As of early this morning the trail is flooded out 11-12-20 when you start on Beaverton Place and go to the start of the trail it’s flooded out so do not go in the area today possibly tomorrow until the rain succeedsThis is part two of the review on the corner of Barrington Place and Ray Road there’s a lot of people speeding people are trying to walk and ride your bicycles and stays socially distance from each other people running red lights I wish the police will monitor this area I almost got hit three times and following the traffic signal I almost got hit again about two minutes ago it’s the corner of Beth and TownePlace and Rae Road

Another very nice walking trail. We did not walk the whole 2 miles but what we did was great. Visiting from Florida so it nice to actually walk up and down some hills.

For years I have been coming to this Greenway. If not for any other reason, peace and tranquility. This greenway stretch never disappoints, and recommend at least trying the three mile round trip from Rea Rd!

Mostly covered park. Which is great for summer. Pretty and clean trail. With cute rockers at beginning of trail. There are a few more bike riders than Im used to, but is one downside, only since I have small kids. So its a little harder to control my kids.Right next to Trader Joes. And my fam has left me a TJs and gone to this trail to kill time, while I shop.

Very nice walking bike riding trail. Very shady. One of my favorites in Charlotte. Bathrooms are at either end of the trail, none in between. Wooden boarded walkways.

I love the wooden bridges on this greenway as they provide some much needed joint relief. Also there is a stop about 2 miles in with restrooms. Nice shady coverage through the entire run for me which is anywhere from 3-5 miles. Sometimes the bridges can be muddy and flood after a rain but for me this comes with the territory. Great greenway.

Its a long drive from here to Crowders Mountain, this option is just as efficient. All kinds of people walking with each other or alone and with their pets, or bike riding. Even if its chilly out, youll walk yourself into a sweat. Be ready to see cute dogs, bunnies, ducks, and a family of deer, thats exactly what we saw all in one trip.

Me and mom used to walk on it daily. I loved to take camera, have many cool shots of insects, animals and birds. I have captured green tree frogs, marbled frogs, beavers, deer snails and more. It is so much fun and a great exercise. I plan to do series of artwork of greenway animals.

Totally worth it! I have started from every entrance, or circled back at each, and this is a FABULOUS walk. Be aware that talking a trail alone is rarely advised... Take a hiking buddy. This runs under some underpasses, however you can get a morning stroll in before that, from each entrance if Im not mistaken! Thanks

Weve previously done the McMullen and McAlpine Creek segments of the greenway. This time we parked on Johnston Road and did the Four Mile Creek portion of the greenway. The parking lot on Johnston Road is a little small and cramped but it works. This segment of the greenway was about two miles, making it a four mile round trip walk to get back to the parking lot we started at.This was probably my least favorite portion of the greenway. It feels less scenic than the other portions. Theres not much marshy area. Youre mostly in residential backyards. It was still a nice place to go for a walk and enjoy the nice weather though.

Great scenic trail. Actually in to highway 51 McMullen creek entrance and back is approximately 11.5 miles. Very flat with paved, wood boardwalk, and some packed gravel trails. Plenty of areas to sit and rest, or to watch for wildlife. A word of caution on wood boardwalks when wet. Parking at other entrances. Carmel rd. with restrooms, and Hwy 51 McMullen entrance. Great place to bring the family for a long ride or walk.

Very beautiful Greenway. This greenway is paved and has a couple of boardwalks. Its a pretty busy Greenway with many walkers, runners, and cyclists. The scenery tends to change from flat land, to many trees, making this greenway very enjoyable. Lastly, the Greenway connects to Lower McAlpine and McMullen Creek Greenways. I would recommend taking a stroll here!
