I thought there was a trail but it wasnt clear or distinct. There was a huge dead possum on the path which was totally gross. The best part was the chestnut trees. Hopefully they can be restored. The trail has potential but it just looks neglected and purposeless.
Nice picnic area, short trail system is usually pretty swampy.
Past the pleasant but smallish open area it is just a perfect spot for angsty teens that like to tag trees. Poison Ivy overgrown paths, no actual hiking trails or nice creek views. One gravel loop circles the maintained open area of the park, and goes down into the woods briefly. Great for a jaunt but needs to have the hiking trails designation removed.
Great local park, family friendly and has short trails through the woods.
I truly enjoyed running the trails at this park, some hills but no big ones.just a lack of signage takes a bit to overcome. It can be confusing your first time or two.Well.worth a trip, right near hwy 140.in Hickory Flat
Great place to stroll and relax
Nice outdoors place
Great place 2 getaway
Quiet and well kept. Dogs love it!
It was hard to find. There was no sign to where it was. It was only a dirt parking lot that you pulled into.
Beautiful park with nice trails.
Nice short trail. Very clean. Nice place to lose yourself in the beauty of nature
Small park, mostly hill. Trail goes up from parking lot, around top of hill and then down into wooded marshy area behind hill. Nice green area. The trail used to be clearly marked by gravel, but more recently grass allowed to over grow paths.
This park is beautiful!! The trail is very short, but the park itself is the perfect place for a picnic or any sort of gathering really.
The trail is overgrown and not maintained. Not a worthwhile visit, I ended up walking on the sidewalks outside of the park.
2 benches to sit, one very small gazebo and a small grassy walking trail. Didnt use bathrooms but they look unkempt and dirty.
Great running trails if you run the extra in the very back
Nice place
