One of our favorites! Its usually not crowded and the views are spectacular!There is a boat ramp, a playground, picnic shelters, and a walking trail.Id avoid the portapotty, by Im sure you can figure something else out.

Nice park! Relaxing, but really doesn’t have trails. It’s a beautiful place to have a picnic

Great open water swim spot, very clean, be careful of the deer on the drive back. Also great place to fish kayak, and paddleboard. Very low boat traffic.

Dont come here. It is one of the most beautiful spots in Georgia, it has just become too busy, so please stay away!

Nice little park. Boat ramp, decent parking (maybe 40 cars, plus more on the road leading in), covered picnic area / tables, swimming, walking trails, fishing area, playground. Public restroom is porta-johns but otherwise, good family place thats relatively quiet / tranquil.

Im glad the marshal has came into the park during peak hours and cleared out the cars without trailers from the trailer parking area. The restrooms are rarely clean enough to use but atleast its a safe fun place to go enjoy fishing or boating or hiking or the park picnic

There is a variety of wild life and in this visit i was treated with ducklings m!!!

The water was so low. Due to extreme heat and no rain. Very nice park but the fish were not biting

Beautiful place but we rented a pavilion and it didnt have water or parking spaces. Portable restrooms are not my favorite either.

No water on this side anymore .The park is surrounded by stinky mud.

Great park, nice family size pavilions. Great place to drop your boat in. Only has port-a-potties cause of being on the flood plain

I have only been here on week nights when the sun is setting so I cant speak to weekend crowds. Expect to find a few Dads with their kids and some fishing tackle, some small fishing boats putting in at the boat dock, and maybe some young lovers taking selfies at the covered picnic tables. Peaceful and tranquil, quiet except for the occasional passing motor boat.

Had fun swiming with the family,till it started pouring down rain on us but its been so hot lately we kinda need the rain
