Hard to get reservations in this beautiful little park. They stay booked but we finally got it. Nice spacious sites. Stay away from site 19. Big rigs can not get out due to a tree. All other sites are great. Very quiet! Amazing park for walks, kids to play or just sit and watch the ducks. Will return!!!

Overall it is a great park. It has plenty of walking and hiking opportunities. There is a newer trail that has some beautiful scenery and humorous signs. The playground is accessible to children of different abilities. There is a disc golf course. And there is plenty of shade throughout most of the park. The view of the Pecan Bayou is great.

Lots of trees right next to the water. If you dont like cats probably not the place for you.

Theyve recently updated the playground equipment. It was much needed and it looks great! I was also told the trails are updated. Theres a disk golf course and the walking path goes along the beautiful pecan bayou.

Great park. Great playground. Paved concrete 1 mile walking track. Several Primitive nature trails .7 miles long. Good fishing. Great kayaking. Boat ramp. Lots of ducks, guess and a couple chickens to feed. Tons of friendly cats in one area. Has a 18 hole frisbee course.

Very popular spot for speed walking and dog walkers. The kitty brigade was a pleasant surprise though.

Very nice RV park, 50/30 hookups, cable, some areas are shaded with nice trees, but all are level on asphalt. Perfect location on the river. Very quite and very spacey for TV and people.

Great spot for a quick stroll through the trees while watching the animals forage throughout the area. Fantastic water bird viewing area. If you need a quick stop while traveling through Brownwood, this is a nice secluded area to do so. RV hookups, restrooms and a nice walking trail are just a few of the amenities located here.

Great placeNeeds to level the entrence and exit by the start of dice golf. Hard on tires because of the drop off.

Love sitting here and enjoying lunch under one of the many shade trees and then taking a walk before heading back to the grind.

They had some great trails back where they cleaned it up!

A beautiful park on Pecan Bayou with loads of fun things to do. Frisbee golf, walking and kayaking trails, great playgrounds, clean bathrooms. Good RV spots.

Shaded trails, wished they were mapped, watch for critters (raccoon, cat, bird, armadillo) and a few steep areas but mostly flat hiking areas.

Beautiful park to walk, and nice new playground. Not a bad place to fish in town.

Have always loved walking here. The ducks love their bread too.

Nice park with big Oaks for shade. Plenty of squirrels and ducks. Nice picnic tables and pull offs. There is and small RV park with electric and water as you drive into the park.

A great place for large events, family picnics or quiet meditation.

This park is a jewel in Brownwood Texas crown! It has so much to offer. There is RV camping, fishing, kayaking, frisbee golf, childrens playground, picnic tables, pavilions, a lovely nature trail and dont forget to bring a little something to feed the ducks!

Decent place it was fun letting her feed the Ducks I feel the ducks look pretty bad they need to try to do something with their ducks the ones that look like they went through hell should be took care of cleaned up or retired. Just my opinion. And maybe control the population of ducks.

Great getting take dogs out there for a bit and seeing cats ducks and the view awesome fishing great its one of the best places to go thank you to all makes it possible

Beautiful park. Pretty bayou running through with great looking trees surrounding it. Plenty to do. On top of it all the nature trail was gorgeous.

The new play ground is a lot of fun for the kids

Peaceful and quiet. Family friendly. Ive seen people fishing, boating exercising, picnicking, feeding the ducks and squirrels and walking the nature trail.

Such a sweet park. Easy to make a reservation, great directions, clear instructions. Nice deck on the river for a peaceful picnic.

Nice clean park, no alcohol allowed except for events. Nice playground, walking paths and sand volleyball court. Fishing is ok if youre only after panfish with cats and bass occasionally. Overall a nice free outdoor family place.

Nice river great for fishing, tubing/kayaking, and feeding ducks...I wouldnt get in it, but if thats your thing... Nice nature trail too. Not a very long ttrail, but a good one over a mile for beginners running. Very well shaded, peaceful, and thankfully not crowded with the redneck weirdos here. Closes early at dusk though. Wish Id found it sooner while on this project, but cant wait to leave... This park may be the best thing I found in this little town.

Nice park! Be sure to take something for the ducks and geese! I also feed the feral cats there. Some now knows me and I can pet them!

Easy access to the river with good bank fishing.Theres a pavilion with a large open grill, picnic tables and a large childens playground

Has a walking path, lots of playground equipment for kids. There is also geese and ducks that you can feed and if you want to get a hook wet you can do that also.

Its such a relaxing place and I love the ducks with fishing.
