I love the atmosphere of being far enough from the city without having to drive a ways.

Excellent trail system. Has a little bit for everyone. Good for hiking, biking, or horses. Pretty scenic at all parts of the year. Only four stars because the middle section is frequently flooded, mostly during the first month of spring. Not much you can do about that though.

In the spring and summer I enjoy getting some exercise here. Nature in full effect with tons of butterflies. Never had a problem and I feel safe.

I ran and x-country skied the East Post to Rosedale segment for over 20 yrs. Early morning highlights: red fox, gold finches, turkeys, deer everywhere. Weekends its heavily traveled by a mix of families, runners & bicyclists. South end near the prairie, & Indian Creek Nature Center has many butterflies at times. Due to flooding, parts of the trail can difficult to ride w/out fat tires. The trail is best enjoyed on foot,rather than bike especially at busy times.

I just randomly met a cute guy along the trail and we fished together. Nice guy, I hope to see him again

Sac and Fox is a great trail for biking or running. It gets a little washed out after a heavy rain, so it is usually best to wait a day or two. Definitely worth checking out for an afternoon ride on crushed limestone.It is also shaded for most of the trail which helps if it is hot outside.

I love this trail!!! I live close and walk different parts of the trail almost daily. My pooch and I love to explore and occasionally see some deer or other wildlife. Great place to go walking or biking!

I dont know much about the actual trail, but the fishing there is pretty good!

Trail is great but you can no longer drive down to the roller dam and that is a long walk

A well managed and constructed multiuse trail. Can be busy at times and a mixture of bikes, people, dogs, and the odd horse.
