The church has a dedicated staff that is helping everyone to stay safe during the pandemic.

The gift shop needs to be open on Wednesdays like it says on its stated hours posted on the door! Everytime I travel up to Boston specifically on a Wednesday (my train station does not have weekend service) to shop at the gift shop, its closed!! I brought a couple of friends up with me who wanted to shop there also and we couldnt! Additionally, I gave them a rather large donation on the feast day June 27 in honor of my favorite Our Lady Of Perpetual Help and they didnt even acknowledge it!! At least say thank you. And the sermons at the weekday noon Mass are WAY too long!!

I had the joy of attending 12.30 pm Sunday Mass there recently with some family members. It was a great spiritual experience. Having said that I think the sermon was a bit too long. It is a beautiful basilica.

This is a great minor Basilica in the Boston area. It is a great Roman Catholic Church to visit if you are in the area for a weekend or week day. They have a single bathroom to stop by and use. The music is good, the priest is nice and fast. Not a boring homily so it was easy to stay awake and not be sleeping. It is a good place for kids. It is massive and beautiful. It was build my Irish workers back in the day. This is a place someone could stop and take a hundred photos of the imagery and Windows.

Im a devotee of our Lady of Perpetual help since Im young,when I came here in USA i searched where i can find a National Shrine of our Lady of Perpetual Help, and I am so very lucky its nearby our State Connecticut, I asked my son the best 6oth birthday he will give to me is to bring me there and attend a Thanksgiving mass for myself and all the blessings we received in our family. Im so happy when the care taker knew its my birthday he gave me a gift a St.Michael the Arcangel medal thats one of the best gift i treasured i have it till now; this was 7years ago this coming July 6,2019.This is a huge and a beautiful church so solemn i felt the love of our Mother Mary inside the church.Our lady of Perpetual help- Pray for us.thank you very much for all our blessings we received through your intercession.Amen.

The church is typically open 7 days a week, 7am to 7 pm and Sundays 8 to 6. There is a gift store. Check the website for hours. The parish also has a fantastic grammar school. Nursery, pre K, and 1st to 6th grade.

This basilica is absolutely stunning. I think in many ways its my favorite basilica, not simply because I appreciate Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The church has a certain simplicity inside that adds to the beauty and the mosaics are simply magnificent.

The aesthetic beauty of the building caught my attention and since i live right across the church I went to their service once. It was a pleasant experience.

I grew up on Mission Hill, this is my church! All my sisters were married here and I made my First Holy Communion here, my nieces and nephews were baptized here. I moved away some years ago but I still live in Massachusetts. I pass Mission Church every day on my way to work and I know I am home. No other church feels the same. It is beautiful inside and out and I remember Father Kelly belting out an Alleluia without a microphone and music and being able to hear him all the way in the back of the church. This will always be my church and my home.
