Love every event I have attended there. New experiences and interesting people and friends.

I was most interested to see inside the old funeral home (Turners). Was sort of disappointed in the displays. Seems like the old location on 1st Ave had better displays.

Attended presentation on aging Quilts. First time in New History center. Very nicely done!

Over priced for what it is. Nothing downstairs. A few semi interesting displays on the second floor.

The history center is a wealth of Cedar Rapids history. But, be forewarned, the Grant Wood studio is only open in the summer months.

Staffed with some excellent people. The museum has exhibits from pre-historic Iowa through the mid-twentieth century. Further exhibits regarding somewhat more contemporary events rotate throughout the year.The museum also contains an extensive library of historical documents for anyone doing local history research.
