I hate to say how much I loved Flodin park because I dont want people to overcrowd it. Its clean, family friendly and had a lovely tour by a parks guide. I highly recommend it but only if it can stay as is.

Kids get busy. Good area for adult sports and a decent exercise routine. What else could one ask for with the ongoing pandemic. Safety is your own personal prerogative. Like always and everywhere. So nothing different.

The soccer fields are kept in good condition here.The baseball fields as well.  The ground is hard in spots and watch for soft spots but that’s all part of the game.Plenty of room for picnicking.  There is no fixed bathroom facility here but often there is a temporary one set up.There is an entertaining, small water park for the little ones.  Along with this there is a very nice play structure which is in good condition.  Plenty of seating for adults.There is a connected nature trail beyond the park.  There are two entry points that cross over Flodin Creek.  The area is returning to its natural state.  It is still rough in places.  Grass carp breed in the shallows during late summer.  There are often water fowl here including cranes, herons, geese and various types of ducks.  Plenty of woodland and field birds as well.There are small mammals in the area but not easy to find.  It is a great place for viewing wildflowers as there is always something in bloom back there.

Great little park. Tennis courts are in good shape. Variety of other amenities for the whole family including playground, splash pad, basketball hoop, soccer field and much more.

I just wish they would install some night lights to the tennis courts.Other than that all is just fine.

Nice park, well maintained soccer field but the trail may have ticks if you want to walk your dog. Plus the track around the field was too open.. not enough trees for shade to walk on a hot day

Nice park. Has good open area but could use some grading. There are big puddles when it rains. Otherwise, it is a great place for kids and grownups too.

This little park in the heart of Canton has everything needed for the whole family. The splash park has good fixtures and water pressure. There are two tennis courts in good to great condition.The biking trail that runs all the way to I-275 starts here. There are also soccer fields, baseball diamond and a decent play fixture for tots.There is a walking path around the fields and is popular with people although the park is almost never feels overcrowded.Heads up that the soccer fields are popular in the afternoon with soccer practice during spring and falls season.

Has a little bit of everything. A splash pad and playground for the little ones. Basketball court, tennis courts, soccer fields and a baseball diamond for the sports enthusiast. A nice paved path for walking or biking, especially great for beginner bikers. Finally a nice nature trail around natural wetlands and a connecting trail to the Lower Rouge river trail which is perfect for biking.

Very nice community park here thats also open for the public. They have a parking lot that you can park at if you dont live nearby. They have walking paths paved or not depending on which path you choose to bike or walk. The paths go for miles and are very safe. They have a couple soccer fields, basketball court, tennis courts, small jungle gym for the kids, and a splash pad that they turn on during the summer. Only thing missing is an enclosed dog park, but then again, its not very big so there may not be much room.

There have been numerous reports of ticks at this park. The city needs to spray down the park. Unfortunate!

Nice and quiet on a Saturday as compared to some other parks. There is a nice splash pad a basketball hoop and a play area with slides.

We took our grandsons to the park. They had a great time!

Had such a fun time. I know it was closed for winter, but my nephew wanted to go play at the park, so we went. And we had a fun time! Even though it was cold and windy, but it was a blast.There was a smell of marajuana a few times, and thats not what I want to smell around a childs play ground, but I didnt see anyone,so it must have been a nearby home

A park with a kids (summer) water feature, tennis courts, soccer fields, soft ball field, access to bike/walking path all the way to the Lower River Rouge bike path. Apart from that, nothing special, a park.

I had a very good time playing tennis and walking the trail very clean and lots of space for any activity or sport you want to play

Its a small splash park but its not as crowded as the other ones. The only downside is that theres only porto-potties for bathrooms. Yuck!

Great place to spend the afternoon. There is a splash park for the little ones as well as a playground. Beautiful nature trails. And tbere is are basketball and tennis courts and picnic tables. Loved this park.

Small track. No swings. Small playscape thats not suitable for toddlers. Some people let their dogs poop on the grass and dont clean it up. Ive been to better parks.

Great place to take children, or to have a party. It has a small water park, a playground, a two tennis courts, two basketball courts, soccer fields, and a My Little Library. There is a huge trail to the other parks around Canton, which is great for exercise.

This park is an amazing little park. Stuff to do for people of all ages. Tennis courts, splash pad, decent playscape, and trails behind the park. Dont get me wrong its not an enormous park but it definitely has good options, plenty of parking, and is always clean.

Its got soccer fields with goal posts, a baseball diamond, a paved path, a dirt nature path, a small play structure with sides, a splash pad, and tennis courts. Everything is in pretty good condition. It gets a lot of use.

I love the park but the upper wetlands walk desperately needs trimming as it is way overgrown and with thorny bushes.

Love this park. Sprinkler park plus playground structure. Great place for a few hours of activity for kids. Huge green area and paths for running/walking/ biking.

Small park in Canton with playground, soccer fields, baseball or softball fields, tennis courts and a walking path. Also a trail you can take that runs with the power lines too the Rouge River Trail.

This place is great! It offers a walking trail around the park and also around a wooded pond area in the back of the park. My 3 and 1 year old enjoy the playstructure. There are basketball and tennis courts, baseball diamond, an area for hocky, about 4 soccer fields and a splash pad that is open in the summer. I wish there were swings, but that is probably all. It is well maintained and I always feel safe there. Kids are almost always playing basketball and soccer there.

Chill place to bring the kids if the other splash zones are full.

This is a good place to have a picnic and get wet. On a very hot day the water is so cold. Very nice place.
