the food lines are crowded, this place is nice. Clean and the sevice is excellent! Staff is always friendly and professional even when the theater is crowded and overwhelming they are never nasty to their customers. Five stars!!!

No complaints at all. The theater was clean .... the popcorn fresh and the drinks were cold. This is the perfect place to sit back and relax while watching the movie of your choice.

Every time Ive been the floors have been dirty and the seats are sticky. Overpriced because food isnt good, its dirty and the seats are to close.

Its a decent theater to watch movies. It had good times for the shows and plenty of seats available. I also like a movie theater that still serves real food like hot dogs and pizza. The snack lines moves very quickly as well!

I would rate it higher but they refused to open the milkshake machine claiming Covid-19 bogus rules....

I tend to come to this theater for Fathom Events that either arent at my theater or are sold out already. Food is great and the milkshakes are delicious.

Nice place...nothing fancy, but it was clean and the employees were nice. They had a nice deal for kids during the day in the summer. We would go again.

Nice friendly folks good food nice movies

Movie experience in itself was great but my wife and I went to see Joker at 1:15pm and at 1:30pm my wife had to go and tell the staff that nothing was playing. No advertisements. No previews. No sound. Nothing. Just a blank screen. After my wife informed the staff they came in and informed the rest of the crowd that they were checking on the problem and would try to get it playing in time. It took about another 10 minutes to get the movie going and it seemed to start a few minutes in. So if you take away the 25+ minutes of staring at the blank screen and the apparent start of the movie a few minutes in, the film itself and the sound was great quality. I just really felt the staff should have caught this error prior to my wife having to complian.

The Avengers movie, Endgame, was great!

Takes forever to wait on milkshakes and theres no consistency sometimes they are good n thick and last one I got was watery n tasted terrible. Movies are great n have good discounts on movies.

The seats are very big. Whoever said they were too small is genuinely a human cow. I love how the food area is set up and the staff is very sweet.

It is a much farther drive out than the Cinemark location closer to where I live (near military circle), but it is nicer here. Its large, well lit, and very clean, it was pretty relaxed and empty inside when we went. Very comfortable seating.

Im not a fan of the chairs, they kind of recline and are too close to the row behind, so I had to watch the entire film with some rugrat kicking the back of my chair every 5 seconds. The sound system was good though? As far as the actual picture and sound it was 10/10, its just the layout that needs some remodeling.

Wasnt crowded, nice and clean. The 2:30 shows are the best seats in the house.

Popcorn full of kernels, kettle popcorn is never sweet and there is no selection like caramel or caramel mixed with Cheetos like at AMC Jacksonville NC/Camp Lejeune area

Standard movie theater. Prices were cheaper than most. Movie was decent, screen was more dim than I am used to. Made the experience not as good as a brighter projector.

The two guys working the popcorn were good but the overall service was terrible. I intentionally bought my ticket online so that l could avoid a long line but that was useless.The police officer on duty was the one who actually helped me to the correct theater even though there were about five or six employees monkey playing near the movie line entrance.The line was very long to pay for concessions but no one bothered to open a second register. I could hear the other movie playing in the theater next to mine while I was trying to watch my movie. I found it very distracting. I have never had that happen before. I ended up asking for the manager and requested my money back. The female manager was great, gave me a full refund and said she would speak with her staff because none of it should have happened.

Clean, overall good. Only negative is they let people stay in there while on the phone. Takes away from the theater experience.

I only recommend coming here during the day time. Tickets during this time are only $5 each which isnt too bad. I usually stop by Walmart on my way to grab a few boxes of $1 candy. Otherwise, youll pay $5-$6 for the same thing. Theyll still get you one way or another. A medium popcorn and large drink is around $14 Seats are comfy and recline!

The movie stopped playing out of nowhere. When the movie did start playing again the sound was messed up.

This is my second theater of choice. I prefer theaters with recliners, but if I do not have that option, I go here. Fairly comfortable seats, friendly staff, and not overly crazy concession prices. I have seen higher.

They have started asking customers to select their seats which makes the process longer when you are trying to purchase your tickets. Its impossible to see which seats u selected once u enter the movie

I liked the XD wide screen... and being able to pre-pay for reserved seats. Good movie complex with multiple screens including 3-D. Food court offers much more than popcorn and candy!

This theater has state-of-the-art equipment, with an excellent sound system as well as 3d, XD screens. Also, each auditorium has comfy, spacious stadium seating. The premises is kept clean and orderly, which is a plus. And there are police on site, usually, so it makes customers and staff feel safer (especially on weekends, when its much busier). I almost always choose this theater for all of my movie-going experience. :)

My 2 grand children and I enjoyed the experience very much.

I understand as a parent that when going to a childrens movie it is not going to be quiet. Therefore if I pay to see a childrens movie with my children, when about 10 people are in the theater I do not expect to be thrown out of the theater because my baby is fussy. Never going back again.

Never go again. Took my boys to the movies for a well overdue family night. I purchased ticket, let them play games and went to purchase popcorn and my wallet was GONE. I spoke with the manager and asked them to go over camera. I was told the camera only cover their registers. I was then told I could leave a name and number if it turned up and offered a refund. My wallet was found two days later outside the other side of the mall on the ground, minus my Christmas money for my boys. I am grateful for the person who returned my belongings and the mall security for finding me. We will never return.

Small movie theater. Its clean and they have a decent selection of movies. Did I mention its clean. Which is getting harder to find for theaters.

The seats were kinda small in space but other rgan that everything else was good. The staff was wonderful.

Cinemark is my choice movie theater. The place is generally clean and all the associates are courteous and resourceful.

This theatre is one of our favorites! It’s in a good location and it is extremely comfortable. Since they upgraded the theatre it’s an absolute win. We have joined the rewards program which is $8 a month and you receive a movie ticket (one per month) plus a very good discount for concessions. If you are an avid movie goer like my husband and me this is a wonderful monthly program. The tickets for matinee are only $5.50 and they do have an extended matinee which goes much later than other theatres. Of course, after matinee the tickets are increased dramatically, but what theatre doesn’t have increased prices after matinee?
