K1 is surprisingly well designed and very well run. Theres plenty to do and watch while you wait for your turn at the wheel. The comfortable lounge atmosphere is great for hanging out and time flies by quickly. The track is fun and, with fourteen laps per race, you get plenty of time to get moving. Great for parties, too.

They really have done a good job since coming back online, they have improved their menu, they now have a couple of great pizzas! Prices are still reasonable for the amount of laps you get, and they have okay a number of games available for the kids.

Amazing Greek food! I came with a friend on a Friday night right after 5pm without a reservation, but were very lucky to be seated by the bar after 30min. We shared a few plates, the zucchini cake, the calamari, the fried cheese (recommender by the bartender), the famous lamb chops and a dessert. Everything was amazing and we got so full! They also had a great wine list and we each had two glasses that we really enjoyed.

Amazing experience. I took my family to 6 to this location for a birthday celebration. Karts are fast and kept in great condition.We cant wait to return!

My son, who is 12 years old, visited K1 Racing at the end of June 2020 as part of his friends birthday party. In my opinion, the place is NOT SAFE for people with no driver license. You sign a waiver taking all responsibility for your safety before driving, so you can do nothing if you are hurt there. My son drove car for 5 minutes and then another driver crashed into him from behind. There is a guy responsible for waving flag whenever collision is about to occur and he did not do that, so my son had no idea someone was coming from behind. My son had back, chest and neck pain, which luckily passed in a week. It could have been worse. Be warned.

This place is fun. I get frightened pretty easily, but this was all good for me. The workers are really nice and the people too. Im pretty sure I was driving very poorly and know one complained haha. This place rocks.

Brought my son here and he wasnt tall enough to race after driving all the way from Temec. The 48 inch marker is not accurate, its probably around 52 inches. Weve been to two other Karting locations with no problems. Went home and measured with a 4ft stick to make sure. The height marker is definitely wrong.

Much more fun than I imagined, karts are fast, track is a challenge. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And yes the covid-19 precautions are in effect.

Had been wanting to visit this place since moving here almost 4 years ago. Finally went last night for my birthday, and it didnt disappoint one single bit! Angry at myself for not visiting sooner actually. Seriously debating on getting a membership and making it regular AF!

We visited K1 speed as a rather last minute birthday celebration during covid. I feel that they did a good job social distancing, masks, hand sanitizer, ect. the carts were fun. the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, it may deserve much less for this issue. A wheel flew off one of the carts during our second race. after bouncing off the wall flew back striking the driver in the head. Thank god for helmets. They did ask how our friend was and offered to put him into another cart. He was too shook up to continue driving and I dont know if th hey realized he had been hit as hard as he had been. this type of thing should NEVER happen as ir was not a result of crashing. As a result I am very conflicted about the rating. Most all of us did have a great time. I will do it again. But this type of thing should not happen.

Responding back to the owner, there is no call to action on the website to find out if the kids karts are reserved. Still looking. If it is that hard to find, how would I know if there is such a thing to find? Why do you send out coupons and marketing when people walk in the door and you tell them to come back later? Looking through the other one star reviews, this is a common issue that looks like it needs to be addressed. I did raise my one star to three stars because I came back later in the afternoon and did enjoy my time there. The karts are fast and fun. Great place to spend time with the kids. Fix the website with a call to action.

I had an amazing date here that my partner and I are still talking about.The carts are fast and responsive, and actually require a bit of fitness. We did two races... after the first race, I asked Spencer for some tips on the racing lines, and how to improve our times... he was super helpful. The pointers took around 1.5 seconds off my fastest lap!Overall, great customer service from the staff, and well be back for more racing soon! I cant recommend this place enough!

It’s a great place to get very competitive! My work made an “team building” event here, and They were nice and helpful... my only complaint is that some of the racers are really aggressive and they seem to be regulars, I got hit twice by a teenager that was not from our group and he even yelled at me. I was not there trying to win but to have a good time. But overall really fun!

Its so much fun and they have a wonderful staff, if youre military you can buy your speed passes on base for 1/2 the price!!

This place was a blast. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. This was my first time on a K1 track as Ive always had pole position by my house but I will definitely go again when I get a chance.

So much fun. Had a great time with all our friends here. The food is a little expensive so eat first it bring your own. Track is nice and smooth and well lit. Plenty of parking. Expect a wait at night, especially on weekends.

Took my 2 adult sons for their first visit and they absolutely loved it. My wife and I had fun watching them enjoy themselves during their 2 races as their confidence levels increased with time. A great time to be had and cherished by all.

Went for a company event and the race was amazing! Everyone had a great time. The only issue was the heavy set lady at the front desk. She was so rude! Every time we went to ask her a question (5total) she snapped at us - not just me but the other people at the event. None of us had been there before and just had a few basic questions. If you have a choice use the other one in San Diego

I need to come here more often. It gets kind of busy on weekend nights. Just be aware if youre a walk in, dont expect the same level of racing. Some people just enjoy driving on the track with their kids, unlike me trying to get under 30 seconds a lap. Almost there!!! They also have the shifter karts too!

Cashier juliana was probably the nicest and most respectful cashier that i have ever met, she redeemed my coupon and made my experience there at k1 amazing. The manager, the staff, and there customer service was amazing!!! Always going to come back and highly recommend going to race there!!

We came here for a company event. It was awesome how much fun these karts are. They can definitely pick up and go. I would definitely recommend. Its a fun (and safe) adrenaline rush.Pro tip: You dont need to use the brake very much.

Very fun. Electric Karts are very zippy making them feel very fast. Make sure, if you have younger people go, they understand how to stop or slow down in a panic.

We all had a lot of fun at K1! There were 9 of us, including kids. Theyre pretty efficient and we all did three races (kids went separately, driving kids carts) in about two hours. I would have been fine doing just two races. On our last race, we used the shifter cars, but I preferred the regular cars (the shifter cars seemed rougher, bumpier). Two of the older kids drove with the adults on the last race and liked the speed of the adult cars, but also commented on the rough ride. Theres one employee who really likes his job and seemed to be having a great time!

I love K1. Something that can be done as a regular event. But the front desk was very rude. We spent so much on the package and to be talked on is not okay.

Great place for fun and decently priced, but dont ask for a cup of water, they wont give it to you.

Be aware that if you call ahead to reserve a group spot, they charge you $20+ more per person. We went with a group of 12 on a Friday night, and they weren’t super busy. I’d recommend that you just walk in and go with your group.

Great place karts are in good shape well maintained. The track is a good course which is also well maintained. The only concern is the karts felt a little down on power. It maybe that they turned the power down because of the amount of people on track and quite a few newcomers to kart racing. In my next visit its a question worth asking. I am not convinced on the pricing model, the forced membership to race as a drop in. I never received my free items that came with the membership either. I have would have to think before going back, purely on the fact if its a good deal or not.

The staff was either rude or inexperienced with both myself and my guests. The thing they used to serve the French fries was all dusty, ew. The kids loved the racing though.

A really fun place to spend a couple of hours racing around. Ive come here a few times with some family members with ages ranging 8 to 70. We all had a great time racing around with one another. We had a large enough group so that we could race just with ourselves on the track, but it would be fun regardless. There is food onsite but we didnt eat here so I cannot speak to it. Ive heard there are good groupon deals for this place so I recommend checking it out!

What a fun place!!!! My kids had so much fun. The prices are a bit high but you get a lot for you money.

Its a hit and miss. Sometimes you have speed and sometimes you get stuck with a messed up car. After speaking with a few employees over time, they pretty much turn up speed when they want to. Or turn up speed in favor of those who know the employees there. To justify that I got the chance to race with some Pro Motorcross racers who were in town and I set my fastest lap that night. But if racing in your average group karts are much slower.On the plus side it got me to get into gas karting and hitting some real tracks where I dont have to worry about someone controlling my speed.

Had a ton of fun racing, highly recommended for a rainy day.

Loved that they had manual transmission carts! Apparently theyre somewhat new. Theyre set up as paddle shifters. Unfortunately, the first race I did, they limited my cart to 2 gears instead of 3. Second race I got to use all 3 gears (because I asked) and was able to improve my times. Third race I apparently did not have the option to use one of the manual carts, as they had to charge or something. Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed the added dimension of shifting while racing.I deducted a star for the fact that they did not have a water fountain and apparently no free water as well as the fact that they didnt run very smoothly. You can get quite parched after a few races and they seemingly want to force you into their drinks. (*Note, I dont know California law, but most states require free water in some fashion.) There was a bunch of down time between races for a while instead of sending one group out as the other finished. They started to get them running quicker as the night went on, but by the point I was about finished.

Had an amazing time, I recommend going if your into these sort of things

I went to K1 Speed with 3 friends. It was all of ours first time there! I never knew this place was here or what K1 Speed was. We all raced 3 times and were in and out in about 1 1/2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. The guys in the cart area were amazing. The manager had to help a racer on the track who couldnt go in reverse....because the guy wasnt listening when directions were being given...lol! We all had a great time and want to come back soon with more friends!

If you have a need for speed, this place is awesome! Ive been there multiple times and every time is just as much fun as the first time. I highly recommend going if you like racing!

This K1 is nice. Clean and in a nice location. My car felt safe being parked outside. The karts are very well maintained. The track is super fun. Its probably one of the more difficult layouts Ive driven. Definitely worth it. If you groupon it becomes even better.

Super fun. Took a while to get the hang of maintaining momentum vs. driving the kart too hard. Once you figure that out you can go way faster.

Great place to have fun! Kid friendly and the cars go the appropriate speed. The only downside are the waiting intervals between your races.

Fun level is about 4-5 stars. But the price level is 2-3 stars. My wife and I had a great time here and the go karts were a blast. But the price was $98 for two races each person. We got a slice of pizza there for a little over $2 which isnt bad. If you are buying a package deal for a big party I feel like it would be worth it.

It was awesome! The carts go really fast, and you get a printout of your performance lap by lap. The staff was knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. Cant wait to go again.

Very fun place to go. Took my son for the 2nd time, this was for his birthday. All the kids had fun, and we ordered a fresh pizza that was quite decent. Love the electric cars and no exhaust fumes! They even had fans blowing and doors open so if you were in one of those oaths the temperature was comfortable. Theres one section closest to the track that could use some fans to get some airflow, but other than that it was comfortable - especially the soft leather sofas

This is a great K1 worth the drive up. Much bigger then the other track in the city. Very friendly staff.

The price is crazy totally not worth it but the customer service is good the wait time can also get crazy 1 hour wait time just to ride a go-kart..

Came here for Glow Karting the first night they offered it. We had a blast!!! Its harder to see which makes the adrenaline rush that much better. There was about an hour wait but the shifter karts I drove more than made up for it. The button with the boost kick was AWESOME!!! Paddle shifters make the kart much funer to drive as well. Ill be back again for sure!!!

Wheel of k1 speed, it usually takes about 20 to 40 minutes for the first race and then the second and third race comes quickly. The kids love it especially for the juniors, but adults have really fast cars!

My brothers and friends had a amazing time racing each other there, the karts go about 35 mph in the indoor track. The driving course is nicely made, we had fun going there.

Another great track/facility by K1 Speed. Having thoroughly enjoyed their Torrance location, this location was just as fun. Everyone from the staff at the front desk to the track marshals and managers were welcoming, friendly and helpful.The karts are fast and fun - after your first race. I found out that for your first race, the karts are slightly handicapped so that you have a chance to familiarize yourself with the track and the kart. They should make that clear somewhere, because this could make for a bad first experience, if you are constantly being passed and flagged to let other cars pass, always thinking that youre doing something wrong. Other than this, it was am awesome experience, just dont get discouraged after your very first race. If they think you are holding up someone else, they will slow you down to let them pass. This is good when you have a mix of people, but doesnt allow for real wheel to wheel racing. If youre going with a group of people, you might want to let the marshals know that you dont want easy passes and that youll work for them?? Worth a shot!And for everyone scoffing at the thought of electric Go Karts, give it a try - they have enough torque to give you overseer out of every corner, and glue you to your seat on acceleration. They are on par, if not better than some gas powered karts Ive raced.

Loved this place from 2:30pm to 4:15pm on a Wednesday. Brought two kids (12 and 16) from Taiwan (one spoke a tiny bit of English while the other didnt speak any). All of the staff were extremely nice and understanding. They showed the kids what to do and made all of us feel very welcome. We took turns driving then waiting a round for the juniors to have a turn. Between arcade games and sodas the kids were thrilled. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great entertainment for kids and adults. Electric go-carts are much faster than what you would normally find at Boomers and alike. You can actually acquire some basic racing skills.

This is the best indoor electric rental karting experience. They have a safe format that rewards great drivers. They also offer an Adult GP Race league on the first sun of each month. The GP race league is made up of the better drivers at each K1 race center. They also offer parties for birthdays and team building business events. I do not work for K1. I am a regular patron and racing enthusiast.
