Enjoyed my walk but noticed alot of trees down. They really need to start planting new native trees for the future of the park.

Beautiful walk any time of year. The visitor center is perfect for children, we especially love the observation window and educational materials!

Beautiful hiking paths and lots of dog friendly areas to spy on other peoples dogs when you dont own one. Best place in town to find a little peace and quiet and fresh air. Would Definitly recommend.

Very clean. As soon as my family got there we seen a snake, chipmunks,and we were about 10 feet from a deer. Very nice place.

Great park for a nature walk!

Nature lovers walk. Such a small trail but has so many types of birds migrating. They are singing in all kind of notes. Listening to the types of frogs or some other water animals serenade. Wish didnt see any building around the nature preserve. Whatever left of the land sure they saved. White tale deer, rabbits, you can hear all kinds of birds including awls. I am so thankful that I get a chance to walk there and enjoy nature, and It is free.

I love hiking the trails here

The only park in bg that you can get that cool under canopy, wind in the branches, type middle of a forest feel. The medow is huge and has a good viewing platform. Time your visit appropriately as to avoid the mosquitoes. This is still the black swamp under all the corn, and soy beans, and the wild places still retain moisture, like your mom. Dont get your wheelchair stuck in mulch.

Incredibly beautiful preserve, well kept trails, clean restrooms, truly fun place for families, pet owners, or outdoor enthusiasts. There are mutt mitts provided to help dog owners clean up after their pets, fun facts posted throughout the trails, clean and safe benches, and a variety of flora and fauna to enjoy.

Wintergarden park is a blessing for Bowling Green and Wood county. Dog walking, bird, deer and frog watching. Clean and well managed. BGSU students should know where it is and have a walk in the woods and really look at the trees.

Well maintained trails, lots of wildlife, and benches located at cool and interesting places to relax!

I’d say that this is the best place in Bowling Green, OH for a hike with a few nice trails. You could easily see some dear except in winter. Other than that this is home to variety of flora and small animals including squirrels and various birds. Love this place.

We see deer every time we visit no matter the time of day.

Trails are great for a leisurely stroll in the woods! Cinda was super awesome with our Girl Scout troops! Our family loved the tadpole catch and release! Definitely a gem in BG!

Well maintained many trails to choose from

This is a great park with wonderful trails and both forested and meadow areas. Its generally peaceful, quiet, and well maintained. Be aware however that after heavy rains certain parts of the trails can get quite muddy or even flood as parts of the park are wetlands. The trails are well marked and follow loops, making it pretty easy to navigate even on your first visit. While not my thing, the trails and terrain are quite suitable for dog walking and for jogging.

Winter garden is a great place to go. It has a wonderful vernal pond that is fun to dip the nets in to see the spring creatures that are hatching in the springtime and go back later to see more interesting creatures and plants.

This place is fantastic. Its great if you just want to get away from everything but still be in town. Great for jogging, biking, walking, taking your dog (they provide baggies).The staff is always polite when you see them, and the common area in the nature place is clean and inviting.

One of my favorite parks in BG. There are many different natural settings you can walk through and it is very pet friendly!
