It was nice to get to see classic movies in the theater. The nachos and popcorn were very good. The price was great deal. Staff is awesome, excellent time.

Me and my roommates went to see a movie and we had the entire theater to ourselves. Its was a really cool experience, but its a clean place. The parking was hard to find thought.

I will not allow myself to give it 5 stars because I could be slightly biased as it is my regular cinema of choice.They have made many changes over the years and I enjoy basically all of them. They switched to a self serve style for concessions. You still have to buy the containers, but you can control popcorn and topping amount. It also allows you to mix your soda/slushie choices and get refills as you like. Only downside is the floor by the soda machines tends to be sticky.

Tuesday deals rock. Bathrooms were clean. For an older theater it wasnt bad at all. Daytime movie. Not sure what it is like at night. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Great place to watch a movie with friends

Ive been coming here for a few years now. I love that there is an arcade and it looks like they cleaned the room really well and rearranged the games. The service is fast and theres a self serving ticket counter if needed. The popcorn and drinks (soda or icee) are refill free at any size AND theres popcorn topping seasoning free too! The stadium style theaters are fine but the seats arent the most comfortable but like just deal with it. You can park in the garage that Park Place is in and if you get out of your movie before 5 (I think) then you can grab a parking waiver thing and you should be all good, after 5 you dont owe any parking fee.Also you can buy a gigantic bag of popcorn for 12$. Im talking about a gigantic clear trash bag full. If you want butter then you have to buy a drink cup and fill it up. But the bag of popcorn is huuuuuuge.The building recently painted the stairwell and doors and it looks great!

My daughter and I always go to Marquee Cinema 7. Its convenient seats are comfortable the popcorn seems to be always fresh LOL.

Everything was good except we asked for an empty cup so we could put popcorn in it for our young boy and was told it would cost us $4.00. Are you kidding me after we just spent over $35.00 at the concession over and above our 5 movie tickets.Get real folks Damn.

Love this theatre...bottomless popcorn and drink refills while youre watching your movie. Tuesdays are $5.50 all day except 3D and special event movies. Parking in building is 0.75 for 4 hours before 6 pm.

Hands down the best movie theater in Charleston. Endless refills on popcorn & beverages, as you self serve. Which is great for people who love extra butter and various seasonings on their popcorn. The theater is also usually very clean, bathrooms included! All the staff there are very nice and attentive!

I enjoyed going to this movie theater because you can order your popcorn container size and fill it up yourself and add as much hot butter and as much seasoning as you would like! I think it makes the service more fast and efficient for everyone. its conveniently located downtown with plenty of parking options.

Favorite Cinema in Charleston.The ticket prices are a tad bit lower than other theaters. Check out their website to see special pricing for certain days/people.Its nothing short of any other movie theater I have visited. Its also quiet and typically theres no large crowds! Score!! In addition, there is a decent little arcade. Its a convenient downtown location. There is a parking garage, well I have never experienced any trouble.Nice movie screens & clean theaters. The sound seems to be pretty crystal clear too.The popcorn is the best! Oh, and its all you can eat/drink (soft drinks, slushees, popcorn - theyre all self serve and you are allowed to refill as many times as your heart desires. I always take my dad a fresh bucket of corn

The movie theater is great. The all you can eat popcorn and drinks is a great deal. The manager Mike is outstanding!! I would recommend this theater for your next movie going experience!! Oh and if you show the parking garage tenant your ticket its only $0.75 to park.

My girlfriend and I go to movies at Park Place Cinema a couple times a year. The staff is always extremely nice & friendly. They have a decent game room for you and the family to play in while waiting for the movie to start. They also have all you can eat Popcorn, Drinks, Nachos and Ices that are all self serve.

Fairly comfortable movie theatre in downtown Charleston. Parking garage nearby. They will likely show more artsy kinds of films that wont play at the urban screens. Caught up on some Oscar contenders here that werent playing anywhere else.

You can refill your own drinks and popcorn. Watched an action movie with alot of shooting but turns out I got hit in the shoulder. Now thats realism.

Would be nice of parents were not allowed to bring toddlers to horror films. Had to leave and get a refund because an approximate 4 year old was brought to see Pet Semetary. They did give the refund but I wish a policy was in place to prevent this

I love going to the movies. My wife and I usually go to park place because its close to home and they got great snacks. This place is relaxing, friendly staff, great cinematic sounds, and they serve cherry coke. We enjoy this place and recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and watch a movie.

Pretty nice. If you dont know about it, they have giant bins you can get all the popcorn and butter and drinks around serve that you want. Auditoriums are small, comfortable and clean

Its was a rather negative experience. They over charged me and I have to go in Monday to get my money back. The lady at the concession stand also didnt know what she was doing and caused my card to be blocked. She swiped it too many times and my bank sent me a text and email asking about fraudulent charges. All around bad.

A little pricey, but was quick and easy to get in and be seated for a movie. There is a game room too, but some of the games have not been operating when I go.

I really like the fact of serving yourself when eating, but the seating in the theater we were in smelled weird and we paid to see a 3D movie and the glasses or the movie one or the two didnt work and the screen was all blurry, wont watch a 3D movie there again. Overall it was okay.

Sound was fairly comfortable, for an action movie! Comfortable seating with high-backed chairs.

Park Place Stadium Cinema isnt the newest or the best Movie Theatre, but is conveniently located downtown off the interstate. The staff are friendly and helpful. What is neat is if you pay the price for popcorn and/or drink(s), they are self serve (go back for more), with butter and a variety of flavorings for the popcorn! The areas are clean and well maintained. I always enjoy seeing a movie here.

If you want movie theater popcorn go here. Its unlimited and self serve so you can use all the butter and seasoning you want. Seats are fairly comfortable, not the best but way better than Marquette. If you go on a week night the theater is likely to be empty for a movie thats been out for more than a week

Of the three theatres in the area, I think the seats are most comfortable here. Its slightly cheaper than the other two, but being downtown, youre probably going to pay for parking. Its only 75 cents to park at the adjacent garage though. The self serve popcorn and soda stations were a novel idea, but if Im paying that much for popcorn, they could at least fill the bag for me...the popcorn dispenser machine doesnt always work great anyway. But they keep the place clean and the staff is nice.

If you can get past all of this, youll have a convenient theater to visit. Though, I would recommend going a little out of the way to Marquee or Great Escape.

They tend to get some of the films that you normally wouldnt see at a big theatre. Unlimited drinks and popcorn after you buy. The facility does need some updates to their atmosphere to make it a little more inviting

Refills are great and low cost. Just hate seeing the kids miss out on working behind the counter. I am not a fan of any self service retailer. Fix your own drinks and popcorn, next thing will be peddles at the seat to generate your own electricity to power the show. My wife had a good laugh with the seating in the theater. They will fold you in half if you are short.

The prices are not only lower than the competition, but you can butter/salt/powder cheese your own endless popcorn in any size you choose to buy. The free refills also apply for the drinks, including the icee which is the same price as the soda/tea. The seating is standard stadium style with comfortable reclining seats that have folding arm rests with the standard cup holders cup holders. Screens, projection and audio quality are great. Ive found that at during the times that Ive gone, crowding has not been an issue and my visits have been quite pleasant. Parking is available at municipal parking in the same building and getting a picket from the ticket counter will grant you .75¢ parking upon exit.
