What a cool place to visit. Awesome views, miles of trails for mountain bikes, road bikes, runners and walkers.Beautiful views of the city and river below. You can drive, ride, or walk around the rim of the reservoir at the top.The visitors center is closed, not not sure if there are any other restroom facilities on site.

The trails are poorly marked making it extremely difficult to know where you are going. Some of the trails have no signs and there are zero markings on the trees. Disappointed as this is supposed to be maintained by a local trail org that people donate to. There was no trail map in a parking area clearly geared towards bicycles. There wasnt even a sign to show you where to enter the trails.

Ive been up here several times now and it is always a peaceful and beautiful hike. Lots of huge rocks and overlooks of the Tennessee river. Eagles and lots of wildlife as well. Several different trails to go on. Definitely recommend. Dog friendly too.

Almost no trail markers making it hard to have a good flow on this trail. I had constantly look at my phone to make sure I was on the right trail

.the mountain bike trail is great, every level of riding is available. Ive learned to not shop or stay at hotels in Tennessee as their tax rates are shameful. 10% on purchases and 16 to 24% at hotels.

These trails have a little bit of everything. Be prepared to do some climbing if you are going to do a full lap hitting most of the trails. There are some equally steep descents. Very well laid out and marked. Would be hard to get lost.

This trail network consists of a 20+ mile loop trail, on top of the mountain, as well as two trails that connects the loop to the boat ramp at the base of the mountain. Each connector trail is approximately 5 miles. This trail network was constructed by volunteers from the Chattanooga chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association. The construction budget was funded entirely by membership dues. So if you like this trail, thank a mountain biker

Great scenery and fun hikes. Trails are not marked, so it is a challenge to know which one youre on, and not get lost. It was free to hike and see the visitors center. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Absolutely beautiful views of the Tennessee River gorge, and really awesome mountain bike trails!! Complete with a visitor center that explains the history of one of the most unique hydroelectric power stations in the world.

These are some of the roughest trails in the area with some challenging terrain and features. I enjoy riding hard and testing my limits. This is a great place to do it. They have 2 long downhill trails that go to the bottom of the mountain which are great for speed, jumping, maneuvering, and seeking adrenaline.

Such a great mtb trail system. A lot of fast flow on top loop with good rock tech in spots. The lower loop drops down quickly with steep technical switchbacks initially flowed by rock gardens & some fast dh. Run top loop counterclockwise & lower loop clockwise.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re into mountain biking or hiking. I came from Tampa for these trails and I really enjoyed myself. Trails are fast and technical but if I could change 1 thing it would be add more trail signs. A lot of downed trees in the trails but I’d imagine that’s par for the course in this environment.

Great place to ride with great views to boot

We walked a 4m hike along one of the trails and it was a great scene. The tree lines made for some great photos as did all the vegetation. Its right before fall so it was probably the last of the green before we head into fall. Well head back up to do another one of these trails once the leaves start to change.

Tons of trails, but they are not all well maintained. Lots of fallen trees and other obstacles to tend with. That being said, its definitely worth the trip.

Go ride here...A little bit of everything. Most bathroom were close except visitors center. It was Thanksgiving weekend. Rocky but we rode it with our 11 year old
