I live in Palm Springs. So when it gets CRAY HT this beach is my GO TO spot. I just love the Beach Vibe!

It was a great day. Its the day before the Iron-man kids fun run, lots of preparation going on at tge harbor and strand. They are dredging to fill in the sand on the beach right here, so the water was pretty merky and almost muddy looking. But its always a great day when your at the beach.

Not as good a place to enjoy since the jetty was ripped out last summer.

Fun spot to play in the waves. The water temperature was pretty comfortable.

This place is awsome. Great views and facilities theres a life guard station nearby.

Relatively easy to find street parking which was free. Cool ocean breeze. Lots of runners along the beach. Bring your shoes and join! Oh, dont forget your swim suit and/or trunks for after your run.

Carlsbad, CA on a chilly day watching the sunset and trying to see that proverbial greeen flash at sunset - no luck - again - but the sound, surf, sand, and natural beauty makes one forget about the momentary green flash at sunset (seeing Bigfoot might be easier :)

Fantastic spot for sun, sand and surf. Quiet and parking if you are early. The waves are good and frequent (weather allowing) and not too crowded. Great place for young and old alike to learn.

Beautiful views, not super crowded. Parking was a little difficult and some homeless around... But everyones super friendly!

If one walks done beach headed south, there is plenty of sand on the beach especially in the summer time when sands begin to accrete.
