Lovely place. Great wine. Great views. Super friendly people. Some insects flying around but that’s what happens when your outside. All employees were respectful of personal space and wore gloves. Very responsible during the times of CoVid 19. Wish minors had more to do and possibly juice or something to color. Again it is a great place.

Tasty wines, great service and wonderful rustic atmosphere! Staff can speak to their wines. No other establishment did that during our trip. This was the third stop on our wine tasting adventure and I was a bit tipsy after my first sip here. They don’t serve any bites but the owner gave us a box of crackers after she heard we have been to a few wineries, free of charge. She just asked that we tip her staff. Done & done! Highly recommend. I loved the 2019 Chicken Dinner Rose.

Wine tasting is one of my favorite hobbies. I am a big fan of Chardonnay , unfortunately it was not ready for tasting .Usually I am not a big fan of Rose until I tried Chicken Dinner Dry Rose.... Wow, It was so refreshing , unique aroma and strong taste which I normally prefer.

No better place to go for great wine and a fun time than Huston Vineyards. If you are out in a wine tour, make sure that Huston is in on your list. A great casual atmosphere with wine that is on par with the best anywhere. Guaranteed, you will enjoy!

My husband, friends and I absolutely LOVE Huston Vineyards! They are my favorite stop on the Sunnyslope wine trail. The wine is fantastic, the winemakers and staff and friendly and knowledgeable, and the tasting room is fun and comfortable. There is nothing better than stopping by, being greeted by name by everyone working, tasting some delicious wine, and then settling in out in the garden area with glass of perfect wine. It’s an added plus if you get to visit the winemakers’ adorable black and yellow labs! I go to Huston every chance I get!

Charming spot for some excellent wines. Happily joined their club and looking forward to harvest in the fall.

Our favorite of the Snake River AVA wineries. Consistently very good to great wines year to year. They have built a beautiful new production barn, but we will miss the atmosphere of the quaint corrugated steel shed that houses their current tasting room! Visit before they move!

Weve been visiting Huston almost since the beginning of their wine journey. We absolutely love the wine, the setting and the people. Idaho wines are maturing and becoming more and more fantastic each year, and Huston has been at the forefront of this growth. For CA chardonnay lovers, youll love the Reserve Chardonnay.

This is such a fun and beautiful vineyard. If you get lucky and go when they are a little slower they spend a lot of one on one time with you describing the wine and it’s history. My favorite wine is the refreshing chicken dinner white wine. They have a tasting room with a small gift shop. They also have a very pleasant outside area. Last time I went they have a few cute puppies roaming around. What more could you want-wine and puppies?! Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and attentive. One of the greatest wineries in the treasure valley!

We loved this winery! The wine was very tasty and the ladies pouring were friendly, knowledgeable and completely unpretentious like too many wineries lol. Plenty of outside tables and chairs to relax in the shade enjoying your wine by the gardens and fruit trees. A completely enjoyable experience!

If you are looking for excellent wine and extremely friendly service visit Hustons. Greg and Mary, wine maker/owners are often onsite and love to meet visitors, discuss wine and just mingle! Their malbac is over the top delicious and you cant beat chicken dinner white for taste and value. Bring a picnic and relax in the shade!!

Family owned and operated vineyard near Caldwell, ID with a nice selection of premium vines. Cute shop and bar in the barn with small items, t-shirts, etc available for purchase. Property and buildings are very clean and tidy. Tables and chairs in shady back yard for a quiet settingwhere visitors can enjoy a glass or bottle of one their excellent wines.

Awesome family run winery with the best Malbec around. All of their wines we sampled were on the dry side. I truly enjoy the wines and atmosphere the Alger family provides. When headed to Idaho wine country, make this one of your stops.

What a cute tasting room. We went on a wine tour. It was our first stop so I wanted to try the others. I am going to go back to this one. My favorite wine and the atmosphere was more intimate and inviting. And who could resist having a Chicken Dinner souvenir. Dont hesitate to ask how the road got its name.

Best winery in Canyon County

We were cut off after we had spent maybe 10 mins in there and AFTER I had tipped the lady. We were the only ones in there, we were not disrespectful or belligerent in any way, and we were simply laughing enjoying ourselves when we were told that we could not have any further tastings. If we were acting foolish or rude in any way I would have understood, but that wasnt the case. Will never go there again.

Fantastic wine tasting. Wines are superb and had a great time enjoying a bottle of wine outside in beautiful November weather. Chicken Dinner and Rose were our favorites.

Not a big wine person and I have to admit the wines they have are a little too dry for my liking. My father-in-law LOVED there stuff though and hes MUCH more of a wine person than me. However, that said. The girl they have working there is AMAZING!!! Not only is she REALLY cute with great personality. But WOW she is VERY smart and knowledgeable about not only the Huston wines, but also about the wineries in the area. She was able to talk about a wide berth of wine subjects with my father-in-law AND she was able to help us find wineries that were open on Monday afternoon. It was REALLY fun experience.

I worked in the Napa Valley in California for five years and never found a wine to match the Huston 2013 Malbec. The Private Reserve Petit Syrah is wonderful and their new Cabernet is terrific. Im not a white Wine fan, but I would drink the Chicken Dinner White all day. The Merlot is to die for and for an every day wine the Chicken Dinner Red cant be beat anywhere.
