Nice park overall. Wish there was a shade structure. Carlsbad doesnt seem to believe in shade structures for parks unfortunately. Encinitas has quite a few parks with shade so you can actually go mid-day

Great park, truly hidden! Lots of paved sidewalk for kids to bike around without fear of them wandering into the street. Good playground equipment and nice picnic areas too.

A shaded and small park which is great for young ones to explore. Clean restrooms as well. Not terribly busy because of its size and hard to find location.

Large park great for young kids. There is grass and lots of room to run. They even have a smaller playground for Younger kids

Fun, open layout. Plenty of room to run around, swing sets and jungle gyms. Little kids and big kids can have fun here!

I love this park. Its a great area. Lots of shade, the play grounds are covered up so no one gets sunburned while having fun. They have an area for young children and a separate area for the older kids. Which is nice. the ground is some kind of squishy mat stuff, i honestly forgot the name just now, so no sand or any of that horrible mulch. It has swings, tons of grass space to kind of lay a blanket (maybe a picnic basket) and relax. Theres small trails that go around the area so kids with bikes and scooters can ride around. Theres a dog park a few feet away...Only bummer part about the park is the parking lot is very small.

Well maintained with clean and decent bathrooms. Great for kids, and every time Ive been there, kids and parents were considerate. Rather small parking lot, but nearby street parking is plentiful/close.

Great park for kids of all ages, two different play areas for different ages and swings. Sadly, they dont allow dogs , even on a leash.

Great place to take your kids / grandkids

Beautiful, tranquil and super clean. I love coming here. The park is so well maintained and its always fun because the kid goes crazy. We went at about 5pm and set up a BBQ. Super fun!The park was nearly empty which made it even more fun. Well maintained slides and swings. Safe area and most importantly, hidden!!!!!

Shaded areas and clean bathrooms

Love this park! Soft rubberized ground under the play areas. A smaller kid area and a larger kid area. Cement walkways to allow kids to zoom around on trikes, bikes and scooters. Fenced off from the cliff side but snakes can wander in so be careful near the bushes during snake season! Not much shade alas.

We love this sweet park. Its beautiful and has everything kiddos need to get some energy out.

Decent dog park but the parking area is gravel and the mulch in the park leads to lots of dust. On upside, bags are provided as well as a water spigot and drinking fountain for humans and dogs. Covered and uncovered benches are around the whole perimeter.

Great park for kids. 2 playgrounds. But know it is close to a canyon and skunks can come near. I smelled skunk today along the dirt trail.

Great little park with separate play areas for little kids and bigger kids, nice grassy areas for throwing balls, chasing bubbles. Picnic tables, a walking trail up to the dog park. Nice rubberized play surface. Small parking lot but plenty of street parking. Usually no soap in the bathroom so would be a good idea to bring your own. Non-soap sanitizer tastes nasty if your kids finger feed and get that stuff in their mouths.

One of the best parks in the area. Its in a beautiful area and has a great playground that is good for kids of any age.

I like that its well kept up, and it has playground equipment for both 2-5 and 5-12 year olds. It has bathroom facilities, tables, and benches. The park has its own little parking lot, and its semi enclosed with a split rail fence and theres a nice view of the canyon its perched above.

Gorgeous, spacious park hidden away in a neighborhood. Be careful of the rattlesnakes and coyotes though.

Fun local park for my kids. Good play equipment, could easily handle the 15-20 kids that were there. Has a bathroom, too, which is a big plus.

Good park. Has a play area for older kids and one for younger ones. Theres a figure-8 sidewalk that spans the park that kids can use to hone their biking skills. The park can be rented for b-day parties, but one time I went to one and they had some sort of water or irrigation line leak and half of the rented area was closed off or sopping wet. This park is commonly referred to as Rattlesnake Park by the locals. Youll see the rattlesnake warning signs around the park perimeter fence posts. Not to worry though. Rattlers are as common as sunshine out here in SoCal.

We love this hidden gem. Rarely crowded, very clean and separated from the street by a small parking lot on one side. All of the remaining sides are fenced in.

Grate place with two big playgrounds! I is windy most of the time.

We took the great grandson there for the first time. He had never been to a park or gone on a slide ,hes going on 3. He had a wonderful time, but was a bit overwhelmed. The day we went it was very crowded. But all the chidren were well-behaved, it seemed there were several parties going on.Great exercise for the tykes as they crawl and wiggle through various tunnels and wing til their hearts content.Good restroom facilities, bycycle rack and a small parking lot . Nice sidewalk area for skateboarding and rollerblading. Also sizeable grass area for playing ball and a few barbeque stations. There is a trail we which leads up to a dog park. No dogs allowed in the childrens area.
