Very nice park and trail if you live in or are visiting the Holly Springs/Hickory Flat area. There is a playground, large green space, picnic areas, restrooms, ample parking, and an easy wooded trail that crosses a creek.

Nice little park. Good play area for kids. Good waking paths and poop bags for dogs. Also big grass areas for throwing balls.

On the surface this park is pretty small and quaint. But if you take the paved trail past the playground and off to the left youll find a pretty extensive trail system that makes for an invigorating morning or afternoon run. There is also a nice little stream and waterfalls that the kids love to play in. This is truly a hidden gem of a park.

The park is great, thank you Cherokee county ! How about all you patrons act like you appreciate it and throw your trash away in the ample trash receptacles. There was trash on the ground all over. Disgraceful

Beautiful little park with large playground, walking routes, covered picnic tables, water fountains, restrooms. Very well maintained, surrounded with trees, very nice landscaping, and large parking lot.

Nice park and nice pavilions. The bathrooms felt a little dirty but the playground was still nice.Parking is limited.There is lots of open green space to run and play.The pavilions do not have power. The only power is inside the bathrooms which require 300ft of extension cords to reach the pavilions.

Great Place. Love that has a concrete Trail so I can take the kids bikes next time. This is our first visit but we will definitely be back for more fun. I love that it has many swings because in the afternoon theres lots of children. I also like that there was a few cops drive by and one walking while I was there in a short few hours. Makes me feel safe

J B Owens Park is a very nice park. It has a nice mixture of child-friendly and child-challenging elements lumped into what is clearly well-planned, greatly designed park. I especially like that there is plenty of paved space to walk/run while also providing an unpaved trail at the end, for an adventurous journey.Well done! I look forward to frequenting this park with my family!

Great park and has plenty of nice trails to walk on, I just wish people would release whatever they caught in the creek back and not bring it home with them

Great park for kids to get wiggles out! Playground equipment is well-kept, walking track is open, a separate walking trail goes into the woods to see a stream, and lots of open grassy areas for sports or water fights. Two covered pavilions, water fountains, and a decent bathroom make this an easy place to spend a nice afternoon or evening.

This is a very nice park! It has a large field area to play ball, tumble , run, picnic anything you can think- kite flying?! It’s a great space. Surrounding the field is a paved walking path. Kids love it to scooter around or skateboard on, but you can run, walk whatever! Nice park for doggos too. There is a large play set for small kids and another for bigger kids. There is also a paved path into the woods, however it looks like it never got finished. There is a bridge that passes over small water falls and streams and it’s quite lovely. But again doesn’t last for too long before turning to a primitive trail and soon private property. There are facilities and water fountains, covered pavilions and lots of seating for parents, or caretakers. This park is always busy when we go, but it’s not a big deal. Overall a really great park!

Beautiful park, great playground area. Paved walking path for most of the way then transitions into trail in a wooded area. Frequent community use makes it feel safer than most others. Unfortunately I have limited mobility at this time but I found it easy to go for a short walk.

Good park for toddlers and young kids alike. The restroom door doesnt lock and there are no snack machines, but the park is still very nice.

My kids love this park. Has a paved walking trail that leads to a creek, great for bike riding, cross over the bridge for a short non-paved hike. Not too long and very kid friendly. Great for little explorers. Playground has two sections, one for older kids and one for the smaller. Also has two pavilions for covered seating. Nice field area for running or games. Bathrooms are clean as far as park bathrooms go. Well kept area. Dog friendly.

This park is a bit too open. I have a small toddler age child and I was having to keep a close eye that he might fall off the edge of the wall or run off the park area. Theres no fencing or gating to keep the kids safe from strangers , or dogs, etc. Im not a big fan of this design. Im not used to seeing a playground this open and a bit dangerous.....

Creative and fun for my 2-year-old grandson. The only down side was that most of the slides were not shaded so they became hot enough to burn a child. Need a tent/cover.

The park is clean and has really neat play equipment. There are plenty of benches, pavilions, and trash cans. Theres a neat walking path for a nature walk or shade. I really love that there are water fountains so you dont have to worry about the kids dehydrating.

This park is has two play sets. One set for older children and one for younger children. There is a pavilion. Other than that the park is pretty barren. It will be much nicer when the trees have grown up.

We enjoy this little park. Its got a great playground that our almost three year old and almost 7 year old thoroughly enjoy.It also has great walking paths and a nature trail loop or two. Great to bring something for the children to ride.There are two pavilions available to reserve and also a well maintained restroom facility.And finally there is a big open field great for pickup games of soccer, frisbee, football or just running around.

Pretty cool Park I was just excited that they had the bathrooms open and they were pretty decent. not absolutely clean but pretty decent. From my understanding theres Trails behind the park which we didnt get to go visit. I wish whoever makes parks would make some sort of shade canopy for the children after a certain time the sun comes up and it gets way too hot for them to even get on the slide

Nice park with fun playground equipment for kids of all ages. Big grassy area for playing sports, exercising, or maybe a picnic. The only drawback was there were lots of fire ant piles in the grass. We still enjoyed playing in the grass, just had to keep an eye out where you were standing. The piles were easy to spot by the mound of dirt.

Nice cement to walk. Great for strollers and wheelchairs . You can even walk your dog. But you have to clean up after him.

Beautiful park, with pavilions where you can sit at picnic tables and enjoy a lunch etc. The paths/sidewalks are smooth and easy for wheelchairs, the picnic tables have areas where wheelchairs can have space to eat too. If you follow the path after the playground to the left it takes you to where a small creek is. Bathrooms are clean today it was out of tissue paper. But there were a lot of people and children...it was a beautiful day. Very nice park.

Its nice, be careful with little ones in the trail however, we encountered two snakes. Which it is there habitat, just be careful. Both were not a threat and not close, but its something to keep in mind for little adventurers

My kids enjoy this park. The only thing I dont like is that there is not any lighting on the backside of the playground. So at this time of the year we have to make sure we go early.

This park is great for my friends and I too walk. What a beautiful little walking trail to the left with a nice little creek. I just wished it would tell us how many miles it is! I like that I feel safe and that holly springs p.d. patrols in there! Although, as a woman, I would not walk the left trail by myself for the reason that there is a lot of men with dogs that walk back there. Some seem a little weird!!! otherwise, a fantastic place!

It is clean and a nice park. There are so much to do for kids. There are plenty of parking spaces and picnic tables. However I wish it had grills for barbecue.

They have a slide that has metal rollers on it!! When the sun is full blast it gets super hot! Im trying to figure out who the genius was that thought that would be a good idea!!

I almost hate to leave this review, because its like having your own private playground. This is a great park with lots of play Space walking trails a small hike and a huge brand new playground. Our daughter loves this place and we go there on a regular basis. It is extremely quiet in the late afternoons and in the middle of the day around lunch time. There is little to no shade so on a hot day you may want to find a different Park. The park is also dog friendly

Really clean. Fun for everyone. Playgrounds and trails are nice. Not sure why the restrooms were locked at 5pm on a weekday but we had a good time either way.

Very nice park with plenty of things for kids to play on. Nice picnic area (covered and uncovered). So much space for kids to run around and burn up all of that high energy. Have a kite or drone? Great open space to use them. Like to run or walk? Perfect for that too.

Not the best place to get in a long jog but there is a walking path. Looks like the walking path is about 1/4 mile loop but will branch off to go to a wooded walking trail. Large playground which is labeled ages 2 to 5 yrs. Bathrooms and picnic tables and covered pavilions.

Playground is best early morning or late evening when its not so hot cause nothing shade it. Has several swings & slides. Lots of running around room for kids for soccer, frisbee, or whatever. Did see a lot of dogs hopefully owners cleanup after their pets cause there are definitely a lot of children coming to this park. Park has walking trails that go to a creek its very shady & peaceful. Has a couple of pavilions with tables. Bathrooms conveinant to playground area.

Very nice place to walk jog bring your dog and if you have children or Grandchildren to play at the playground. Or enjoy solace time.
