Great place to learn Improv and is really a great time. After getting through the 3 levels, the cost to continue classes drops drastically. Additionally, if you take classes, you can attend shows for free if it isnt sold out.As far as attending shows, the seating is very comfortable and its a very intimate environment. Its also pretty inexpensive ($10 - $12) and a good value.Overall, Im glad I took the classes and did a few shows, unfortunately I wasnt able to keep going due to scheduling conflicts I had a good experience!

One of my favorite places to go when in town. Located in The Music Factory area inside Wet Willies, reasonably priced, and just an all around fun place to pass a few hours by for the evening. Actors/Actresses are very talented and you get a chance to engage them all throughout the performance with audience participation. Very fun each time Ive attended!

My children are so special. I love them so much that they each have their own daddy. They dont have to share.. I was dying.

Brought a group of friends to the improv show and had an absolute blast! Cozy, intimate environment that always has original content :) Definitely will be returning

Ive been performing for over 10 years around the US, and I have to say this is a great theater. Fun shows, always trying new things, and a great community of people. Highly recommend seeing a show here.

I have taken the Improv Comedy classes and must say its been the most consistent fun Ive had in years. You will learn alot about public speaking, sharing the stage, and letting the funny happen naturally. Im on a great team that I absolutely enjoy playing with. It doesnt even feel like a performance. Just playing with friends in front of an audience. I would recommend to anyone whos even remotely curious about Improv.

I laughed so hard I was sore next day.Ive never been to improv show before Charlotte Comedy Theater. So didnt know what to expect. Once I got in and saw the comfy couches on the one hand I thought cool, on the other hand thought crap! are they going to pick on me (a fear of mine with all stand up comedy)They are inside a bar (but a separate room) so there is food and drink service straight to your seat which is awesome.Oh Man was it FUN FUN FUN (21+) These guys are on top of their game. They do line games (like whose line is it anyway) where you shout a suggestion and they create comedy around it on the spot. Waaaay cool.Also did long form.. thats an entirely another form of art. Where the people are in and out of the scenes and I dont know how they do it, but its magical.I am hooked. I have taken other friends with me and they had just as much fun.I now go to Improv shows whenever I travel to a new city, and I can say Ive been to 3-4 different places like (Charleston, Phoenix, LA) I thought this crew in Charlotte was better than all others so far.I highly recommend it.

Keli is an amazing teacher. Now, when people laugh at me, its because I want them to!
