Saw the Young Frankenstein play. Theater is small but comfortable. And the play was great! There is a concession stand with a good variety of drinks and snacks.

Ive been going to shows around Charlotte for over a decade, and id never been here. i dont know how i missed it, but it is a mistake i will dedicate myself to rectifying! cozy little spot, great performances, good price, intimate setting, and a mix of established and up and coming talent.

Odd Couple was great. Theater in great shape for such an older building.

I went to see the Christmas Carol that my boyfriend bought tickets for us. He has been many times. This is my 2nd time with him.

Great location. Easy parking and great for smaller performances. I have attended many here over the years and have always been pleased.

Small quaint and not a bad seat in the house. Small assortment of wines and simple snacks. Overall exclusive is fun for the family and at a very reasonable cost.

Stellar regional theater.....especially under the direction of Ron Law and with accompanyist Lindsey Schroeder.

Aint Misbehavin was absolutely Amazing! Each vocalist did their thing! Wish it could be extended beyond this weekend so more would have the pleasure to experience a phenomenal performance! Kudos Everyone!!!

Great intimate theater, not too many seats but not too few, always has a welcoming feel to it. Actors are excellent. The snacks and drinks are very inexpensive and the shows are always fun! Its been in Charlotte for 90 years now, and still going strong, so come support your local theater and enjoy one of the many excellent shows they have to offer!

The Addams Family musical was fantastic. It was well done with minimum use of props and scenery. The actors and actresses did a great job and some of the singers were outstanding!! I really enjoyed the show and will return to see others. Make sure to get there early for parking!!

We saw an amazing show. But it was so hot in there every one was fanning themselves. But clean restrooms and you can buy drinks there.

Hosts foreign film series, which is great. Drawback is shabby location, very small screen.

Theater is an older facility with lots of simple charm but dont expect many amenities modern theater-goers are used to. Wonderful location in a classy Old Charlotte neighborhood, but parking can be a challenge. Secret: go past the theater a half block (headed uptown), and turn right to find a no-charge parking lot thats rarely full in the evening. Hey, If youre a Charlottean, consider attending a monthly film screening here (by the Charlotte Film Society), always followed by intelligent conversation about good cinema. Serious film buffs never miss it!

Attended a production of Seussical Jr the Musical. The theatre was kid friendly and provided booster seat for children to see the production.

Had a great time. Saw Spring Awakening they did an awesome job.

I cannot even put into words how fantastic date night to Theatre Charlotte was for us! The Cry Baby performance was phenomenal! We were so impressed by the talent from every single person involved in this performance. We definitely walked away talking about the show for the rest of the night! The cast, stage props, wardrobe, music....all of it was just absolutely wonderful!!! Thanks Theatre Charlotte for a great night!!

Just moved to the area. Have seen the Christmas Carol play many times elsewhere and thoroughly enjoyed this production. Scrooge was fantastic and loved Christmas Past. The entire cast was great. Theatre is small and makes for a pleasant evening.

Saw the opening night production of A Time to Kill. It was amazing and well acted!! Great local theater.

Crimes of the heart is a brilliant , witty , and pleasantly heart warming story that will put a smile on your face . The beautiful young lassie who plays Meg has a wonderful future on stage. Talented , charming and engaging !!!

Went here for Gay Charlotte Film Festival. What a great venue, and great event! The parking is very limited, but you could park on the street during the movies. If youre going here for some other event you should check into the parking times.
