A very fun experience. Lots of things to do while you wait to race. Maximum of 6 people racing at a time on the fast track. Comfortable helmets,although I would recommend contacts if you can wear them instead of glasses.

Associate at the counter had his mask on under his chin. He looked at me to walk up to the counter. I told him I was waiting for him to put his mask on. He did with no problem. We were there for an hour and a half and the go karts were wiped down once with a damp cloth. I did not feel comfortable with the way this facility is handling safety and social distancing during this pandemic especially when they are currently a hot spot. Dave and Busters and Rascals have much better practices.

Unpleasant staff at the desk. And we were told we would get right in, but ended waiting for 90 mins to finally race... nonetheless, a great experience for a family to enjoy! cart staff, race carts, and track were all worth while

This place has cool tracks set up for different ages and levels of ability. The staff was good about going over all the ins and outs. Youll get race results. My only draw back was wishing the tracks were longer. But they were still alot of fun. I need to go back soon so I can reclaim my crown and beat my daughter. Lol!

Very fun place and plenty of room. The regular carts are fun for the family racers and the fast cars are definitely fun for the aggressive people!

I’d give zero stars if I could. Significantly overpriced especially considering the service. Had the pleasure of being helped by a kid that couldn’t look up from his phone for more than about 30 seconds and was extremely rude to me when my kart turned off in the middle of the race. Every time I go I feel like nobody wants customers to be there. This used to be a great place but the customer service makes me not want to come back

The owners are super friendly. Two separate tracks with carts for all skill levels. Lots of fun and very fair pricing.

This was our first trip to Speedeezz, and it was a blast! Ive never been in a go-kart before, and the staff was super helpful in getting me set up and ready to race. By the 2nd race, I was drifting around corners with the best of them!

We had our corporate team building there one afternoon and had a blast. We did the slow carts and they were fast enough for us to get competitive and have a good time without fear of imminent death. Looking forward to having our next team building there when the time comes. Way more fun than anything weve done previously.

My two sons planned a birthday surprise for me with an afternoon of racing. We arrived at 2:00 and talked with the clerk because this was our first time racing here. The clerk said we could race two or three times every hour, and so each of us purchased seven races at $112.35 each. At 5:00 when we each finished our second race and about a dozen new people got in line to purchase tickets we decided to ask for a partial refund. The clerk said “NO REFUNDS “ and that we could come back to use the tickets at a later date. We explained that we had traveled from Davenport and had no plans to return. Once again we asked for a partial refund on the fifteen races we had purchased and once again the clerk said “NO REFUNDS”. I would not recommend this place to anyone. All of us plan to dispute the charges with our credit cards. What a rotten deal.

Terrible service, small track! U have to wait an hour an a half for ur turn to race . Wasnt busy at all (15 people at most). Got there at 230pm and waited around till 5 and was only able to race 2 times. I paid for 7 races expecting to be done racing in 2 -3 hours. I shouldnt have to wait an hour for each race. Do not book an event there. Not worth the time or 17 $ for 14 laps.

Fun for a while. Wish there was more than just the cars, like arcade or something. But it was well organized and fun. There was a line but it went by fast.

Had a blast here!!! They have a track for kids n family then a track for those that have the need for speed!!!!! Either way pricing and time in track is very fair and they even let us stay out on track a little longer if there was no line! No matter if u wanna just drive or race this is the place to be!

Went there over the weekend to take my dad out for his birthday. The desk clerk told us they take 12 mins a race and race 6 cars at a time and there was only about 15 people there. We bought 7 races each thinking it would take 3 hours max to get them all done. It took considerably longer than 12 mins between races. They were only racing 1 or 2 carts at a time most races. After we had been there over two hours and only had 2 races done we talked to the same desk clerk who originally told us the time frame and asked for a refund for the remainder races. We told him we were from out of town and could not stay any longer. He refused to give a refund and refused to get a manager. Even though we explained we were from out of town for my dads birthday they had no compassion for our situation. Terrible customer service and very misleading sales tactics. I would not recommend going to speedeez.

Terrible experience. Employees were not helpful at all. They spent more time on their phones than they did actually doing their jobs. For the first time going there it was beyond confusing, hard to tell when you were going to be up and how long it would take. Employees did not help at all with what you were supposed to do prior to or after the race, we stood around waiting for direction but never received any. We were apparently supposed to have to go check back in after our first race to get back in line for our next race, but we were never informed. After waiting an hour we were still not showing up in line for a race. The time it took to get everything set up for each race was beyond slow and could have been sped up a great amount. Not a good experience!!

Its a small track, but the carts are fast. Greatly priced especially at happy hour. The length of the race is nice too. Carts are maintained nicely, and the staff are friendly. Great place for all ages.

My 2 girls age 10 and 12 love going here. Friendly staff 2 tracks to accomodate all ages. Really was a life saver this winter!

Cedar Rapids needed a place like this!... Less restrictions allowing for a much wider audience. Can ride double, or single and still be competitive. Will return for sure.

Its nice to have an indoor go-karting track in Cedar Rapids. The go-karts are pretty quick and I like that they are electric. The track we went to is pretty good, but I do feel like the 40 mph track could be made longer. (10 turns and 26 second laps feels a little on the short end). I think it would have been much better if they combined the slow track with the fast track and alternated between the slow and fast go-karts. I am giving 3 stars due to their poor marketing strategy. Be sure you research discounts and specials before you go there. My fiance and I went in to have some fun on a Friday night. It wasnt until after the first race when we were given our laptimes sheets that showed a Friday Night Date Night special which had a decent discount. We paid full price and the attendant said you have to mention the Date Night special to get the discount, which is a pretty irritating policy, and not the impression you want first time customers to leave with. We definitely will go back, but more out of lack of other entertainment options in the area.

Speedeezz moved to a new facility in 2019 and its vastly improved. They have a low speed course for more casual sporting and a high speed course where speeds can reach 40 mph. My family came on a quiet Monday night and they let us have a few extra laps since we were the only ones there.

Nice track for a newer company and definitely a nice new facility, only downside was that some carts on the fast track were not evenly matched. Very well could have been a fluke, but was the only slightly negative part of my experience. Will defintly be returning for more racing!

When this place is busy not very fun. I was here for over 2.5 hrs and rode 2 times didnt even use all my tickets was tired of waiting in line. need to learn how to pick up the pace between races. Plus lots of races didnt run all cars because next people in line were in a bigger group. How hard is it to call out if there are 2 more people not in a group that want to go. Also could stage next race wile other race is goingw. That would make your line move alot faster than waiting 45 min for one race. Needless to say if I go back l surewill make its not busy.

Good fun and not overly expensive. Counter staff could be a little more engaging, but everyone had a good time.

They dialed my go-kart down so much that I couldnt be competitive and Im a very competitive person and a very good driver. They have complete control over the your cart while youre driving it as far as power is concerned

Pros: Inexpensive and not busy. Cheap way to spend a few minutes oversteering through corners.Cons: Between the short and narrow circuit, and carts that only briefly have to drop below max speed a couple times per lap, dont expect to race. Whoever has pole position will win.Edit: As noted in the owners reply, my review is irrelevant now that theyve upgraded facilities. I look forward to checking out the new digs sometime. :-)

Had a blast here for a bachelorette party. Went during public racing time, but it worked out great there are just a couple public tables, so not really anywhere to set anything up, but we just rotated between racing and getting in line to race again. And we were lucky it wasn’t too crazy busy. Would definitely recommend for a fun alternative activity!

This is such a great way to spend time with the family. We always have a good time and leave with a huge smile! The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Haven’t had a bad experience here yet.

Had a Fantastic time! Make sure to get a black kart they are much faster than the blue ones. $7 dollars for 15 laps is very good and 3, 15 lap races for $20 is the best value. I had a blast and kids would have a blast as well. They also have 2 sweater karts for the little ones who cant drive themselves. I promise youll have fun and they are open until midnight on Saturdays for some late night adult fun!

Terrible customer service! They where rude and I paid for pizza and they didn’t ask me what kind I wanted, after I had already paid. Also my pizza was not done. I over heard an employee talking about my kids birthday party. Flat out disrespectful! I will NOT be coming back

Place seems to be fairly well managed. They have two sets of karts, so one group of people can get buckled up and ready to go while the other group is racing. You get a decent amount of laps for each race and overall it makes for a great experience for kids, teenagers, and adults alike. Cedar Rapids has been missing a nice Go-Kart track for awhile and this one is year round fun!

Fun place, family friendly. 4 year old daughter loves riding with me in the double carts. Definitely worth a visit!

Some of the carts are faster than others. I did this as an office party, where we got there when they opened. It helps when the carts are fully charged, but they are still fun. Would return if in the area.

Stopped here for a break from driving after being cooped up in the car. Thought it would be a fun surprise for the kids and my wife to take a break and have a little fun. This place was exaxtly what we needed!!! It was super cheap, staff was great, fast go-karts, friendly and so on.... It is a decent sized track indoors that would be great for any occasion. We will be back if ever passing through Cedar Rapids again!

What a great place to take the family! My kids 10, 8, and 6 just loves Speedeezz. The staff was super friendly. We went for my daughters 10th birthday and they signed her ticket for her scrapbook and everything. Prices were more than fair. Great experience overall.

If I could leave one star I would. This place sucks, Matt (the tall one) was very prejudice towards me. I’ve watched others get away with a lot during a race, but when I was getting bumped throughout the whole race I was “reprimanded” in a rude unmannerly way. Terrible customer service. The other employees were amazing though!

Amazing place to go and great deals!!! Make sure you get one of the black carts and tell em to put it on turbo theyre fast. Staff was friendly and make a fun atmosphere. Will come back every time we are in town. Yall should put a jukebox in there.

I like this indoor go kart place so much fun they even hand you out free popcorn and the laps are cheap and you can get double carts or single cards depending on your choice or if you have kids or not it was fun I went here with family and we had a terrific time I also think that its nice they have a public restroom here and also vending machines that you can buy stuff in a nice area where you can just sit at the tables and watch other people race while you wait I absolutely love this place

Small track, but that makes it fun trying to pass. Different abilities of people also make it more challenging. Only down side is there are three different types of cars, so you dont really know if your going to get a wide one I r a skinny one. Staff is friendly.

I love driving the go karts and the freedom and breeze you feel when you go on all the turns. it is fun energetic great hard at first on turns but once you get the hang of it it is so much fun for sure to do.The workers there are kind and helpful.. they make sure your seat belts are on right and tight enough for each driver.
