Beautiful November sunny day in the 70s to head to a park. Went to spacious Noelridge Park to practice flying new drone. Several people there, all practicing social distancing.Great playground area for young kids, newer pavilion and restrooms. Also had porta potties nearby. Pond near pavilion with geese swimming, very relaxing. Some park benches available at various places along sidewalk. Plenty of parking. 11-05-20.

This location is a very open and enjoyable greenspace right in the heart of Cedar Rapids. A locations with many reason to attend. Be it a birthday party or family reunion held at the pavilion. To swim at the pool in the summer in an attempt to beat the heat. To bring your children so that they can laugh and play at the playground. The walking/running trail is always a good way to get in a bit of exercise, and so is the small gym area located next to the bathroom/pavilion. Its also enjoyable to look upon the flowers they grow here in the gardens in the spring and summer.

Lots of space. Great playground area for kids. Picnic tables along edge.

It was my first time there and I absolutely loved it!!! I liked the fact that they have double swings that Mom and Baby can swing together and and have that bonding time!!! I couldnt get my older 3 to leave lol so i take it they had a blast too!!!

I visited the butterfly garden. As its prime monarch season, the garden was ablaze with dozens of monarch! There were also a few hummingbirds making the most of the beautiful blossoms. I also swung by the farmers market and got some fresh tomatoes and a small watermelon. It was like a mini vacation!

I really enjoy this park. Im come here often. Its great for playing Nantic Games. Pokemon Go, Ingress, Wizards United. Thats only half of it though because it is beautiful here. The gardens and pond are amazing. If Im not visiting playing GPS games. Its great to just pull up and relax for a minute. Me and my girlfriend had an anniversary yesterday. One of the things we did was splurge at a favorite eatery, pull up to Nolridge in front of the pond. It was beautiful with the sun setting reflecting off the water. We ate, exchanged gifts and cards and had a really good time.

Noelridge green house is amazing! Open House again today Easter Sunday 11 am to 5 PM.

Beautiful place to go for a walk for kids to play at the park or grab a blanket and have a picnic! Beautiful flower gardens

Our group meets in the pavilion every Friday morning. Lots of families enjoying the geese and the pond. Healthy activity everywhere here.

Nice park, perfect for taking the dog on a walk.

Too bad the road construction never gets done in this town - the awesome park would be a lot easier to get in to.

One of the best park l have ever seen in my life you need patience to visit this park and strength to have a walk in this best place can click alot of pictures in mid summer because of the greenery and enjoy by doing activities like cycling, skating etc.

Nice walking trail, playground with accommodations for kids with special needs, training equipment for adults, lots of lawn and gardens. Something for every season. Tennis courts being converted into ice rink this winter. Aquatic park open in summer. City greenhouses. Butterfly shelters. Concerts in summer. Whats not to love?

Great walking trail with mix of sun and shade, hill and flat. And lots of wide open space, just space. The newer prairie and fruit trees are wonderful improvements. Then theres the pond, the Lebanon cedars, the gardens, the greenhouse, seasonal farmers markets, the stream and bridge, playgrounds, tennis courts, the pool and so much wide open space.

Really nice place to walk or visit with friends.

Farmers Market .Love it !

Park is a great place for a family get together or picnic. It is a wonderful place for a quiet walk or a place to walk your dog. Lots of picnic areas, a petting zoo and play grounds. This is a nice area that houses Old MacDonald Farm. The farm is small but it is like a petting zoo. You can walk around the animal enclosures and interact with them. The farm has rabbits, chickens, pigs, calves, goats and ducks. The park also has a public swimming pool. There are paths for walking which is great.

I got Married in Noel Ridge Park back in 1997 by the pond. It was so beautiful and the Sun was hidden until we said our vows, then our offiater said, you may now kiss your bride and the Sun came out and shined down directly on us. Its was so awesome and wonderful! If any one is ever thinking bout getting married here, ya should, its very nice place to say your vows to each other! I loved it and still do! Cheerio! God Bless!

Has a very convenient and long trail to walk, a vast butterfly garden that is beautiful when in bloom! Child & pet friendly!

An amazing park! It has a really nice pool and splash pad for hot summer days, and a fantastic variety star playground which is very accessible. Nearby there is an adult workout area, a shelter, and a pond. It also has a long gravel walking loop, a flower garden, a stream and bridge, and they transformed open fields within the park into a beautiful wild flower pollinator zone!Its a large, beautiful park that has just about anything you could ask for in a city park

Beautiful gardens when in season, and an enjoyable walking trail. Im not as big a fan of the new playground, but I may just be nostalgic for the old style one that I played on growing up near there.

Whoever does the landscaping did an amazing job this year. I especially love the section that is all foliage plants (no flowers). Normally Im all about the flowers, but the color scheme was so beautiful. The colors pretty much make you wish it could be fall year round.

Most of the trees are broken from The storm I wouldnt go there until its cleaned up

I enjoy sitting in this quiet park whether its for a walk or just sitting. Nature is so beautiful here. Summer trees are the best.

A nice natural feeling park. It provides a pleasing walking experience whether on the paved walking loop or through its meadows. The newly added accessible-for-all playground seems to be a bit. I also like hanging out by the pond and watching the geese and ducks. Another nice feature of park is its flower gardens. For the Spring/Summer 2019 season theres construction on Council St. NE which may impact access to the West side park entrances

Nice little place for a stroll if the mall is closed. Construction nearby recently but easy to avoid if you arent in a car. Lots of flowers. I dont know how to review outside. Its outside. What do you expect from outside. Weather dependent I suppose. Not really the parks fault if the weather is bad. Biggish. Plenty of room to sit against a tree and read a book on curbing your expectation of a park if this seems uninformative. Youre reading an online review of outside. Safe to say you should go outside.

A good sized park with lots of grass, flowers, and a creek. There is also a playground of above average size for the kids. Be careful if it has rained recently, as a couple sections of the park can take a little while to soak up the water.

If youre a Pokemon Go player, this is a jackpot. Lots of gyms, tons of pokestops, usually a nest of something going on. If youre a parent with kiddos, also a great place. Awesome playground, lots of grassy areas for them to run, a pond full of waterfowl to watch, great pavilion. If you like to exercise outside, bingo again. Excellent trail winds around the entire lower park. There is also a new exercise playground with several simple machines for stretching, lifting, etc. The upper area of the park is beautifully kept by master gardeners and volunteers. Excellent photo opportunities, flowers, benches, tons of beauty.

Beautiful walking trail

Been going here since I was a child. Now bringing my son when Im back in town. There are wonderful updates. The playground is great and theyve put in a beautiful wildflower prairie.

My kids miss the old play area and the climbing trees, but they always find stuff to do and are reluctant to leave.I like it because I know the equipment is safer.

I just love this park since I found it after moving here. It takes a bit to get there with all of the construction-but well worth it!!! Awesome walking path, even though short, I can actually walk through the grassy nolls and get an even better walk in! People are very courteous on the path too.

Beautiful. Clean. Accessible for individuals with disabilities. The playground is spectacular. We love taking individuals here.

Nicely manicured, lots of different things to do, wonderful Aquatic Center with very well trained staff of young people. I love going here with family and highly recommend.

Pool is very big and has enough space for you to play catch with a football and to play around. In a busy day it gets a bit crowded and uncomfortable. Every once and a while you find a used bandaid floating around. But other than that its a pretty good pool

Beautiful park with always lots to do. Only knock is they have a water problem in the upper part that makes it soggy sometimes. The new walking path from upper to lower section when it and the road finally open will be a nice edition.

Love the pool and even the splash pad is cold and clean but a little tricky to find. We had soccer practice there a few years ago and the parking was interesting and a bit full if theres a farmers market at the same time.

Its been a little tricky this year getting into the market area,with the road work.I always like the flower gardens in the park. They keep it looking so nice.

One of the good places in cedar rapids area to spend some time for relaxing in a nice summer evenings. It has a 4 tennis court and a park and play area for kids. The Swimming pool is good and has an entrance fee of $5 for adult I guess. Good for kids and family and teens. It has something for all ages...

So much awesome equipment for the kids to play on! The place is kept very clean and there are birds just walking around for everyone to enjoy. Loved the pond and workout equipment. Super inventive park, its a favorite of ours.

Very nice park however they could do a better job on the trail it always seems to be muddy in spots after a rainfall. When we are walking our dogs we always make sure to pick up if they go potty but have noticed other people do not! Wish they would.

I love it, the pool is a bit small but thats okay!! The parks are fun and dont have those pesky woodchips. The gardens are really pretty and kids play in the creek. Also a great play for pokemon go players ;D

Noelridge Park is a beautiful, well kept park with a .8 mi walking trail, a public swimming pool/water play area, new & updated playground, pavilions, a pond & more. I would recommend visiting Noelridge to anyone.

Its a good place to have parties at and have fun and the playground is new and big and has many slides and fun swings for kids and also has a nice sidewalk trail to jog or run or walk on

We love this park! The new playground is wonderful, though we are disappointed they tore the old one out, we were hoping for two options there. The trail around the park is nice and there is so much to see. There is a great botanical garden in the summer and they started a fruit orchard too.There is a splash pad with another playground on the other side of the park, tennis courts and a pool/aquatic center.We always have a good time here!

Beautiful park. Very well maintained, huge amount of space for all sorts of activities. Parks for children and a water park as well! There is also a rock track that snakes around the entire park that is perfect for long runs or event training. Could not ask for a better place to have a picnic or a family outing. Highly recommended for those that play Pokémon Go as well.

Fabulous swim pool for all ages. Pavilion was clean and had electricity.
