This enormous park is beautiful, with scenic views of the Deer Flat Fish & Wildlife reserve and acres of Idaho farmland. The Frisbee golf course located here is bet difficult. What it lacks in mature trees and water features it makes up for with narrow fairways and small targets. Highly recommended for a fun family outing.

We love the view of the lake and the large playground. The shelters are nicely spaced throughout the park. I wish it had a bit more shade and that there was soap in the restrooms. I am also pleased that there were trash cans available at the shelters. The playground does not use bark chips but the recycled rubber material which is nice for kids to play.

Great little park... well maintained and course is preety easy to navigate. There were plenty of places to have a picnic or even courts to play ball on... I plan on coming back dor some more disc!

The park is better for older kids as they have a small play set but a lot of field to play football or Frisbees. It was just okay. Nothing special as I have seen at other parks

We had a lovely evening at Mallard Park! Very expansive park, with lush, well-maintained lawn and beautiful views of Lake Lowell. Paved paths loop throughout, offering multiple choices for walkers and runners. Some slight hills and slopes, but nothing strenuous. Lots of doggie bag stations for those with their pets (we did not see any signage restricting off-leash play) . Large playground equipment will entertain the kiddos. Frisbee golf course was clearly labeled. Numerous gazebos for gatherings or just taking a break. Also features a beautiful outdoor stone amphitheater. For those who play Pokemon Go, there were three gyms and many pokestops (at time of review). A beautiful place to spend quality time outdoors. We foresee many return trips!

Great large park with lots of area, overlooks the lake. Several gazebos which can be reserved if needed, often necessary if busy season for birthdays etc. Disc golf course

We love this park because my husband plays with the toddler at the playground while I walk the extensive paths with the baby in the stroller. I usually get 2-2.5 miles in each time we go. As of Nov 2020, however, the playground has a broken swing, a cracked slide, the hydraulic lift pole is broken, and the rocking boat thing is also broken, and these things have been broken for at least several weeks. Just wish someone would get on top of fixing the playground or at least simply removing the broken items if possible.

Nice job city of Caldwell. The park is kept in great condition . The bathrooms are always clean. And the playground is nice. Theres also a disc golf course.

This is a relatively new park with an 18-hole frisbee golf course and a lot of walking paths. Bathrooms and a handicap-accessible playground for younger kids makes it family friendly, as well as quite a few covered picnic areas. Great view of Lake Lowell, but not a lot of shade yet.

Weather is great, water is nice and 75 ish degrees so fishing is eehhh but still feels good to get out on the water

This was a beautiful park. The playground equipment had no ladders it was all ramped with handrails which was a lot safer than the old way. They had a teeter totter with big seats on both ends we tried it....it was fun! The park was clean and had bathroom facilities. We had a surprise birthday party there and were very satisfied. The park was handicapped accessible.

Great childrens playground. A few places to set up for lunch or birthday parties. If you play games like Pokemon Go, its a good place to go.

Disc golf course is fun for all ability levels. A full 18 holes. Park is clean and family friendly. Its a newer park so shade is working its way in with the tree growth. The gazebos are easy to reserve.

We do a lot of birthday get togethers with friends and family. Always a fun place for the kids and the adults can relax under one of the gazebos.

Had a awesome time at the park lots of parking an upper level and lower end of the park has there own parking. Great over look of lake Lowell very clean covered picnic tables and clean restrooms, also real nice playground for the kids also a 18 hole Frisbee golf course liked the park very much.

This place is awesome. In a few years when the trees are fully matured this will b a 5 star park. That is the only reason I gave it 4.The playground has a lot of equipment and there are baby swings which my 1 yr old loves.

My best friend designed this park, he did a wonderful job, I take my kids here as much as I can its a beautiful location, enjoy the frisbee golf if you can

As far as parks go, this one is the best. It has an 18 hole disk golf course, a huge playground, and a few large gazebos for picnics. It overlooks the lake and is well taken care of

A hidden jewel. Its nice looking and well maintained park. Beautiful green grass, with an even more beautiful view. Tip: if you can visit during the week itll feel like you have the park to yourself.

This may be my favorite Caldwell Park. Fun, modern, boundless playground (wheelchair accessible). Full well liked frisbee golf course, open air basketball court, nice concrete walking paths throughout at accessible slope, two restrooms and nice hillside. My kids love to play there.

Nice city park with water and toilets. A nice place to relax from the heat of summer. Would be nice to have more trees however this is the plains afterall.

It has a large path for biking, walking, and strollers. It also has a nice play set to accommodate plenty of children.

My 20 month old has a blast even though some kids pushed him filled stairs on the play structure. Cant get a better view!

I didnt know this park was back here until a few months ago when I went for a drive, but we have been back several times.The playset has slides of all sizes and it has astro turf for grass, so its pretty soft. Ramps everywhere on the playset so little ones can go up and down with ease. The rest of the park is very nice also, there is frisbee golf, there is a nice path to take a stroll on, lots of covered gazebos with seating. Beautiful view of lake lowell and surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit.

I went there to play disc golf for the first time what a great course Long Compact and fun and almost impossible to lose discs which is great but for someone like me who is more of an intermediate player it was very challenging and loved it and the signage was absolutely terrific most places dont have that kind of signage

My kids Love this park and I love the turf ground. Sometimes people dont throw all their wrappers away but really no complaints other than that.
