Beautiful, peaceful, mostly empty at noon early in April. Would be a great place for a picnic. Please pick up after yourself unlike one slob who left all his fast food trash behind.The flowers and rose garden are beautiful.

Lovely little park with some tables and benches, a rose garden, a gazebo, and local history.

Magee park has its pros and cons. Cons, lots of sketchy people hanging around there, people are not cleaning up after their pets. Pros, great place to kick the ball around, throw frisbee has lots of field space.

This is a great little city park, unfortunately there is a major homeless person problem here. They make a mess in the bathrooms, and I have seen countless needles from drug use laying around. Other than that, it is beautiful.

Great meetings. Carlsbad is the greatest place in earth if only all the tourists would stay home.

Nice little area if local history! Dont sit on the furniture in the Magee house!!!! Thought i was going to be hung. I was the last one to walk in the door on a school field trip and missed the part where they told our group not to touch a thing! Wow!! Should be a big sign in yhe main room upon entrance that says dont touch or sit ob anything!

It was just about 6pm. I heard the sound of a trumpet. The flag lowering was taking place next door at The Army and Navy Academy..Brought back memories..Enjoyable moment to salute our flag.

I enjoyed the NA meeting that takes place Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30 to 2:30. Other than that there is not much going on here. Its basically a small grassy area and a typical Park bathroom. Carlsbad alkaline water is across the street and that place is wonderful.

A beautiful place. It is open and a lot of green grass with old restored buildings. No play structures though.

Our church The Fields hosted Christmas under the stars at this park. Well located close to freeway. Ample parking.

Today was a yearly picnic that was put on by the group The Park was fantastic the venue was great great place to come and walk around and read the history of Carlsbad wonderful place!

Nicely kept public park!

Watched a lot of nieces and nephews grow up here. Enjoyed the tour of the historical house and always treasure the roses which are kept so well. Close to the beach we would always head down to the beach bto top off our family get togethers with a fun time in the water while watching the sunset.
