We love this cozy underground cinema that brings unusual and often inspiring movies that we wouldnt otherwise see in Charleston.

Great little indie micro-theater...hidden under Taylor Books with showings Friday and Saturday night at 730. Make sure to get tickets ahead of time as it usually sells out. The 29 seat theater is truly intimate and makes the viewing experience unique. It showcases new and almost new narrative and documentary films from around the world not available anywhere else in the area. Until the new site is ready you can get tickets from West Virginia international film festival website.

Volunteers have worked hard - and still are - to make this intimate movie theatre a real treat in Charleston. They have movies you wont see in mainstream multiplexes. And they sell popcorn, candy, soda, beer and wine for bargain prices. Friendly, cozy and fun!

Occassionally they get those independent movies that are only showing in the big cities. Their micro-theater only seats about 30 people. Its best to go to their website and buy tickets in advance if its a movie you really want to see on that day they are showing it, as sometimes the shows are sold out.

Cozy, independent theatre in the basement of Taylor Books. Selection of approximately three feature length movies each week with each running for one month. These are the types of movies that would never make it to theulti plexes in a town the size of Charleston
