Nice clean park with big fields for baseball, soccer and even some outdoor hoops. They have a community center inside for indoor basketball but you pay an entrance price. There’s a playground and some grills. Large gatherings happen here. Plenty of parking. Only downside is they do not allow dogs at this park...

Nice park with basketball court and fields. Good spot to walk the dogs around a bit or have lunch.

We love coming here to walk with our 90 yr old mom because its a flat park.

Cute park that has lots of grass space for picnics when the weather permits. Lots of basketball courts both inside and outside with 2 or 3 baseball fields. Its beautifully maintained and one of the better parks in the area, definitely worth going out of your way for. This park is not very dog friendly and there are park rangers there a lot of the time.

It was a nice and friendly park. All the kids got along really well. The only think I didnt like was that there was dog poop in the grass and my toddler almost stepped on it.

Great place for events or leisure...

Unfortunately I got there when it was super foggy otherwise I would have rated this place as excellent. I missed the view, but you can tell about the incredible and efficient maintenance work they do all to keep this park pretty! After all I managed to have a great time! My friend and I came here to play tennis and were pleasantly surprised by how well kept up and quiet it was. Quiet for a tennis court that is. It is surrounded by a baseball field and a playground so expect other people to be doing activities around you.

Is a family atmosphere park, lots of great activities to get involved with for kids & grown-ups.

Its a very well maintained park, with a community center, a gym and large parking lot. There are tennis and basketball courts, baseball field and picknic tables which can be reserved. They are very popular for any kinds of celebrations. In the summer, there are free rock or jazz concerts on Fridays. Great neighborhood park! This park has basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, children play area and more! Enjoy the afternoon watching the kids play!

Nice clean park and always a place to park. Outdoor basketball, baseball / softball, and indoor basketball. Also parking for the nearby Mount Calivera hike! The one downside is when the indoor court is split for dual youth basketball courts it leaves very little room for an audience and the sidelines, but its manageable.

We love this park. Our family has been playing sports there, having gatherings in the rentable covered bbq area and playing at the playground for over two decades. Great location with lots of fields space. I would recommend it to anyone with kids or a sports team

Went there to shoot a little basketball. Place was pretty quiet at 3pm on a Saturday. Couple families walking through the park. Couple dogs owners coming to give their dogs and themselves freetime. Park is pretty well kept, with the exception of a couple water bottles left behind on the bball courts. Overall great space.

Been coming here to play basketball all my life. It is the heart and soul of pick up game training grounds. Park is great to bring kids and family and pets too.

Nice little park with a baseball field, basketball courts and play area. The only negative was that some parts of the grass smelled of dog urine. It only takes one inconsiderate person to ruin the experience for others.

Great park. However, a couple minuses- the play area itself is a bit small and there is not a lot of shade to be found on the park. Either by trees or fixtures. The benches are covered with an awning, but the play area and fields surrounding arent well shaded and it can be a lot, on a hot day. Also the park often gets crowded and busy at unpredictable times throughout the day. A part from this it is a nice work with basketball courts. Two large fields. One with a baseball diamond. Playground. Plenty of picnic/bench areas.

Very nice park, well lite, very clean, decent crowd of people here (like no one creepy that sometimes come to parks), not even cursing or music played at the basketball courts! Just very laid back and enjoyable

Great Basketball

Great park for younger and older kids. The play area is in sand, and broken into the older kid structure and the younger kid structure. Always clean and well kept. There are also baseball fields, basketball courts (indoor and outdoors), tennis courts plus Park & Rec classes you can sign up for at the Community Center right there.

Nice park. We had a memorial reception mid week and it was perfect. A playground for the kids and a nice large covered picnic table area for the adults.

Love sports, basketball, baseball, tennis. Picnic area, play area special events . Rooms to rent to the community for classes, board meetings even church. Great for families and anyone looking for a great place to spend some time.

My kids had preschool at this location a few years ago. There are many activities offer I this location through the city of Carlsbad. Kids playground is always clean, my kids still like to go play there.

Nice place to take the kids

Beautiful Park set in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees and flowering bushes. It is very well l kept. Perfect place for an evening wedding reception. Beware of mosquitos in the late evening.

This place is amazing! Covered with cool oak trees, a small stream where you can catch crawdads, bike trails, nice, lush fields and tons of places to explore! One of the best forests around!

Huge event when the kids had baseball! Music, refreshments, and lots of people and we brought the dog. SOOO much fun!

The Carlsbad Girls Softball League uses hes fields and we love playing at this location. The fields are great, public restrooms, play are for smaller children, very close to the freeway, pizza and shopping if needed.
