Planet X recently hosted a fundraiser/ team builder for our Robotics Club. This event far exceeded our expectations! Not only was Planet X easy to work with, but they went above and beyond to help make our event memorable.Planet X allowed our kids to share their Club with others while having a blast. The kids enjoyed the Rock Climbing, Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, and other activities. The pizza is really good, and they even have Gluten Free for all of us who cannot normally partake. The GF pizza is as good (if not better) than other area restaurants, and the ice cream is truly delicious- (I think it is home made)!The staff is friendly, and always happy to help. Everyone had a blast! My kids have enjoyed fun afternoons at Planet X, attended birthday parties, and now the fundraiser/ team builder. As a parent I would highly recommend this place for all three. It was truly awesome to see our kids who are normally more serious when they are together, get to let loose and have some serious fun! Smiles all around! Thank you Planet X!!!!

Linn Grove loves working with Planet X. They are so easy to work with, great with donations for our raffle baskets and setting up school events.We had our first school event there in November and it was wonderful! The kids had so much fun, as did the parents, and for such a great price!We not only helped stock the Food Pantry at the Churches of Marion but had a great time as a school community!Pizza was great, staff was great, couldnt ask for anything better! I encourage all the schools in our area to reach out and see what Planet X can do to help you!

It wasnt a place for us. The games werent very challenging and didnt require too much skill -- they were pretty old. Was hoping for something similar to Madisons laser tag venues. The laser tag was quite old as well. The staff was nice and pleasant though. If the lights were brighter and the stuff under the trampolines was cleaned up the atmosphere would feel cleaner. Bumper cars might be a bit more fun if there were less of them and if they drove straight. I bet the games would be more appealing if they even had projectors and x-boxes -- graphics have come a long way since the machines (any of the machines) at Planet X were constructed. I have heard many people speak highly of this place, which I guess I can understand, but only if the age range is less than 18.

Planet X hosted another fantastic FUNdraiser for our local Special Olympics program. This annual event has continued to be one of the highlights of the year. Our athletes, family and friends have such a fun filled night playing games, eating great pizza and raising money for our non-profit organization! Thank you to the entire Planet X team that helped make the night go off without a hitch! Youre always so great to work with! Were looking forward to working with you again next year!

We had so much fun at Planet X raising money for Summer of the Arts! We loved playing mini golf, laser tag, bumper cars, skee-ball and so much more!! The staff was courteous and wonderful to work with. I loved the caricature artists drawings, the balloon animals, and the face painting too! Even more awesome is their pizza! :) I cant wait to go back!

St. Matthew School just hosted our first FUNdraising night at Planet X and we had a blast! It was so quick and easy to pick a date and get our event set up. Parents and kids alike enjoyed the opportunity have a night of fun away from school. All of the activities were very popular. They kept the hot and delicious pizzas coming! Laser tag was very popular and well organized. And having Papa Balloon and the amazing face painting artist there as well were super special bonuses that made the evening extra fun! Most importantly, we are so grateful for the generosity of Planet X in giving back to support our school! You guys definitely put the FUN in fundraising!

We recently held our organizations fundraiser at Planet-X. I cannot believe how easy it was to set that up. The staff at Planet-X took care of EVERYTHING for this fundraiser, that includes leading up to the event, the event itself and afterwards. They were extremely helpful and friendly during out event. The delicious pizzas were constantly coming out of the oven and we could watch them being fresh. The choice in activities and games was awesome. All of our families had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Planet-X for a fundraiser for your nonprofit, or for your childs birthday or even just to come hang out! Theres tons to do for all ages.

Our organization had a FUNdraiser at Planet X. Everything that Planet X said they would provide they did and then some!!! What a great resource to have in our community. Planet X provided a fun and affordable experience for all that attended. The local talent that Planet X brought in for our event, exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely recommend using Planet X if trying to raise funds for an organization. They delivered EVERYTHING they said exactly as promised.

Not a bad little place to take the kids. Especially if your little ones like to play arcade games for tickets and prizes. Young staff but very courteous and helpful! It cost us $30 for 2 kids to do whatever they want for an hour. $9 pitchers of beer for the adults with a good selection on tap. Did not try the pizza but it looked delicious. Will definitely come back if were in the area!

Planet X has become such a great experience for our family and our school! Being the PTO President at Novak Elementary is such a great opportunity to be involved with the community, so when I can find a partner, like I found in Planet X, that genuinely cares about the surrounding area also, it is very exciting. Moving our schools annual carnival to Planet X last year was a nerve wrecking decision, but shortly after the choice was made, it was clear that we had decided well! Everything was handled professionally and personally by the Event Coordinator Karol and the owner Cameron. We had an amazing turnout, the price for admission was great, we were able to hold our silent auction, and raise a great amount of money from the admission. The best part, outside of the kids and families having a great time, enjoying wonderful homemade pizza and ice cream, and not having to worry about weather, was that we literally showed up and went home! Everything was handled, every request we had was met with a smile, and we had a great turnout from older grade levels. I would strongly encourage any school, group, or business to consider Planet X for their next event.

A great place to host a gathering, absolutely loved the atmosphere! Not to mention some of the best pizza around and made from scratch!?! These guys really know how to show a group a good time. Cant wait to come back!

I work for a summer camp and we took our 40+kids today. I was rather disgusted upon walking around and checking the place out. Dirty, dark, and dingy. Not sure anything is cleaned or sanitized or monitored very well. The 3 teens/young adults working were less than enthusiastic about their jobs and paid more attention to their cell phones than their job. Many of the arcade games had out of order signs on them or were simply a rip off. The food area looked very unappetizing. While on the bumper cars a little scrap of paper caught fire from the sparks and when we hollered at the employee about it his response was Yeah, sometimes they spark Very unconcerned. The bathrooms were also disgusting, no locks on the 1st 5 stalls in the womens bathroom and in general not too clean looking. Good thing our kids are easily amused, however many ran out of money quickly and got bored with the activities that didnt require tokens. I made the comment that if I have children I will not be taking them to this establishment. Stay away...go play outside instead.

Pizza was delicious! I expected the normal cardboard stuff that goes with these places and I was pleasantly surprised! It was a great way to pass a couple of hours with the family. My children LOVED the rock-climbing wall and the bumper cars.

Fun place for kids. Seems kind of small but serves its purpose really well. Everything is well kept. Food is boring. I will be going back.

Love Planet X, my 12, 11, 7 and 6 year old beg to go there! Its hours worth of fun with so much to do!The staff is friendly and helpful. Anytime there is a problem they are right on it to fix it. We had 2 birthday parties there this year and plan on having more there next year!

I wont ever go again. Worst experience ever!First of their pricing is outrageous for the little things they have to do. Their menu on how to do what the charge makes no sense. They only offer pizza. No single slices or appetizers. They have ice but it looked super gross. It was melted and soupy looking. Their was no workers to be found when you needed them. The mini golf course is so small you cant tell when the next hole begins and ends. We went to get the prizes with our tickets and the workers kept walking away from us. The last guy even tried to help the people next by ignoring us. There was no place to sit. A waste of money and time. We paid for two hrs and did even stay the whole time.

Loved the place, I will always remember the fun I had.

Planet X has FREE ADMISSION and the Pizza is the best in town! I love that I can give my kids a handful of tokens and sit and enjoy the free wifi, although I usually end up playing too. ;) Great for all ages; the ultimate place for birthdays; perfect for corporate parties. CLEAN facility and their employees are always making sure you are having a great time. Most of all, I am impressed with how much they give back to our local non-profits through FUNdraising and feel good knowing that I am spending my dollars in a business that gives.

Planet X should be closed down. It is the worst place Ive ever been to in my life. It smelled awful and everything felt dirty. The mini golf course was terrible do to its small size. Most of the machines were broken and the laser tag was hell on earth. I would rather eat glass shards then spend any more time out of my life in this disgrace. Soon as when I walked in I knew I regretted paying $17 bucks for 2 hours. I was bored of the place in 3 mins. The kids indoor playground felt unstable and coated with diseases. The basketball hoops were an abomination, since you could barely move in the confined area. I didnt even want to attempt at bumper cars. DONT EVER GO TO PLANET X

Planet X is such a great experience for our youth football players to celebrate the completion of another season. The team at Planet X does a tremendous job in event planning and they are so organized with their execution of the event. We plan on having a group outing every year at Planet X!-RedZone Football Academy

What a great experience for all the Special Olympians. Staff was great, pizza was fantastic, and the athletes really enjoyed themselves. Easiest fundraiser I have ever done.

Poor value. Expensive, run down, not much to do. We did the hour marathon (sprint), spent about 20min of it waiting on staff, and still ran out of things to do. Climbing wall is dangerous. Mini golf is a few boards slapped together. Bumper cars are rickety. Laser tag equipment works very poorly. If it was about half the price, might be okay. For this price? Not a chance.

I have worked with Planet X several times on fundraisers over the last few years. It is one of the easiest and least complicated ways that we have found to raise funds for our missions trip. The management and staff are always helpful.

So me and my boys were trying to do something after state volleyball, and we decided that wed go to Planet X. Worst mistake weve ever made. Dont even step foot in there if youre over 7, because you will want to die if you do. We all dropped 17 dubloons for 2 hours, which was the worst idea possible. The second we stepped in the room we knew what we had done. The 20 tokens we got were gone instantly and after that there was nothing else to do. I didnt want to touch anything, because I felt like Id instantly get pink eye if I did. The laser tag was worse than hell itself, it was so small and bland. None of us wanted to buy a pizza, because we knew that itd suck. This is honestly the worst waste of money you can possibly be apart of. I wouldve rather taken my 17 bucks and burned it. This is place is so god awful not even the antichrist would find it fun. Dont waste youre money.

It is pretty sad how far this has fallen off from what used to be an awesome family friendly place. Everything is small, cramped and most of the machines are broken/eat coins.The staff was very kind and helpful but not enough to overcome the condition of the facility. Doubtful we will ever return.

The Linn County 4-H clubs visited Planet X for a fun event and they all had a blast! The staff were extremely friendly, the games were fun, and lazer tag was a blast!

Great staff and fun games and activities. But some games did not work properly. Pizza isnt the best either.

Last arcade in the area still doing more than the most classic of arcade cabinets, has skeeball, other ticket type games.

Planet X did a wonderful job with our FUNdraiser for Prairie Creek PTO! It was the BEST and EASIEST fundraiser ever! More than 5 stars! THANKS!!!

Went to planet x for mini golf. Wont be going there for mini golf again. The course was extremely small and cramped. Compared to every other mini golf course I have been to, this one is by far the worst. Not worth the money.

Played nine holes of mini golf in about 10 minutes. The coarse is pretty small. Played skee ball once they got my token out of the broken machine. Only one machine had enough balls to play a game.

Workers were unhelpful, place is small with not much to do. Over priced and dirty. Not worth the money!

Very small not alot of games, coming from a Metro area with lots of choices Iowa does not have much to offer , pizza was ok but if this is all there is for young children it is OK at best, wish there was more for kids in IC/CR area pretty lame not alot of choices for kids in area. The one great thing they do is alot of fundraising, commend them for that.

Had my daughters 11th Birthday party here!!! Staff was excellent, helpful, and attentive. I was very pleased with the experience. The girls had an absolute blast. Looked almost out of business, many of the games were broken, and Lazer tag was glitchy and broken. I wouldnt recommend this.

Very expensive place pizza had no flavor crust was soggy has no lighting out side lost for about 30 minutes good thing was that all the employees were very nice and helpful but will not return

Place is a rip off. Tokens dont work in games often. Only 1 ticket counting machine working. There must have been 100 kids here and only 3 workers who could not keep up with requests for fixes.

Read the other reviews, I can only echo how horrible this place was. i wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money.

Expensive, run-down and not a great experience - but hey, theres not exactly a lot of arcades in the area.Upside, however, is that they have one of the very, very few F-Zero AX machines in the country.
