These guys are such thoughtful, attentive instructors and coaches. They make every student feel welcomed, valued, and capable. Watching them perform is always so much fun. I’m so excited to continue my performance journey with them!!

We had such a great time at Saturday nights show. The minute we walked in everyone was so friendly. The show was so funny we laughed the entire time! Everyone is so talented, quick whitted and so funny my cheeks hurt from laughing so much! Looking forward to going to the one-year anniversary show! Thank you for the laughs and great entertainment ! It was an awesome night!

This is such a wonderful theatre. So many amazing shows to see on any given weekend. The owners are extremely kind, and the classes they offer are some of the best times I’ve had in years.

Great place to see an Improv comedy show. Small, intimate theater that offers a few local craft beers and wine. CATCH also offers improv comedy classes where you can learn the art of improv. I would recommend this as a great place to spend a Friday date night or go with a group and then after show walk over to all the breweries and bars in LoSo.

It was a comedy improv show and alot of fun

It’s all about laughs!!Stop in one weekend night and catch a hilarious improv show featuring some of the funniest folks in town. It’s a great way to laugh off a tough week and enjoy some fun with friends in a really cool space. Wine, beer, and snacks are available.You can also take improv training here from hilarious instructors and learn to use and enhance your natural sense of humor (all humans are innately funny).

More like visiting a class than an actual show. Would not go back.

I met the owners at another event in Charlotte and learned about CATCh and their beginners improv class. I had been thinking about doing something more than watching Netflix at night and really wanted a creative outlet. I signed up and Ive been through 3 classes now and its been awesome. Im learning the secrets of the art and of letting the words flow. I am surprised at how much comedy comes out of everyone in the class when we just let it happen. I recommend this for anyone from the bold, to the shy, and the in between. My class has them all.

Nice improv studio!

I signed up for Level 1 Improv with CATCh after having done improv solely with a group of actors Id worked with for years. I was so nervous moving to a new city and starting over. But from day 1, Kevin and Carey were warm and helpful and funny and kind. The class was challenging but worth the work and the lessons learned apply to so much more than improv. If you are looking for something different, sign up. My classmates from Level 1 (almost 2 years ago) are some of my closest friends in Charlotte. Many of us wound up in the same Level 2 class (which was even harder but really pushed us to be stronger). And now, Im in a CATCh sponsored improv troupe with those same friends. Its okay to be nervous but sign up anyway. Its worth facing those nerves for all the wonderful times youll have.

When I signed up for my Improv Level One class at CATCh, I was terrified. I had literally no experience in performance. I wanted to challenge myself and I decided to jump into the deep end.What began as an exercise in overcoming fear has developed into a love of the artform--wholly as a result of the encouragement and instruction by Kevin Shimko and Carey Head in addition to my awesome classmates at CATCh.If you would like to explore a new hobby and are interested in improv, I highly recommend CATCh. I honestly cant imagine a more welcoming and nurturing environment for the inexperienced. SAY YES!
