Beautiful park with tall trees. Close to Hillcrest pool. Right across the street from the McDonalds. Has tennis courts and shelters. The playgrounds are in amazing but they work. Good location pretty scenery lots of picnic tables.

I was so happy to see Rub-N-Tug BBQ at the park absolutely the best BBQ in South Dakota

Nice open place to visitCoVID 19 status: This place is moderately visited. You can see about 15 vehicles during the day. Risk for infection might be low as active cases of CoVID19 is low in Brookings compared to other SD places. People are lying in hammock, strolling around. Few people are playing lawn tennis. The aquatic center is closed though.

I used to go here for school. it was amazing. Now to the park, the SDSU one is for ages 5 to 10The bobcat one is for the olde kids. The other one is for both. But who cares for ages. Just have fun.

We travel to or through Brookings many times a year and Hillcrest park is always a place we must stop and let the kids play again before getting in the car for another 8 hours.

This is a great park! There is really anything you wou ld need: open grass, playground equipment, a shelter, tennis courts, etc. Its always clean when we have been there. The kids just love it!

I go to this place all the time. It is so family friendly and has a lot for kids to do.

Fun, we used a shelter to celebrate a birthday. And even though we didnt reserve it was, it was clean already.
