Right in Downtown Capitola! Great place for a day trip. Hangout on the beach, do some wine tasting, visit a couple of the dive bars on the pier and beach area.Nothing fancy, just kick back and chill.Parking can be tight and if your coming from the Bay Area leave early. Its a Sunday 12 to 4 kinda place.Worth the trip.
The wine here is great. And although the actual room is small its still comfortable. Service can be hit or miss. Sometimes kind sometimes they are nicer to other people in front of you and dont even smile or talk to you. A little odd. But bring friends, buy wine and its a guaranteed nice time. (Bring snacks to nibble too while you taste)
1st time taster, they were very welcoming and informative
Winery refuse me for a tasting because I came at 5:47pm and they close at 6:00pm. I shouldnt have purchase a bottle but I circled around for parking for a while .
Weve been here maybe 3,4 times when on vacation. The tasting room always has a fun knowledgeable person pouring amazing fun wines
Pretty mediocre wines, but we keep coming back because of the cute tasting room, good location, friendly service and the fact that this place has been so friendly to our dog.
2nd tasting room for Healdsburg winery, specializing in small lot single vineyard varietals. Pinots and Zins are excellent. Great wine club with minimal purchase requirements giving you a 25% discount. Also, tastings are free with retail purchase.
Im a wine club member so excuse the bias but Im a fan of this place. I enjoy the low key atmosphere, the knowledgeable staff, and the location so close to the Capitola beach. The wines range from light and refreshing Pinot Grigio to intense and jammy Tinas Block Zinfandel. If you havent tried them in a while you should swing by again. They recently changed their wine maker and the difference in the white wines is especially pronounced, exhibiting more subtlety and nuance that in the past. This is a good tasting room for a great winery.
Great Sonoma County winery, excellent wines, extremely well run tasting room.
Every wine was awesome! Id be a member of I lived here!
I personally find it highly offensive that a wine bar has coffins and bottles with skull and crossbones in their window.
