Wonderful place to kick back and appreciate nature. Today a humming bird hovered inches from me. Great view of the I&M Canal. Easy to slightly less easy walking paths.

Beautiful forest preserve. Fishing biking, hiking trails. Migrating pelicans love it here️ along with lots of other wild life.

This place is always very quiet. So pretty and great for a venue.

I walk my dogs here ,I always enjoy the area .People should obey the trail rules they dont always have their dogs on leashes which causes problems for others ,nor do they pick up their dog waste why shouldnt they if I do ? The trails are very nice. I would reccomend it just wish others respected the comfort zone of others .I was almost run over by a group of bikes who thought they had the right of way .

The restored prairie is a favorite place of mine. Love the prairie plants and birds.

Nice trails, seen alot of wild animals. Alot of parking. Watch out if you get hurt or in a car accident, the forest preserved insurance company sucks,

Its a nice place to walk around and look at trees, but the water is overrun with algae. Also, this is my third trip to this place and the customer service center is never open/attended!
