Right by the free way

Its great coming back to this park. I grow up near Hoilday Park and theres been slight changes but its just as great!Some blocked out areas, guess theyre putting some small building or something.But its still a good spot to hang out

Great space, great trees, great place to have a party, host a get together or play football or soccer. This park is a staple for all carlsbad and coastal nearby communities. Has tables, seating areas, a concert venue, walkable areas and a playground.

I drive by here day and night. Its so well kept. Always families with their kids playing. Theres lots of family functions going on during the weekend. Lots of shaded areas. I took my grandson over the weekend. Great family park!

This place is so nice and peaceful, there is just a lot of noise from the freeway next to it :/ other than that it’s great and seems fairly safe as well!

Has a little something for everyone, wide open space, bandstand, seated picnic benches, toilet block and a volley ball net. Frequently maintained and cleaned and kept in good shape.

I grew up going there, my preschool was right next to it so every day after school Id always go. there are so many things you can do. And for older kids as well its really fun!

CUTE LITTLE PARK ! My wife and I met up with our kids here yesterday to take care of our 2 little grand daughters at our place for a few hours. It was around half way between Solana Beach and Oceanside. It looks a nice park with decent facilities but the freeway is right next door.

I LOVE the trees at this park.This is our go to park to relax with our dog.

Great little park. A little noisy being right next to the highway. There are some beautiful trees, quite a variety. Benches and picnic tables as well.

My family and I spend lots of time here. Plenty of shade and sun to keep warm. Bring a jacket just in case you get cold because you can still feel the ocean breeze.

Its got a great cross breeze. The grass is really pretty.

Peaceful, Quiet, Beautiful, Lush n Green, Large Mature shade trees, Picnic areas..Great place to enjoy the family!!

Its a cool park with a nice playground. I wasnt sure about giving it 3 or 4 stars though. Its a great park with lots of kids to play, but there habe been issues with the homeless and drugs around here. It looks like the police are doing a better job now with keeping all that away.

Nice park for BBQ and playing games with the family. Has several pavilions to eat and a park to play in. Little loud with the highway right next to it, but still nice.

Lovely park, but so near the freeway that the noise level is incessant.

We enjoy coming to this park. There is plenty of parking and enough room for families to enjoy their time there. The playground is big and fun for the kids.

This park is pretty cool.. Its small but yet relaxing. Great place for the whole family to spend time together on any given sunny day.the best part is the cleanliness

Cool park. Love how it has shade and not shade. Plus different sizes for different kids. Also loved the grassy area for us to run around. One thing I didnt like is all the weird cars and Vans parked there with people sleeping and sitting in their cars. Weird.

My favorite park. Best swings in north county. Two different restroom sites. Water fountain. Picnic tables. Huge field to play in. Pet friendly. Gazebo as well.

It is a very nice place for kids and adults places to play and to relax. I had a very nice time.

Beautiful park!

The only good thing here is the somehow beautiful grass, other than that it is full with homeless people and shady cars parked around the park. Still had a good time though.

Its a good size cozy park. But one thing I dont like about this park is its in between the roads. They should at least put the fence around the park or something.

The playgrounds are big and fun for my kids. There are big grass fields and lots of old, large, shady trees. Beware on holidays that this park can get very busy. Also, there is a little bit of freeway noise. Other than that, this is a great park.

Beautiful park with lots of shade and fun playground equipment for the kids. However, if you are looking for being in natures peacefulness, this park is not for you. It is right next to the 5 freeway. : (

Love this playground, but I take a star off because it desperately needs a fence around it. The road is right there on both sides. If you have a runner, keep your hawk eyes on!

Carlsbad such a beautiful city. I love Holiday Park.. Its so big and spacious, theres always room somewhere even if u want a lil privacy..

Two different playground structures for tots and older kids. Nice path to ride bikes, rollerblade. Bathrooms, kid and baby swings. Giant trees shading a lot of the play area which includes a sand pit.The only reason you dont get 5 stars here is its location is adjacent to the 5 highway so theres constant noise and its hard to hear the kids talking to you.

Beautiful park, but lots of freeway noise and urban campers / homeless. The campers seem harmless enough, but there were several unleashed dogs.

Best is that Carlsbad is Fab its Lisa casual the people friendly many parks that are neat and clean its the best District in San Diego

My scout meetings are held at this peaceful park. A great place for Scouting!

A nice park to have family get together and a nice horseshoe pits. All around a nice park,big trees and green grass. The poll only thing U didnt like seeing. Homeless people smoking pot and drinking alcohol at the park benches. There are to many kids in the park for that kind of behavior

Great park, clean and decent amount of shade for the little ones

The perfect park to hang out with the kids: play sports, have a picnic, take pictures or enjoy the play structure, they just love it. A lot of families host large parties here so you could too... Jumping castles are allowed, not sure if you are supposed to reserve the park ahead of time.

Nice place with lots of trees & grass.play area for children. Open space for lots of people to spread out and not be crowded. Generally quiet and relaxing.

The place was tidy, clean and has plenty of room for kids play. Only drawback was the mens room had a clogged toilet and was unusable.

Will always come to this park. I came here to attend Kruger house for pre-school and have come many times for birthday parties and Oktoberfest celebrations. Plenty of open space to have birthday parties, horse shoe pits and play ground for kids. Only bad thing about the park is tha bathrooms could use an upgrade (no doors on stalls).

Not the best. The sign said no dogs.. so we didnt bring our dog. But people had there dogs. Misleading SIGN. People with alcohol. Did like it my daughter played volleyball there.

A nice size park for kids, with swings. There is a lot of shade from trees. Plenty of parking available. It has two restrooms.

Nice neighborhood park. Its not that big and no dogs allowed. Mainly for the neighborhood and kids. I sée dogs all the time.

This is a great neighborhood park. Huge playset areas with a separate area for the really wee children, lots of settings, and most importantly lots of great areas for dinner, wiggle ball, or just picnicking. Plenty of bathrooms and also bird yes for shade. Almost always someone slacklining on the weekends. The only reason for only giving it the starts is the noise and ugliness of the highest that abuts it. Bit what a great local resource all the same.

I really like this park to take my baby. Has a great vibe too.

Really big park with multiple areas from Playgrounds to horseshoe. You can rent out sections for barbeques or other comuntiy event. Plus your almost always guaranteed to have an ice cream man there
